Instructions
This Quick Start Guide is to assist in the setup of the
InniSteam-1000 unit and WSS-0618-ENC water ltration unit.
1. Unbox softener, enclosure, and steamers. Remove any
protective gray lm. Place the softener enclosure in the
center of the table between where the steamers stack.
2. Install the cavity drain screens, drawers and drip trays to
the steamers. Wash the amber pans and trivets.

3. Ensure all water lines have been tted properly to the
softener’s push-to-connect ttings to prevent leaks.

CAUTION
The steamers weighs 125 lbs. each and require two people to lift out of the box and stack on the table. See the owners manuals for
specic warnings and cautions.
4. Connect the inlet water line, drain hose, and output lines
that go to the steamers.
5. Plug the water softener transformer into a standard 120V
NEMA 5-15R outlet. A new outlet is recommended to
support the weight of the transformer.
6. Add 40 pounds of water softener salt to the brine tank.
NOTE: Do not allow salt to get into the oat mechanism
inside the white tube. Failure to do so will result in
water overow.
7. Install the white cap on the softener brine tank.

8. Turn water on to the softener and press the diamond-
shaped button on the left side of the softener control. Hold
for 5-10 seconds until the unit initiates the start up process.
This takes 45-60 minutes to complete.
9. Flush the lines to the steamers to a drain. Do not plumb
them to the steamers yet. The softener must purge the
orange-colored stabilizer from the softener rst.
10. Mount the bottom steamers of each stack to the approved
table. Turn the feet to make the steamer is level using a
bubble level.
11. Mount the feet to the table using screws through the holes
in the feet.
12. Secure the feet of the top steamers to the bottom steamers
using screws.
13. Install drain hoses using provided worm-drive hose clamps.
Cut to length to make sure the hoses are at least two inches
above the oor drain box or into the drain box openings.

14. Once the softener had been purged and the water is clear
(no longer orange) install the water lines from the softener
manifold to each steamer’s water inlet.
15. Plug the steamers into the 50A 208V 6-50R receptacles
installed in the wall.

16. The steamer display will show the Firehouse Subs logo
when it is ready to turn ON after going through startup.
17. Turn the steamer ON to use. Locate the power button on
the right side on the back of the display and hold for 3-5
seconds.
