Check entire box and inside all packing materials for parts. Before beginning assembly, read the
instructions and identify parts using the figures and parts listed in this document. It is critical that all
parts be carefully inspected by the installer prior to installation to ensure that no damage occurred in
transit and that a damaged part is not used. If any damage occurred in transit, Aqua Creek Products,
LLC must be notified within three days of receipt of unit. Proper installation cannot be overstressed, as
an improper installation voids Aqua Creek’s warranty and may affect the safety of the user.

DISASSEMBLING OVERVIEW
To make your PathfinderTM Pool Lift into a PathfinderTM Reverse you must
first partially disassemble the lift. You will need to remove the footrest, seat
support, control arm, chair arm, chair and actuator. You will also need to
switch the extension cord bracket to the reverse side of the main arm
assembly. Follow the steps on the pages following to disassemble your lift.

DISASSEMBLING MAIN CONFIGURATION
1) FOOTREST:
Remove 1/4" Button-Head, flat washers &
nylock nut. Remove plastic footrest. Unpin
footrest tube from chair and remove. Save and
set aside hardware and footrest tube for
reverse footrest assembly.
2) CONTROL ARM:
Remove 1/2" x 7” hex bolt, flat washers &
nylock nut. Remove 1/2" x 1-1/2” hex bolt,
flat washers and nylock nut. Save and set aside
control arm and all hardware.

3) SEAT SUPPORT:
Remove 1/4" x 5/8” hex bolts behind chair.
Remove 3/4" nylock nut and flat washer. Save
and set aside seat support and all hardware.
4) CHAIR ARM & CHAIR:
Slide chair arm and chair away from main arm
assembly and set aside.
5) ACTUATOR:
Remove 3/8” shoulder bolts and nylock nuts from
top and bottom lugs. Slide actuator off of lugs, save
and set aside along with all hardware.

6) BRACKET:
Remove extension cord bracket from main
arm assembly and set aside. Replace
hardware back into main arm assembly.

ASSEMBLING REVERSE CONFIGURATION
NOTE: Aqua Creek recommends that all old nylocks be
replaced with new nylock nuts when reassembling.
1) BRACKET:
Install the extension cord bracket to the opposite side of the
main arm assembly from the normal configuration using the
1/4" x 3/8" button-heads, lock washers and flat washers.
2) ACTUATOR:
Install actuator onto top and bottom lugs,
rotated 180ofrom normal configuration.
3) CHAIR ARM:
Slide chair arm shaft through main arm assembly.

4a) SEAT SUPPORT:
Before installing the seat support,
first assemble both plates onto seat
support tube reversed from how
they were for normal configuration.
4b) SEAT SUPPORT:
Once the plates have been installed
for the reverse configuration,
connect the top plate to the chair
arm shaft using the 3/4" nylock nut
and flat washer and connect the
bottom plate to the back of the
chair arm using the 1/4" x 5/8” hex
bolts.

5) CONTROL ARM:
Install the bottom of the control
arm to the main arm assembly
with the 1/2" x 7” hex bolt, flat
washers and nylock nut. Connect
the top of the control arm to the
inside of the top plate of the seat
support using the 1/2" x 1-1/2”
hex bolt, flat washers and nylock
nut.
6) FOOTREST:
Slide footrest tube into chair and
pin to desired height. Connect
reverse footrest to footrest tube
using 1/4" button-head, flat
washers and nylock nut.
