Questo apparecchio è conforme alle prescrizioni della direttiva EMC 89/336/CEE
relativa alla compatibilità elettromagnetica.
Avvertenze generali
Le norme nazionali possono prevedere restrizioni per l’installazione nelle stanze da bagno.
L’installazione è a carico dell’acquirente. La società produttrice risponde unicamente dei danni
cagionati da cause consistenti in difetti di fabbricazione, è esclusa pertanto ogni responsabilità
per danni non riconducibili a tali difetti, quali ad esempio danni conseguenti a non corretta
installazione, utilizzo non conforme a norme di sicurezza, installazione o utilizzo non conforme

Un leggero gocciolamento dall’orifizio di scarico della valvola di sicurezza ènormale
nella fase di riscaldamento. Per questo motivo si consiglia di collegare tale scarico,
lasciato comunque sempre aperto all’atmosfera, con un tubo di drenaggio installato in
pendenza continua verso il basso ed in un luogo privo di condensa.
Nel caso esistesse una pressione di rete vicina al valore di pressione massima riportato
nei dati di targa, ènecessario applicare un riduttore di pressione il piùlontano possibile
dall’apparecchio.Nell’eventualitàche si decida per l’installazione dei gruppi miscelatori
(rubinetteria o doccia), provvedere a spurgare le tubazioni da eventuali impuritàche
potrebbero dannneggiarli.
Collegamento elettrico
L’apparecchio deve essere collegato alla rete elettrica tramite un interruttore bipolare
magnetotermico differenziale (30 mA) rispondente alle vigenti norme CEI-EN (apertura
contatti di almeno 3 mm, meglio se provvisti di fusibili), oppure tramite spina.
Questo interruttore deve essere utilizzato tutte le volte che occorre scollegare l’apparecchio
dalla rete elettrica. L’apparecchio èequipaggiato con un cavo tipo H05VV-F di sezione
3x1,5mm2, diametro 8,5mm.Il conduttore di terra giallo-verde deve essere leggermente
piùlungo dei conduttori di fase.Prima della messa in funzione controllate che la tensione
di rete sia conforme al valore di targa degli apparecchi.
Messa in funzione e collaudo
Prima di dare tensione effettuare il riempimento della caldaia con l’acqua di rete.Tale
riempimento si effettua alimentando l’ingresso dell’acqua all’apparecchio tramite apertura
del rubinetto centrale dell’impianto domestico ed apertura di un rubinetto dell’acqua
calda fino alla fuoriuscita dell’acqua dall’apparecchio.
Verificare visivamente l’esistenza di eventuali perdite di acqua anche dalla flangia
(Ffig.11), eventualmente serrare con moderazione i relativi dadi di serraggio (Cfig.10).
Dare tensione agendo sull’interruttore.
Regolazione della temperatura di esercizio
Per i modelli non muniti di regolazione esterna il termostato si trova regolato nella
posizione di massimo; qualora si desiderasse diminuire la temperatura, per un
contenimento dei consumi, occorre disinserire l’apparecchio dalla rete elettrica, togliere
la calottina e ruotare delicatamente con un cacciavite in senso orario il pomello (Vfig.
7) del termostato. Sul pomello sono indicati con il segno +e -i riferimenti per la
regolazione.
Norme di manutenzione
Tutti gli interventi e le operazioni di manutenzione debbono essere effettuati da
personale qualificato.
Prima di chiedere comunque l’intervento dell’AssistenzaTecnica per un sospetto guasto,
verificare che il mancato funzionamento non dipenda da altre cause quali, ad esempio,
temporanea mancanza di acqua o di energia elettrica.
Eventuali sostituzione di particolari
Disinserire l’apparecchio dalla rete elettrica. Rimuovendo la calottina si puòintervenire
sulle parti elettriche (fig. 8). Per agire su termostato e scheda (fig. 9), scollegarli dal
cavo di alimentazione e rimuoverli dall’alloggiamento.Per qualsiasi intervento sull'elemento

riscaldante e sull'anodo bisogna prima svuotare l’apparecchio seguendo la seguente
procedura:
attendere il raffreddamento dell'acqua all'interno, chiudere il rubinetto centrale e
far fuoriuscire l'acqua dall'apparecchio attraverso il tubo di entrata dopo aver aperto il
rubinetto di scarico ed un rubinetto dell'acqua calda.
Svitare i 5 bulloni (Cfig.10) e togliere la flangia (Ffig. 11). Alla flangia sono accoppiate
l’elemento riscaldante e l’anodo. Durante la fase di rimontaggio fare attenzione affinché
la posizione della guarnizione della flangia, del termostato e dell’elemento riscaldante
siano quelle originali (fig. 10).Dopo ogni rimozione èconsigliabile la sostituzione della
guarnizione flangia (Zfig. 12).
Rispettare le polaritàdei collegamenti elettrici come in (fig. 10) e (fig. 13).
Manutenzioni periodiche
Per ottenere il buon rendimento dell’apparecchio èopportuno procedere alla
disincrostazione dell’elemento riscaldante (Rfig. 12) ogni due anni circa.L’operazione
si effettua sulla resistenza smontata e, se non si vogliono adoperare acidi adatti allo
scopo, puòessere effettuata sbriciolando la crosta di calcare facendo attenzione a non
danneggiare la corazza dell’elemento riscaldante.Per garantire la durata dell’apparecchio
l’anodo di magnesio (Nfig. 12) deve essere sostituito ogni due anni. Per toglierlo
bisogna smontare l’elemento riscaldante e svitarlo dalla staffa di sostegno.
Sicurezza bipolare
In caso di surriscaldamento anormale dell’acqua, un interruttore termico di sicurezza,
conforme alle norme CEI-EN, interrompe il circuito elettrico su ambedue le fasi di
alimentazione alla elemento riscaldante; in tal caso chiedere l’intervento dell’Assistenza
Tecnica.
Valvola di sicurezza
Nei modelli provvisti di valvola di sicurezza con leva, essa puòessere utilizzata,
sollevandola, per:
- svuotare l’apparecchio, se necessario,
- verificare periodicamente (ogni mese), il corretto funzionamento della valvola.
Notizie utili
In fase di riscaldamento èpossibile che all’interno dello scaldabagno si producano dei
normali rumori dovuti allo scambio di calore tra l’elemento riscaldante e l’acqua a
contatto con esso. Se dai rubinetti di utilizzo non esce acqua calda controllare che gli
allacci idrico ed elettrico siano come specificato nei relativi paragrafi, o controllare sul
termostato, dopo averlo smontato, la continuitàdelle fasi tra i morsetti ed i relativi faston.
In caso negativo èpresumibile che sia intervenuta la sicurezza bipolare (v. paragrafo
manutenzioni periodiche).Per un buon funzionamento del sistema di protezione galvanico
dello scaldacqua, la durezza permanente dell’acqua non deve essere inferiore a 12°fr.
Durante il normale funzionamento dell’apparecchio le connessioni idrauliche possono
diventare calde.

Istruzioni d’uso (utente)
1.Tasti
•Tasto On/Off ( )
Avvia/Arresta la macchina.
•Tasto Mode
Questo tasto ha due funzioni.La prima consiste nel selezionare la modalitàdesiderata:
premere il tasto brevemente e selezionare le modalitàriscaldamento istantaneo,
riscaldamento notturno, riscaldamento economico e timer. La seconda funzione èla
chiusura/apertura del blocco per i bambini.Tenere premuto questo tasto per aprire il
blocco. Premerlo nuovamente per sbloccarlo.
•Tasto di impostazione Set
Sono disponibili tre funzioni.Per avviare la prima funzione, premere brevemente il tasto
nella modalitàdefinita e poi iniziare la procedura di impostazione. Ora èpossibile
modificare i parametri di questa modalità. La seconda funzione èconfermare ogni
impostazione durante la procedura di impostazione premendo il tasto brevemente.La
terza consiste nel tenere premuto il tasto nella modalitàdefinita, per poi iniziare a
cambiare l’ora locale.
•Tasto “+/-”
Nella condizione di impostazione, aggiunge o sottrae tempo o temperatura.Selezionarlo
per attivare la funzione di mantenimento del calore durante la procedura di impostazione
in modalitàtimer intelligente.
2. Funzioni
•Protezione riscaldamento a secco intelligente
Il sistema attiva automaticamente la protezione di sicurezza in caso di riscaldamento
a secco per la sicurezza dello scaldabagno. Intanto il sistema visualizza il codice di
errore E1. In questo caso, contattare l’agenzia che fornisce assistenza a livello locale.
•Protezione surriscaldamento intelligente
Il sistema attiva automaticamente la protezione di sicurezza in caso di temperatura di
applicazione eccessiva.Lo scopo èsalvaguardare la sicurezza dello scaldabagno.
Intanto il sistema visualizza il codice di errore E2. Contattare il centro che si occupa
dei problemi di surriscaldamento a livello locale.
•Autodiagnosi intelligente
Il sistema controlla continuamente il sensore di temperatura in fase di funzionamento.
Quando viene individuato un errore nel sensore della temperatura, il sistema avvia
automaticamente la protezione di sicurezza per salvaguardare la sicurezza dello
scaldabagno. Intanto il sistema visualizza il codice di errore E3 per avvisare l’utente.
In questo caso, contattare il centro che fornisce assistenza a livello locale.
•Memoria intelligente al momento dello spegnimento
Al momento dello spegnimento il sistema registra automaticamente la modalitàdi
riscaldamento e le impostazioni presenti prima dello spegnimento.
Quando viene alimentato nuovamente, il sistema inizia automaticamente a funzionare
con le stesse condizioni che aveva prima dello spegnimento.Pertanto non ènecessario
che l’utente imposti nuovamente i parametri. Tuttavia, il sistema non èin grado di
memorizzare l’ora locale. L’utente deve quindi impostarla svolgendo le operazioni
seguenti, una volta rialimentato il sistema. Quando il sistema viene rialimentato, tutte
le diciture sullo schermo sono luminose e il sistema avvia l’impostazione dell’ora locale
automaticamente. La prima operazione èl’impostazione delle ore. L’indicazione delle

ore lampeggia:cambiare la cifra con il tasto +/-.Premere il tasto +/- una volta brevemente
per aggiungere o sottrarre 1 ora.Se il tasto +/- viene tenuto premuto, si aggiungono o
sottraggono ore automaticamente fino al rilascio del tasto stesso. Una volta definita
l’ora, premere il tasto di impostazione per confermare. Quindi impostare i minuti
(l’indicazione dei minuti lampeggia) nel modo sopra descritto. Questa operazione è
necessaria, altrimenti l’ora locale viene impostata per default alle 12:00.
•Sicurezza antigelo intelligente
Quando lo scaldabagno viene alimentato e la temperatura di applicazione èinferiore
a 5°C, il sistema riscalda l’acqua automaticamente fino al raggiungimento di una
temperatura di 15°C.Lo scopo èimpedire che lo scaldabagno sia danneggiato dal gelo.
•Blocco bambini
Indipendentemente dal fatto che la condizione dello scaldabagno sia aperta o chiusa,
tenere premuto il tasto Mode per aprire il blocco bambini. Dopo l’impostazione, tutte
le azioni non sono valide tranne quella per lo sblocco.Tenere premuto il tasto Mode per
eseguire lo sblocco.
•Timer per l’uso intelligente dell’acqua
Se l’utente seleziona il riscaldamento con timer intelligente, il sistema calcola
automaticamente il tempo di riscaldamento in modo che l’utente possa utilizzare l’acqua
calda vantaggiosamente all’ora definita.
•Mantenimento del calore intelligente
Quando lo scaldabagno funziona in modalitàtimer intelligente e se l’utente seleziona
il mantenimento del calore intelligente, il sistema riscalda l’acqua automaticamente fino
al raggiungimento di una temperatura di 50°C. In questo caso lo scaldabagno non
funziona e la temperatura di applicazione èinferiore a 45°C.Questa funzione garantisce
all’utente acqua calda e risparmio di elettricitàin maniera ottimale.
3. Istruzioni per la messa in opera
3.1 Accensione preliminare/recupero energia dopo un’interruzione
Per il collegamento preliminare, il sistema funziona nella condizione di collegamento
preliminare e tutte le diciture sullo schermo sono luminose. Iniziare ad impostare l’ora
locale.La procedura di impostazione fa riferimento alla funzione di memoria intelligente
al momento dello spegnimento. Quando l’utente ha impostato l’ora locale, il sistema
funziona in condizione di attesa.Sullo schermo èvisibile soltanto l’ora locale.Dopo che
l’utente ha premuto il tasto On/Off, il sistema funziona in condizione di accensione
preliminare e la modalitàdi riscaldamento predefinita èla modalitàistantanea. Inoltre,
la temperatura di riscaldamento predefinita èdi 70°C. Lo schermo visualizza a turno
l’ora locale, l’impostazione e la temperatura corrente.Una volta alimentato nuovamente,
il sistema funziona in condizione di recupero di energia.Tutte le diciture sullo schermo
sono illuminate.Impostare quindi l’ora locale.La procedura di impostazione fa riferimento
alla funzione di memoria intelligente dopo un’interruzione.Quando l’utente ha impostato
l’ora reale, il sistema funziona in condizione di attesa. Sullo schermo èvisibile soltanto
l’ora reale.Quando l’utente preme il tasto On/Off, il sistema funziona in condizione di
recupero di energia e attiva i parametri e la modalitàmemorizzati. Ad esempio, la
modalitàin occasione dell’ultimo spegnimento è: timer e temperatura di 60°C. Inoltre,
l’ora della prima applicazione d’acqua èdefinita alle 22:00 e della seconda alle 7:00.
Dopo il recupero di energia, il sistema continua a seguire i parametri e la modalità
indicati.
3.2Variazione della modalitàdi riscaldamento e relativa impostazione dei parametri
Premere brevemente il tasto Mode per variare la modalità. Il sistema segue il ciclo di
variazione, dalla modalitàistantanea alla modalitànotte alla modalitàeconomica fino

alla modalitàcon timer intelligente per poi tornare alla modalitàistantanea. Il sistema
fornisce all’utente indicazioni sull’impostazione dei parametri specifici per ogni modalità.
L’utente puòeseguire le impostazioni in base alle indicazioni.
3.2.1 Impostazione parametri modalitàriscaldamento istantaneo
Premere il tasto Mode e passare dalla modalitàcon timer intelligente alla modalità
riscaldamento istantaneo.Sullo schermo saràvisibile l’impostazione della temperatura
presente l’ultima volta, che lampeggia. L’impostazione predefinita delle temperatura
preliminare èdi 70°C. L’impostazione lampeggia per ricordare all’utente l’eventuale
necessitàdi modificare la temperatura di riscaldamento in questa modalità. Se questa
operazione ènecessaria, premere il tasto +/-.Premere brevemente il tasto +/- una volta
per aggiungere o sottrarre 1°C. Se il tasto +/- viene tenuto premuto, si aumenta o
diminuisce la temperatura di riscaldamento automaticamente fino al rilascio del tasto
stesso. L’intervallo di regolazione della temperatura èdi 40-75°C. Una volta modificata
la temperatura, premere il tasto di impostazione oppure non eseguire alcuna operazione
per 10 secondi per confermare l’impostazione.Se non occorre modificare la temperatura
di riscaldamento, l’utente non compie alcuna operazione e il sistema avvia la modalità
di riscaldamento istantaneo entro 10 secondi. Per modificare l’impostazione della
temperatura in modalitàdi riscaldamento istantaneo, èsufficiente premere il tasto di
impostazione e avviare la procedura di modifica della temperatura. Modificare la
temperatura secondo la descrizione precedente.
3.2.2 Impostazione parametri modalitàriscaldamento notturno
Premere il tasto Mode e passare dalla modalitàdi riscaldamento istantaneo alla modalità
di riscaldamento notturno.Sullo schermo saràvisibile l’impostazione della temperatura
presente l’ultima volta, che lampeggia. L’impostazione predefinita della temperatura
preliminare èdi 70°C. L’impostazione lampeggia per ricordare all’utente l’eventuale
necessitàdi modificare la temperatura di riscaldamento in questa modalità. Se questa
operazione ènecessaria, l’utente puòmodificare la temperatura come per la modalità
di riscaldamento istantaneo.L’intervallo di regolazione della temperatura èdi 40-75°C.
Una volta modificata la temperatura, premere il tasto di impostazione oppure non
eseguire alcuna operazione per 10 secondi per confermare l’impostazione. Se non è
necessario modificare la temperatura di riscaldamento, l’utente non compie alcuna
operazione e il sistema avvia la modalitàdi riscaldamento notturno entro 10 secondi.
Per modificare l’impostazione della temperatura in modalitàdi riscaldamento notturno,
èsufficiente premere il tasto di impostazione e avviare la procedura di modifica della
temperatura.Modificare la temperatura secondo la descrizione precedente.
3.2.3 Modalitàriscaldamento economico
Se l’utente seleziona la modalitàdi riscaldamento economico, non deve impostare alcun
parametro. Il sistema riscalderàl’acqua a 60°C come nel riscaldamento istantaneo e
manterràquesta temperatura.
3.2.4 Modalitàriscaldamento con timer intelligente
Premere il tasto Mode e passare dalla modalitàriscaldamento economico alla modalità
di riscaldamento con timer intelligente.Sullo schermo saràvisibile l’impostazione dell’ora
presente l’ultima volta, che lampeggia. (Valore preliminare predefinito 7:00). Intanto
lampeggia l’indicazione temporale "1", che fornisce suggerimenti all’utente
sull’impostazione dell’ora della prima applicazione d’acqua. Premere brevemente il
tasto +/- una volta per aumentare/diminuire l’ora dell’applicazione d’acqua di mezz’ora.
Una volta terminata l’impostazione dell’ora della prima applicazione d’acqua, premere
il tasto di impostazione per confermare. Il sistema memorizza l’impostazione, quindi
passa al parametro successivo, ad es. l’impostazione della temperatura della prima

applicazione.Sullo schermo saràvisibile la temperatura di applicazione presente l’ultima
volta, che lampeggia.(Valore preliminare predefinito 70°C.) Impostare la temperatura
di applicazione come per la modalitàdi riscaldamento immediato. Premere il tasto di
impostazione per confermare, una volta portata a termine l’impostazione. Il sistema
memorizza l’impostazione, quindi passa al parametro successivo, ad es. l’impostazione
della temperatura della seconda applicazione. Sullo schermo saràvisibile l’impostazione
dell’ora presente l’ultima volta, che lampeggia. (Valore preliminare predefinito 21.00).
Intanto lampeggia l’indicazione temporale "2".Impostare il tempo secondo la descrizione
fornita. Una volta terminata l’impostazione della seconda ora dell’applicazione d’acqua,
premere il tasto di impostazione per confermare. Il sistema memorizza l’impostazione,
quindi passa al parametro successivo, ad es. l’impostazione della temperatura della
seconda applicazione.(Valore preliminare predefinito 70°C.)Viene visualizzata la stessa
immagine.Impostare la temperatura secondo la descrizione fornita in precedenza. Una
volta terminata l’impostazione della seconda temperatura dell’applicazione, premere
il tasto di impostazione per confermare.Il sistema seleziona la conservazione intelligente
dell’energia. Sullo schermo saràvisibile la selezione presente l’ultima volta, che
lampeggia. (La condizione predefinita èl’abilitazione.) Premere il tasto "+" per abilitare
la conservazione intelligente dell’energia. Premere il tasto "-" per disabilitare la
conservazione intelligente dell’energia.Dopo l’impostazione, premere il tasto Set affinché
il sistema memorizzi l’impostazione. Quindi si esce dalla procedura di impostazione.
Nota: a. Per qualsiasi impostazione, se l’utente non effettua alcuna operazione entro
10 secondi, il sistema mantiene l’impostazione precedente.Quindi si esce dalla procedura
di impostazione.Il sistema entra nella modalitàcon timer intelligente.
b. Esistono due timer e l’utente puòannullare quello che vuole. Premere i tasti +/-
contemporaneamente per 3 secondi per impostare una determinata ora di applicazione
dell’acqua. L’utente ora puòannullare il timer corrispondente. Non occorre impostare
la relativa temperatura di applicazione.Oppure l’utente puòimpostare la stessa ora per
due applicazioni d’acqua per annullare una delle due.
4. Modifica dell’ora locale
Per modificare l’ora locale tenere premuto il tasto di impostazione. Il sistema rende
possibile modificare l’ora locale.Modificare l’ora locale come per la funzione di memoria
intelligente dopo un’interruzione.
Pulizia
Per la pulizia dell'apparecchio impiegare acqua calda e detersivi liquidi privi di ammoniaca
o sostanze alcoliche, in modo da non danneggiare le superfici.
Attenzione: l’uso di detersivi in polvere puòcausare graffi alle superfici
dell’apparecchio.
I dati e le caratteristiche indicate, non impegnano la Ditta costruttrice, che si

For this very reason, we recommend you connect this drain, leaving it always open, to
a drain pipe installed inclined continuously downwards and in a place without condensation.
Should the mains supply pressure be close to the maximum pressure value indicated
on the data plate, then a pressure reducing valve should be fitted as far away from the
appliance as possible. Should you decide to install the mixer assemblies (taps and
fittings or shower), make sure the piping is cleared of any impurities that could cause
damage.
Electrical connection
The appliance must be connected to the mains electricity supply by means of a differential
bipolar thermo-magnetic switch (30 mA) complying with the CEI-EN regulations in force
(contact break of at least 3 mm, even better if they are provided with fuses), or by means
of a plug.
Whenever the appliance needs to be disconnected from the mains electricity supply,
then use this switch to do so.The appliance is equipped with a H05VV-F cable with a
3x1,5mm2cross-section, 8.5mm in diameter. The yellow-green earth wire must be
slightly longer than the phase wires.Before putting the appliance into operation, check
that the mains voltage conforms to the value on the appliance's data plate.
Putting into operation and testing
Before connecting the appliance to the electricity supply, fill the boiler up with water
from the mains supply. To do this, allow water to enter the appliance by opening the
main tap of your home system while at the same time turning a hot water tap on until
water comes out from it.
Check to see whether there are any water leaks from the flange (Ffig.11).If there are
any, then tighten in moderation the corresponding fixing nuts (Cfig. 10). Turn the
appliance on by pressing the switch.
Maintenance instructions
A qualified professional must perform all maintenance and servicing operations.
Before calling on our Technical Assistance for a suspected failure, make sure that the
malfunction is not due to other causes such as, for example, the temporary lack of water
or of electricity.
The replacement of any spare parts
Disconnect the appliance from the mains electricity supply. Remove the cap to have
access to the electrical parts (fig. 8).
To act on the thermostat and power PCB (fig.9), disconnect them from the supply cable
and remove them from their housing.
For any servicing of the heating element and anode, first of all empty the appliance of
its contents as follows:

wait for the water within it to cool down, close the main tap and let the water flow
out of the appliance through the inlet pipe after having opened the drain tap as well
as a hot water tap.
Unscrew the 5 bolts (Cfig.10) and remove the flange (Ffig.11).The heating element
and the anode are connected to the flange.When reassembling, make sure that the
position of the flange gasket, of the thermostat and of the heating element are the
original ones (fig. 10). After each removal, we advise you to replace the flange gasket
(Zfig.12).
Make sure you respect the polarity of the electrical connections as in (fig.10) and
(fig.13).
Periodical maintenance
For a good and efficient output of your appliance, you should remove the limescale built
up on the heating element (Rfig.12) about every two years.This operation should be
carried out on the dismounted heating element and, if you do not want to use purpose-
made acids, this can be done by breaking up the calcareous incrustation, taking care
not to damage the protective layer of the heating element.To guarantee the long life
of your appliance, the magnesium anode (Nfig.12) must be replaced every other
year.To remove it, take out the heating element and unscrew it from the supporting
bracket.
Bipolar safety device
In the event of abnormal overheating of the water, a thermal safety switch, complying
with CEI-EN regulations, shuts off the electric circuit on both the phases supplying the
heating element; in this case, call for Technical Assistance.
Safety valve
In those models equipped with a safety valve with a lever, the latter can be used, by
lifting it up, to:
- empty out the appliance, if necessary,
- check on a regular basis (every month) that the valve is operating correctly.
Handy tips
Upon heating, you may hear some normal sounds within the water heater that are due
to the heat exchange between the heating element and the water touching it. If hot
water does not come out of the utilisation taps, check that the water and electricity
connections have been carried out as specified in the corresponding paragraphs, or
after having dismounted the thermostat, check the continuity of the phases between
the terminals and the relative fastons. If this is not the case, the bipolar safety device
could have come into operation (see the paragraph on periodical maintenance).For the
water heater's galvanic protection system to function properly, the permanent hardness
of the water should not be less than 12°French hardness degrees.During the normal
functioning of the appliance, the water connections could become hot.

Instructions for use (user)
1. Buttons
• On/Off button ( )
Turn on/turn off the machine.
• Mode button
This button affords two functions.One is to select the required mode.Press this button
for short term and select immediate heating mode, night heating mode, economic mode
and timing mode.The second function is to open and close childrenlock. Press this
button for long term just to open children-lock.Re-press this button to release children-
lock.
• Set button
Three functions are available.One is to press this button for short term at definite mode.
Then setting process starts. Now you can change parameters under this mode.The
second is to confirm each setting during setting process by pressing this button for short
term.The third is to press this button for long term at definite mode.Then start modifying
local time.
•“+/-” button
In the setting condition, add or deduct time or temperature.Select it to work keep warm
function during setting process at the intelligent timing mode.
2. Functions
• Intelligent dry heating protection
System automatically works the safety protection upon occurrence of dry heating to for
safety of water heater. Meanwhile system will show E1 error code. If it exists, please
contact local service agency.
• Intelligent over heating protection
System automatically works the safety protection upon occurrence of excess application
temperature.The purpose is to protect safety of water heater. Meanwhile system will
show E2 error code. Please contact local over heating sections.
• Intelligent self-check
System makes unintermitted check on the temperature sensor in the working situation.
As temperature sensor is founded error, system automatically works the safety protection
to protect safety of water heater. Meanwhile system will show E3 error code to give
user hint. If it exists, please contact local after-sales sections.
• Intelligent power-off memory
As power off, system automatically records heating mode and settings prior to power
off.When it is re-energized, system works on conditions same as that prior to power
off automatically.Therefore it is no need for user to set parameters once more.However
system cannot memorize local time. It is necessary for user to define local time in
following order after system is re-energized. As system is re-energized, all marks on
the screen are bright and system works local time setting automatically. First step is
to set hour. Hour indication blinks then change hour figure with +/- button. Press +/-
button once for short term thereafter add or deduct one hour.If press +/- button for long
term, add or deduct hour figures automatically till the button is released. After user
finishes defining hour figure, press down set button to confirm.Then set minute and
minute indication blinks. Set minute in the manner same as mentioned.This operation
is necessary otherwise default local time is 12:00.

•Intelligent anti-freezing safety
As water heater is energized and application temperature is lower than 5°C, system
heats water automatically till temperature reaches to 15°C.The purpose is to prevent
heater from freezing damage.
•Children-lock
No matter heater is in Open or Close situation, press the mode button for long term to
open children-lock.After setting, all actions are invalid except for releasing childrenlock.
Re-press the mode button for long term for unlocking.
•Intelligent water-application timing
If user selects intelligent timing heating, system automatically calculates heating time
so that user can apply favorably hot water at defined water-application time.
•Intelligent keep warm
As water heater works at intelligent timing mode and if user selects intelligent keep
warm, system automatically heats water till temperature reaches to 50°C in that case
water heater does not run and application temperature is lower than 45°C.The function
can guarantee user favorably hot water and save electricity to the extreme extent.
3. Handling introduction
3.1 Preliminary power on / power recovery after failure
For preliminary plug in, system works at the preliminary plug in status and all marks
on the screen are bright.Then start setting local time.Setting method refers to intelligent
power-off memory function. As user finishes local time setting, system works at the
waiting status.Screen only displays local time.After user presses down On/ Off button,
system works at the preliminary power on status and default heating mode is instant
mode.In addition default heating temperature is 70°C.Screen displays local time, setting
and current temperature by turns. After it is re-energized, system works at the power
recovery status. All marks on the screen are bright.Thereafter work local time setting.
Setting method refers to intelligent power-failure memory function. As user finishes real
time setting, system works at the waiting status.Screen only displays real time.As user
presses down On/ Off button, system works at the power-recovery status and runs
memorized mode and parameters.For example, mode for last power-off is timing and
temperature is 60°C. In addition first water-application time is defined 10:00pm and
second time is 7:00am. After power recovery, system still follows mentioned mode and
parameters.
3.2 Shift of heating mode and relative parameters setting
Press down the mode button for short term just for mode shift. System follows the shift
cycle, instant heating mode to night mode to economic mode to intelligent timing mode
back to instant mode. And system gives user hint to set parameters special to each
mode.User can implement setting as per hints.
3.2.1 Set parameters of instant heating mode
Press down mode button and change from intelligent timing mode to instant heating
mode. Screen shows temperature setting for last time by blinking. Preliminary default
temperature setting is 70°C. Blinking reminds user whether it is necessary to change
heating temperature on this mode. If it is required, user can press down +/- button.
Press +/- button once for short term thereafter add or deduct 1°C. If press +/- button
for long term, add or deduct heating temperature automatically till the button is released.
Temperature regulating range is 40-75°C.After user finishes temperature change, press
down set button, or carry on no action within 10seconds, for confirming setting. If it is
not necessary to change heating temperature, user does not act and system enters

into instant heating mode in 10seconds. If user needs to change temperature setting
under instant heating mode, simply press down set button and enter into temperature
change process.Change the temperature as mentioned.
3.2.2 Set parameters of night heating mode
Press down the mode button and change from instant heating mode to night heating
mode. Screen shows temperature setting for last time by blinking. Preliminary default
temperature setting is 70C. Blinking reminds user whether it is necessary to change
heating temperature on this mode.If it is required, user can change the temperature
as per instant heating mode.Temperature regulating range is 40-75C.After user finishes
temperature change, press down set button, or carry on no action within 10seconds,
for confirming setting. If it is not necessary to change heating temperature, user does
not act and system enters into night heating mode in 10seconds. If user needs to change
temperature setting at the night heating mode, simply press down set button and enter
into temperature change process.Change the temperature as mentioned.
3.2.3 Economic heating mode
If user selects economic heating mode, it is not required to set any parameter. System
heats water to 60C in the manner of instant heating and maintain the temperature.
3.2.4 Intelligent timing heating mode
Press down mode button and change from economic heating mode to intelligent timing
heating mode.Screen shows time setting for last time by blinking.(Preliminary default
value is 7:00.) Meanwhile timing indication "1" blinks, giving user hint to set first
waterapplication time.Press down +/- button once for short term and water-application
time increases/ reduces 0.5hour.Press down set button for confirmation when user
finishes setting first water-application time.And system memorizes the setting thereafter
enters into successive parameter, i.e.setting first application temperature.Screen shows
application temperature for last time by blinking. (Preliminary default value is 70C. )
Set application temperature as per immediate heating mode.Press down set button for
confirmation when user finishes setting. And system memorizes the setting thereafter
enters into successive parameter, i.e. setting second water-application time. Screen
shows time setting for last time by blinking.(Preliminary default value is 21:00.) Meanwhile
timing indication "2" blinks.Set time as mentioned.Press down set button for confirmation
when user finishes setting second water-application time. And system memorizes the
setting thereafter enters into successive parameter, i.e. setting second application
temperature. (Preliminary default value is 70C.) Screen shows same as mentioned.
And set temperature as before.
Press down set button for confirmation when user finishes setting second application
temperature.And system selects intelligent keep warm. Screen shows selection for last
time by blinking.(Default status is open.) Press down "+" button to open intelligent
warm. Press down "-" button to close intelligent keep warm. After
set button and system memorizes setting. setting, press down Then setting process exits.
Note: a. For any setting, if user does not act within 10seconds, system still maintains
prior setting. Setting process exists.System enters into intelligent timing mode.
b. There are two timing, user can cancel any one. Press down +/- button at the same
time for 3seconds when to set certain water-application time.Then user can cancel
corresponding timing. And it is not required to set relevant application temperature.Or
user can set the same time for two water applications to cancel one timing.

4. Change local time
If user demands to change local time, press down set button for long term. System
works to change of local time.Change the local time in the manner same as intelligent
power-failure memory.
Cleaning
To clean the appliance, use hot water and liquid detergents that do not contain ammonia
or alcoholic substances, so as not to damage the surfaces.
Warning: theuse of powder detergents could cause the surfaces of the appliance
to become scratched.
