PRESCRIPTION
The AQUAJET LD-A7 irrigation device with accessories (hereinafter referred to as “irrigator”, “device”, or
“product”) is designed for massage and the medicated irrigation of the oral mucosa. It is used to prevent and
treat periodontal diseases, gingivitis and periodontitis.
The device produces a strong pulsing water jet or a special solution that is able to reach all areas of the oral
cavity. It massages the gums and the entire oral cavity, improves blood circulation and prevents gum bleed-
ing.
The device also provides maximum care for prosthetic dentures and dental crowns, prevents the growth
of disease-causing microflora and inflammatory processes in areas where prosthetic dentures and dental
crowns come in contact with the oral mucosa, which cannot be achieved by any other ordinary means.
The device is a great tool for preventing tartar formation, gingivitis and various periodontal diseases.
RECOMMENDED INDICATIONS
The oral mucosa is a complex organ of the human body that performs many vital functions. Disturbed blood
circulation in the oral cavity caused by the presence of various dental structures, insufficient hygiene care,
as well as various diseases may lead to a significant deterioration of the quality of life. The regular massag-
ing impact of the pulsing water jets on soft tissues of the oral cavity restores normal blood circulation, which
facilitates disease prevention and treatment. The restored blood circulation in the oral cavity provides the
natural protective properties of the oral mucosa in restoring protective, secretory, sensory and thermal control
and immune functions.
When it comes to dental care, most people usually focus on the “whiteness” of their teeth, not caring much
about gum health. Meanwhile, if the interdental space and gingival crevices (areas between the tooth neck
and gum) are not massaged and cleaned, this may lead to a gradual accumulation of tartar, gum inflammation
and a persistent fetid breath. As the inflammatory progresses, the gum tissue gradually shifts away from the
tooth, thus allowing bacteria to penetrate deep inside up to the jaw bones, which are also subject to inflamma-
tory destruction of their structure. The reduction in bone tissue causes the gums to also begin to shrink, leads
to the visible elongation of the teeth, and makes one’s smile appear not quite aesthetically appealing. The
weakening of the tooth support by the gums and jaw bones eventually leads to tooth fallout.
Bacteria accumulate and propagate in the interdental space. Bacteria live in soft dental deposits, and their
life-sustaining activities result in the formation of an acid that destroys dental enamel and leads to inflamma-
tion of the gingival membrane.
Dental crowns and prosthetic dentures are difficult to clean regularly using ordinary methods, which causes
accumulation of disease-causing bacteria between the crown edges and the gingival crevice. This leads to
tartar formation and oral mucosa inflammation.
Use of the irrigator by children reduces their risk of developing dental diseases, facilitates oral care and re-
duces the time required for oral hygiene in the presence of braces several-fold.
Children often lack patience and diligence to be able to clean their teeth thoroughly, which makes using the
irrigator a great way to allow then to carry out oral hygiene in the best way.
Contraindications:
• Before starting oral cavity irrigation, a doctor should examine patients for whom premedication with antibiot-
ics (bacteremia) was previously required during dental treatment.
• The device is contraindicative to patients with abscesses or ulcers in their oral cavity.
