Bathliftsfacilitaterespectivelyallowtheentryintoandexit
fromthebathtub.Theyareintendedsolelyasabathing
aidforpeoplewithreducedmobility.Anyotheruseis
prohibited.
Indications
•Signicantreductioninfunction/missingfunctionality
oftheupperand/orlowerextremities(suchas
amputations,paralysis,jointdisorders,neuromuscular
disorderswithimpairmentoftheextremities),when
aindependententryintoandexitfromthebathtub
respectivelysittingdownandupisnolongerpossible;
Trunkcontrolandbasicfunctionalcapabilityofthe
extremitiesmuststillbesufcient.
•Chronicconsequencesofillnesswithfunctional
limitationsoftheupperand/orlowerextremities,that
nolongerpermitanindependentbathing,however
whenalargelyindependentbathingispossibleby
theuseofthebathliftandotherbathingaidsfor
compensatingthedisabilityarenotsufcient.

Iftheredindicatorlightgoesoutaftertheemergencyoff

withtheedgeofthebathtub.
2.Makesurethatthesideapsarelevelwiththeseat
andrestatontheedgeofthebathtub.
3.Fillthebathwithwater.
4.Sitonthesideapnearesttoyouasyouwouldona
chair.
5.Slidebackwardsuntilyouaresittinginthemiddleof
theseat.
6.Turnyourselfintothebathingposition,byliftingoneleg
andthentheotherovertheedgeofthebathtub.
7.Onceyouaresittingcorrectly,presstheDownbuttonD
andholditdowntolowertheseatintothebathtub.
Oncetheseathasreachedthelowestposition,it
ispossibletoreclinethebackrestbycontinuingto
holdtheDownbuttonD.Thisproducesamore
comfortablebathingpositionandallowsyouto
immerseyourselfdeeperinthebathwater(noton
modelORCAF).
8.KeeptheDownbuttonpresseduntilthebackresthas
reachedthedesiredposition.
Togetoutofthebathtub,followingthesestepsin
reverseorder.
9.Toraisethebackrestorthebathlift,presstheUp
buttonBandkeepitpresseduntilithasreachedthe
desiredposition.

–Disconnectthehandcontrolfromthedevice

anyequipmentthatisusedintheworkplace(e.g.
byapaidcarer)toliftaloadbesubjecttosafety
inspectiononasixmonthlybasis.Pleaserefertothe
HSEwebsiteforguidancewww.hse.gov.uk.LinktoHSE
informationdocumentonLOLERinHealthandSocialCare:

Iftheabovecleaningandsafetynoticesareobserved,the
productwillbemaintenancefree.
IMPORTANT!
Thehandcontrolmayonlybeopenedbythe
manufacturerofthebathlift.
1.Checktheproductregularlyfordamageandtoensure
thatitissecurelyassembled.
2.Intheeventofdamageand/ornecessaryrepairs,
contactthedealerimmediately.
3.Thebathliftmustbecheckedbyanauthorizeddealer
beforeeveryre-use.Itisrecommendedtocheckthe
bathliftafter24monthsatthelatest(inaccordance
withENISO10535).
4.Ifthebathliftisnotusedforaprolongedperiod,
chargethebatterycompletelyandthenraiseandlower
thebathlift3timeswithoutload.Repeatthisprocess
every3months.Thishelpstomaintaintheservicelife
ofthebattery.
