measurementsthatweregivenatthetimeof
order(A).Laythecurbsondropclothorcarpet
topreventscratching.Assemblethetwopieces
ofcurbonthefloorusingtheZH9090degree
cornerclip(#20)andthe#8X1/4”HeaderCurb
BracketScrews(#21).Asthecurbsarelying
openenddown,placetheZH90clipontothe
cornerandalignthemiters,cornerbracket,and
holes.Fastenthecornertogetherwiththe
#8x1/4”screws(B).Nowplacetheassembled
Curbpiecesinthecenterlinepositiononthe
shower.Makesuretofillthecornerwherethe
screwswereinsertedandtheendswithsilicone
soastosealanygapsthatmightleak(C).







Pleasereadthroughalloftheinstructionstogetanover‐viewbeforeyouinstalltheshowerdoor.



2)PlaceaWallJambZD‐1006(#3)againstthe
wallanddownintotheCurb.Usealeveltopo‐
sitionthejambplumb,thenmarktheinstalla‐
tionholeswithapenorpencil(D).Repeatthis
procedurefortheotherjamb.Nowdrillthe6
holeswitha3/16”masonrybit(9/64”forfiber‐
glass,&withoutanchors).Theninsertthe6)‐
ZV935screwanchors(#15)intheholes.Fasten
theZD‐1006walljambsinplaceusingthe#8X1‐
1/4PhillipsPanHeadscrewsprovided(#14).
Fillthecornerwithsiliconeontheinsideofthe
ZSS‐2101toprotectagainstwaterleaks(E).

3)PlacetwoSettingBlocksZV902(#13)into
theCurbonthesidewhereyourpanelwillbe.
InserttheGlassintotheZSS‐2101Curbandthe
ZD‐1006WallJamb.SetyourZSS‐110490˚De‐
greePost(#19)downintothecurbandoverthe
edgeoftheglass(F).

4)PlumbtheZSS‐1104Cornerpostthenmeas‐
urefromthewallabovetheZD‐1006walljamb,
overtotheoutsidecorneroftheplumbedZSS‐
1104.Add1/4”tothemeasurementthencut
theZSS‐2101.Followthesameprocedurefor
theotherheader(G).Assemblethetwopieces
ofheaderonthefloorusingtheZH9090degree
cornerclip(#20)andthe#8X1/4”HeaderCurb
BracketScrews(#21).Astheheadersarelying
openenddown,placetheZH90clipontothe
cornerandalignthemiters,cornerbracket,and
holes.Fastenthecornertogetherwiththe
#8x1/4”screws(referto(B)).Nowplacethe
assembledheaderoveranddownontothe
threeverticalposts.Securetheheaderand
posts.Drilla1/8”holeontheinsidethroughthe
ZSS‐2101headerintotheZD‐1006andalso
throughtheZSS‐2101Headerintothe90Post













































(thesidethatisNOTholdingtheglass).Also,on
theinside,drillthroughtheZSS‐2101Curbinto
the90Post.Runthe#6X3/8”screwsintothe
holes(#16).(H).InserttheZV909WedgeVinyl
(#18)intothejambsonbothsidesoftheglass.
Ablockofwoodwillhelppushthevinylin.
Slightlywetthevinylwithwatertoeaseinstall.
Theflatsidegoesagainsttheglass.Noticethe
groovethatwilllockintotheedgeofthewall
jamb(I).InserttheZV906HorizontalWedge
Vinyl(#17)inbetweenthemetalandglass
withoutstretchingit,bothinsideandout,top
andbottom.Noticethelockinggroove(J).

5)NowyouneedtocuttheSnapInFillersZSS‐
1102(#4).Thereareanumberofwaystocalcu‐
latethesizeoftheZSS‐1102.Thissimplemeth‐
odwillworkforstandardwidthaswellascus‐
tom.Measuretheoverallwidthofthedoor.
ThisistheoutsideedgeoftheZD‐2505Atothe
outsideedgeoftheglass.Takethatdimension
andsubtract1/4”andthatdimensionwillbe
yoursnapinsize(K).Forexample,iftheoverall
widthofthedooris29‐3/4”thenthesnapin
sizeis29‐1/2”.SnapthefillersintotheZSS‐
2101’stopandbottom.Thereisasmalllipon
thefiller.Thisfacestotheoutsideoftheunit
(L).

6)Hangthedoor.SlidetheZD‐8004Magnetic
LatchJamb(#11)overthelatchsidewalljamb.
InstallthedoorbyslidingtheZD‐2505ADoor
HingeJamb(#5)overthehingesidewalljamb.
Donotfastenthedooratthispoint(M).
















































7)Inspectandfitthemagneticstriptofigure
outthesidethatwillattractandnotrepel.In‐
stallthesidethatrepelsagainstthehighbond
tapethatyouwillinstall.Attachthefulllength
ZV987MagneticStripbyapplyingtheclearhigh
bondtapealongtheinsideofthedoorand
aligningitwiththeedgeoftheglass,insetting
about1/16”.Putitonallthewaydownuntilit
touchestheZD‐1002.Cutherethenremove
protectivelayerofftape.Applythemagnetic
striptothetapeinthesamefashionbygradual‐
lyunrollinguntilitreachesthebottomrail.Cut
tofit(N).

8)Note:(Itwillbehelpfultohaveanassistant
atthispointtoadjustandholdthedoorinplace
fromtheoutsidewhileyoudrillandfastenthe
latchjambandthehingejambfromtheinside).
Squareupthedoorandalignthetwomagnetic
stripsuntiltheymakeastrongseal.Attachthe
doorbydrillingthesixholesontheinsideofthe
unitwherethejambsarepre‐drilledusingan
1/8”drillbitandsecurewiththe6‐#6X3/8”Pan
Headscrews(#8)(O).

9)AttachtheASD8X8Handle(#28).Takethe
twostudheadmountingscrewsandsleeveone
clearwasheroneachscrew.Next,insertthe
cleargrommetsintotheholesinthedoor.From
theoutsideofthedoor,pushthethreadofthe
screwsthroughthegrommetsintheholesin
theglass.Ontheinsideofthedoor,sleevea
clearwasherontothescrews.Takethepullthat
hasthethreadedholeintheendandbeginto
threadthetopscrewintoitandthenthebot‐
tomscrew.Tightenthestudheadscrewsdown
withascrewdriver(notadrill).Thispullwillbe
ontheinsideofthedoor.Placetheremaining
pull,withthelargeholesandsetscrew,onto














































thestudheadsofthescrews.Tightentheset
screwswithAllenwrenchprovided(P).

10)AdjustZD2008DripTrough(#12)ondoor
toslopetowardsthehinge(Q).

11)Runabeadofsiliconeonthegapbetween
themetalandtheshowersurfaceinsideand
outaroundtheentireunit.Fillalljointsand
gapswheremetalmeetsmetalandfillwitha
finebead(R).












