is one of those offered to you to make life easier for you.
In order to obtain utmost output from your appliance, please read carefully this
user’s manual and save it for further use.
IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using an electric appliance the basic safety measures should always be
observed.
• This appliance is intended to be used in
household and similar applications such as:
- Staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and
other working environments;
- Farm houses;
• By clients in hotels, motels and other
residential type environments;
• Bed and breakfast type environments.

• This appliance can be used by children aged
from 8 years and above and persons with
reducedphysical,sensoryormentalcapabilities
or lack of experience and knowledge if they
have been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance in a safe way
and understand the hazards involved. Children
shall not play with the appliance.Cleaning
and user maintenance shall not be made by

any failures owing to any discrepancy and such failures shall not be covered by the
guarantee.
•Yourdeviceisforhouseholduseonly.Donotuseoutdoorsforcommercialor
industrial purposes.
•Keepyourapplianceawayfromandoutofreachofthechildren.
• Plug your device to a grounded socket without fail. To prevent harming your
appliance do not use extension cords that supply insufficient current. When using
extension cords, make sure to use grounded socket, with the cable cross section
of 1mm2.
•DonotplacetheArzum Çaycý Tea Maker over or near direct heat sources such
as a stove, heating oven, etc.
•Ensurethattheapplianceisplacedonafirmandflatsurface.Donotputitonthe
edgeofatableorbench.Theleastbloworknockmayoverturnit.Donotforget
that it may be full of hot water.
•Donotletcordhangoveredgeoftablecounterortouchanyotherappliances.
•Avoidactionsthatmayharmordamagethecordorplugofyourdevice.Donot
carry your appliance by holding from the cord. To unplug the tea maker, hold the
plug and NEVER pull by the cord.
• Never interfere with your appliance except for the purposes of cleaning and
maintenance.Donotoperateanyappliancewithadamagedcordorplugorafter
the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner, such as by dropping
down, etc. Do not attempt to repair it by yourself. Call immediately an Arzum
Authorized Service.
• Always hold your appliance by its handle, since its
outer surface may be hot.
• Unplug from outlet when not in use and before
cleaning. Allow it to cool down before cleaning the
appliance.
• The appliance will pass to the position keeping the
water warm (for energy saving) automatically when the
water reaches boiling. However, in order to switch off
the appliance completely turns the main switch to the
position “0”, i.e. off.,
•Avoidcontactwithsteamtobeejectedfromspout
when the water is boiling, and do not let children to use
the appliance.
•ThemainswitchMUST be in the position “0”, when
the kettle is empty or
when not in use.
•AteapotMUST be placed on the kettle device, when
the boiling switch of your Arzum Çaycý Tea Maker is on . Otherwise, your appliance
will be delayed to pass to the energy saving position, even when the water is boiling.
•NEVER immerse the kettle and power base unit in water or other liquids, nor
wash in a dishwasher, nor use in bathroom or any other places with a high rate of
moisture.
•Whenfillingwithwaterremovetheappliancefromitspowerbaseunit.
•NEVER put anything into the kettle other than water.

•NEVER leave the power base unit and electrical connection ends of your device
in a damp state. If wetted, unplug before drying and no not operate your appliance
before having it dried completely.
GENERAL INFORMATION (BEFORE USE)
• Your Arzum Çaycý Tea Maker is a very practical appliance designed to steep
classical tea.
•Yourapplianceboilswaterwithinashortperiodoftimeandpassesautomatically
to the position keeping the water warm, decreasing the energy consumption at a
rate of 90%.
• This position allows you to boil the water at minimum level, thus not only
preventing unnecessary vaporization, but also ensuring to keep the tea contained in
the teapot hot on a continuous basis and to provide energy savings.
•Theappliancewillpasstothepositionkeepingthewaterwarm(forenergysaving)
automatically when the water reaches boiling. However, in order to switch off the
appliance completely turn the main switch to the position “0”, i.e. off “0”.
•Inordertoensureboilingattheshortest,reboilingswitchissettotheposition
“on” when some water is added to the kettle.
• When the water is boiling, the heating decreases again automatically to the
minimum level, keeping the temperature of the water stable.
• The kettle is filled with water, the main switch “I ” and boiling switch are turned
on, the tea is prepared to steep, then the main switch is turned off “0” after use.
•Anyactionsthatarenecessaryforthewatertoremainboiled,fortheteapotto
keep warm, and for the minimum energy consumption, will be made by the device
automatically.
WARNING
•Themainswitchmustnotbeturnedonwhenthekettleisemptyorthewater
level is below the minimum level of 0,5 liter.
•ThemainswitchMUST be turned off when the water contained in the kettle is
completely finished.
USING TEA MAKER
•YourArzum Çaycý Tea Maker heats up during operation; for this reason, do not
touch the hot surfaces of the appliance. Keep your hands away from the spout when
the water starts boiling.
• Do not use for any purpose other than boiling water.
Do not fill with any other liquids or solutions.
• A teapot MUST be placed on the kettle device when
the boiling switch is on . Otherwise, the appliance will
be delayed to pass to the energy saving position, even
when the water is boiled.
•Whenliftingtheteapottoservetea,pulltheteapot
from its base after skimming its bottom off. By doing so,
any drops remaining in the bottom will be spilled out
inside of the kettle.
•Beforeusingforthefirsttime,washtheinsideofyourArzum Çaycý Tea Maker
by putting in water. Boil water two to three times inside of the kettle, and replace
the water after each time. Make sure that the device is filled with water up to the
maximum level when doing this. After each time of boiling, pour out the hot water
and rinse the inside of the device with cold water.
•Afterboilingthewater,somepowder-likesedimentmayformduetothehardnessof
the water. This is quite natural and has no adverse effects whatsoever on human health.
FILLING WITH WATER
•ALWAYS remove the appliance from its power base
unit when filling with water, preventing the water to be
spilled out on the tray.
•Donotfillwithlessthan0,5literofwaterormore
than 1,8 liter of water. If you attempt to boil a quantity of
water below the minimum level or above the maximum
level, the appliance may switch off rather early or the
boilingwatermayejectfromthespout,respectively.
STEEPING TEA
• Unwind the power cord coiled around the power
base unit of your Arzum Çaycý Tea Maker and connect
to a grounded socket.
• It would be convenient for you to keep this unit
plugged in the kitchen when not in use, provided that
the main switch is turned off “0”.

•Fillthekettlewithwaterbetweenthemaximumlevel(1,8liter)andtheminimum
level (0,5 liter), according to the quantity of tea you want to steep.
•Placethekettleoverthepowerbaseunit.
•Open theteapot lid,take outthe teafilter fromits place,then putadequate
amount of tea in the filter and locate it inside of the teapot after wetting it with
cold water.
•Turnonbysettingthemainswitchtotheposition“I“,andtheboilingswitchtothe
position . A red pilot light will flash and the water will start boiling.
•Dependinguponthequantityofwaterputintothe
teapot, the water will boil within 3 to 8 minutes and the
boiling switch will set to the position “off” automatically,
decreasing the heating power to keep the water under
boiling state in the minimum level and to ensure energy
savings. Meanwhile, the red pilot light will disappear,
while the green pilot light will flash.
• Steep the tea using boiled water and relocate the
teapot in its place. Add some water to your kettle where necessary. If you add water
turn the boiling switch to the position “on” .
SAFETY SYSTEM
•Thedevicepassesautomaticallytotheenergysavingpositionwhenthewaterboils.
•ProtectionAgainstRunningDry:Forsafetyreasonsyourdeviceisprotectedwith
two thermostats.
CLEANING
•Beforecleaningyourappliance,firstALWAYS read the instructions in the section
“Important Safeguards”.
BEFORE CLEANING YOUR APPLIANCE, TURN THE MAIN SWITCH (ON/
OFF SWITCH) OFF “0”, UNPLUG FROM OUTLET, AND ALLOW IT TO
COOL DOWN.
•You canwash the teapot
and filter of your Arzum
Çaycý Tea Maker by hand or
in dishwasher.
• Pour out any remaining
water contained in your
kettle and wipe the outside
of it thoroughly with a dry or
damp cloth.
•NEVER immerse the power base unit and the kettle into water, nor wash them
in a dishwasher.
•Avoidusingabrasiveandchemicalcleaningagents(liquidbleach,hydrochloricacid,
etc.) in cleaning any accessories of the appliance.
•Makesurethatthecordandplugarecompletelydry.Ifgettingwetted,unplugfrom
outlet and dry both the cord and plug thoroughly.
DESCALING
•Itisimportantthekettleisdescaledregularlyasappropriate,forthehygieneand
energy saving purposes.
•Limes andscalescontained intheused waterwillform abrownlayer onthe
heating base, reducing the effectiveness of your appliance.
• Light formation of limes and scales can be easily
removed with a brush (Do not forget to unplug the
appliance before doing so).
•Thedescalingagentssoldandavailableonthemarket
to use on household utensils as well as the vinegar can
be used for removing the collected hard scales.
•Tocleanyourkettlewithadescalingagent:Onceyou
have boiled some quantity of water in the appliance add the descaling agent and mix
them. Then, after allowing to wait, boil for 2-3 minutes more, empty the reservoir,
and rinse the inside of it 2-3 times repeatedly with clean water.
• To clean with ordinary vinegar: Fill your appliance with half a liter of ordinary
vinegar and wait for one hour. Then, pour away the vinegar and rinse it 2-3 times
repeatedly with clean water.

c- Ücretsiz onarılmasını isteme,
ç- Satılanın ayıpsız bir misli ile değiştirilmesini isteme,

4. Tüketicinin bu haklardan ücretsiz onarım hakkını seçmesi durumunda satıcı;
işçilikmasrafı,değiştirilenparçabedeliyadabaşkaherhangibiradaltındahiçbirücret
talep etmeksizin malın onarımını yapmak veya yaptırmakla yükümlüdür. Tüketici
ücretsizonarımhakkınıüreticiveyaithalatçıyakarşıkullananilir.Satıcı,üreticiveithalatçı
tüketicininbuhakkınıkullanmasındanmüteselsilensorumludur.
5. Tüketicinin, ücretsiz onarım hakkını kullanmasıhalindemalın;
 -Garantisüresiiçindetekrararızalanması,
 -Tamiriiçingerekenazamisüreninaşılması,
 -Tamirininmümkünolmadığının,yetkiliservisistasyonu,satıcı,üreticiveyaithalatçı
tarafındanbirraporlabelirlenmesidurumlarında;
tüketici malin bedel iadesini, ayıp oranında bedel indirimini veya imkan varsa malın
ayıpsız misli ile değiştirilmesini satıcıdan talep edebilir. Satıcı, tüketicinin talebini
reddedemez. Bu talebin yerine getirilmemesi durumunda satıcı, üretici ve ithalatçı
müteselsilen sorumludur.
6. Malın tamir süresi 20 iş gününü, binek otomobil ve kamyonetler için ise 30 iş
gününügeçemez.Busüre,garantisüresiiçerisindemalailişkinarızanınyetkiliservis
istasyonunaveyasatıcıyabildirimitarihinde,garantisüresidışındaisemalınyetkiliservis
istasyonuna teslim tarihinden itibaren başlar. Malın arızasının 10 iş günü içerisinde
giderilememesi halinde üretici veya ithalatçı; malın tamiri tamamlanıncaya kadar,
benzerözellikleresahipbaşkabirmalıtüketicininkullanımınatahsisetmekzorundadır.
Malıngaranti süresi içerisindearızalanmasıdurumunda, tamirdegeçensüre garanti
süresine eklenir.
7. Malınkullanmakılavuzunda yer alanhususlaraaykırıkullanılmasında kaynaklanan
arızalargarantikapsamıdışındadır.
8. Tüketici, garantiden doğan haklarının kullanılması ile ilgili olarak çıkabilecek
uyuşmazlıklardayerleşim yerininbulunduğu veyatüketici işlemininyapıldığı yerdeki
Tüketici Hakem Heyetine veya Tüketici Mahkemesinebaşvurabilir.
9. SatıcıtarafındanbuGaranti Belgesinin verilmesi durumunda, tüketici Gümrük ve
Ticaret Bakanlığı Tüketicinin Korunması ve Piyasa Gözetimi Genel Müdürlüğüne
başvurabilir.
