ARU Med Non-Contact Infrared Thermometer helps to measure the
accurate temperature without touching the body. It has a digital
display with fast measurement of approx 3 sec. And can be used to
measure the temperature of food, A.c. Units, machinery, engines,
water etc. Equipped with button to switch between ℉ to ℃ & backlit

Scope of Application:
1. The body temperature of the measured object is displayed by measuring the
thermal radiation on the forehead of the human body in the body temperature mode.
2. In the temperature mode can be measured baby milk temperature, bath water
temperature, object temperature, air temperature and other environment that needs
to test the temperature.
Quick use:
(1) The machine is powered by two AA alkaline batteries.
(2) The temperature can be measured after the newbattery isput incorrectly for the
first use.
(3) The front of the thermometer is aimed at the forehead, 3 ~ 5cm away, and make
sure there is no hair, sweat, makeup or hat cover, then press the measuring switch to
start measuring.
(4) When ambient temperature changes affect the forehead temperature or forehead
sweating, please measure after the earlobe is aligned, and please ensure that there
is no hair, sweat, makeup or hat cover.
Note: The temperature values measured will vary according to the skin color,
thickness, body parts and the environmental temperature changes, which is normal,
because the exposed body parts are more affected by the environmental
temperature.

Prompt Function When the operating range of ambient temperature exceeds 16℃~
35℃, the thermometer should prompt Err or stop providing the
temperature value.
In temperature mode, if the measured temperature is lower than 35.0℃,
"Lo" will be displayed.If the temperature is higher than 38.1℃, the "Hi"
signal will be displayed.

Proper use:
1. Preventive Inspection:
1) Check the forehead thermometer before measurement, check the function of each part, and keep the good
performance of the forehead thermometer.
2) Keep the power supply adequate.
3) After the product is packed, it is allowed to be transported by the commonly used means of transport, but it
should avoid the rain, dampness and mechanical collision of the extrusion box.
2. Unpacking:
Open the color box of product packaging, take out the plastic box with the forehead thermometer, then open the
plastic box and take out the forehead thermometer.
3. Battery Installation or Replacement
(1) Open the battery cover and replace the battery. Pay attention to the correct position of positive and negative
electrodes.

(2) Please do not use rechargeable batteries, should use disposable batteries, try to use
alkaline batteries.
(3) Thestatic current is very small when the instrument is not working, but when it is not used for a
long time, it is recommended to take out the battery to avoid battery leakage and damage the
product.
The instrument USES 3V manganese or alkaline dry battery (Two AA alkaline batteries), which can be
used for more than 1000 times in a row under normal circumstances. When the screen is fully displayed
on the upper right or the button has no function, the battery is insufficient and the battery needs to
be replaced as soon as possible.
Matters needing
attention
1. When opening the battery cover to replace the battery, pay attention to the
positive and negative electrodes of the battery. Please take out the battery
immediately after using it.
2. When not used for a long time, please take out the battery to prevent damage
to the thermometer due to battery leakage
3. Do not use the battery when it is leaking or mildew
4. Do not put the battery close to the ignition source or into the fire to avoid
battery explosion
5. Do not store the battery in high temperature or high humidity
6. In order to avoid short circuit, do not put the battery in the same pocket with
COINS or keys or other metal objects or other containers that may short-circuit
the battery.
4. Steps
(1) When the forehead thermometer is in the temperature measurement mode, press and hold
the power button to start the machine, the instrument will be fully self-check, the backlight will be
green, the buzzer will ring, and the full self-check will be displayed (figure 3). After the full display,
the current measured temperature will be displayed.
7. In case the electrolyte in the battery accidentally gets into the eye, rinse
immediately with plenty of water.If there is a risk of injury such as blindness, you
should immediately go to the nearest hospital for treatment.
8. In case the electrolyte in the battery accidentally gets on the skin or clothes,
rinse immediately with plenty of water, otherwise it may damage the skin.

(2) This product measurement without direct contact with the patient, please choose before
measurement mode, press the set key can select the surface temperature and temperature model,
temperature model, please see to it that the temperature sensor and forehead vertical distance of 3
~ 5 cm (figure 4), but the hand press the measure button, the measurement is complete, a buzzer
rang, and the results will be displayed (figure 5), each an effective measurement counter will
increase 1, if the measurement result is "L0" or "HI", it is called a invalid measurement, measuring
temperature is low, LO said HI said measuring temperature is too high.

(3) In normal test mode, click the "set" button to switch the surface temperature and temperature
test modes.
(4) In normal test mode, click the volume button to display OFF the alarm sound and ON the alarm
sound.
(5) In the normal test mode, click the memory key to query the stored measurement data. 1 is the
temperature data of the latest measurement and a total of 50 sets of measurement data can be
stored.
(6) In normal test mode, long press the setting key to display F1, then display unit to enter the
conversion of Celsius and Fahrenheit temperature units, click the volume button to display the
Celsius unit, and click the memory key to select the Fahrenheit unit.

(7) In the normal test mode, long press the setting key to display F1, continue to press the setting
key to display F2, then enter the alarm temperature numerical setting, click the volume key to
increase the value, click the memory key to decrease the value, the highest is 42.1 ℃, the lowest is
32.9 ℃, long press to continuously increase and decrease the value.
(8) Normal test mode, long press the set key, according to F1, continue to set key, click both
showed the F3, enter the test temperature compensation value set at this time, click the volume
increase numerical keys, click reduce numerical memory key, the machine factory has strict
measurement and calibration, if you need to adjust the compensation data, please cooperate with
professional equipment in operation, otherwise may cause equipment testing is not allowed.
(9) The product is set to sleep with less power. If there is no operation for 10S, the LED backlight will
be off. If no operation is carried out for the instrument within 20 seconds, it will automatically shut
down (figure 6).

1. Please read the instruction carefully before use
2. The ambient temperature of the product is from 16℃to 35℃, and the optimal
temperature is 25℃
3. Please do not use the product in an environment higher than 40℃or lower than 10℃.
4. Please do not put the product too close to electrified objects to avoid electric shock
5. Please do not use this product in the environment with relative humidity greater than
85%
6. Please do not put the product too close to the electromagnetic range (such as radio,
mobile phone, etc.)
7. Please do not expose the product to the sun or near the stove, and do not touch the
water
8. Please do not hit or drop the product. If it is damaged, please do not use it.
9. Hair on the forehead, sweat, a hat or scarf can affect the accuracy of the
measurements.
10. Please make sure the measuring distance is no greater than 10cm.
11. In order to obtain accurate, stable and reliable measurement data, the product
should be placed indoors for 15-20 minutes before use when the room temperature
changes greatly.
12. Please do not measure when forehead temperature cannot reflect body temperature
due to sweating or other reasons.
13. When cleaning is required, please wipe the surface of the instrument with alcohol.
14. If there is a problem with the product, please contact the distributor and do not
attempt to repair it yourself.
5. Clinical Accuracy:
This product is suitable for temperature test of people aged from 0 to 65 years old.
The body temperature measured by different people of the tested subjects will vary, for specific
differences, please refer to the following table:

Note: It is not unusual for temperature values to vary according to skin color,
thickness, body parts, and ambient temperature.The reason is that the more
exposed the body parts are more affected by the environmental temperature.
Statement:
The clinical accuracy or clinical deviation of the thermometer has been clinically verified, and its safety and

Contraindications, precautions, warnings and suggestive instructions
1. The Contraindications
(1) Thereis no standard body temperature. Consult your doctor if you have a fever.
(2) patients with coma and terminal stage.
2. Precautions
(1) Thisproduct is a professional medical infrared forehead thermometer for measuring human body temperature.
According to the difference of human skin, the measured temperature will be different.
(2) Whenthe room temperature changes greatly, the medical infrared forehead thermometer should be placed in
the room for 20 minutes before use.
(3) When the tested person comes from a place where there is a big difference with the measured ambient
temperature, he should stay in the test environment for at least 5 minutes, and then be measured after the
temperature is consistent with the ambient temperature.
(4) Thesurrounding environment of the tested person should be stable, and the test should not be conducted in
places with large airflow such as fans and air vents of air conditioners.
(5) The instrument should not be used outdoors or in places with strong sunlight.
(6) Donot hold the front end of the thermometer by hand when measuring.
(7) Themeasuring area shall not be covered by hair.If there are sweat stains, please clean them with a dry towel
and measure them. Otherwise, the measurement results will be affected.
(8) Fever patients with cold forehead, sweating and other cooling measures will make the measurement results
low, should be avoided in this case.
(9) Whenusing the product, please keep away from the high-voltage equipment and signal transmitter to avoid the
danger of interference and wrong action.
(10) This thermometer has sensitive electronic components, so do not in the environment with strong
electromagnetic interference (such as: mobile power, microwave, etc.) directly use the thermometer, because it is
likely to lead to accuracy distortion.
(11) Do not replace the original parts with parts not provided by the manufacturer. If the original parts are replaced
with parts not provided by the manufacturer or the machine is dismantled by itself, measurement errors and
