Network settings
The Power Focus 600 can be set up to be accessed on a Local Area Network
(LAN) or accessed directly from a connected PC. It uses the IPv4 protocol.
Note! Only the Factory Ethernet port can be configured.
The Service Ethernet port has a designated IP ad-
dress, 169.254.1.1, that cannot be configured.
Accessing the controller on LAN
Connect the network cable to the Factory Ethernet port and then either manu-
ally specify the required information or, if available, use the information pro-
vided by the DHCP server. Required information is IP address, Subnet mask,
and Gateway. This information should be provided by the local system admin-
istrator.
Accessing the controller from a connected PC
Connect the PC with a straight through ethernet cable (RJ45) to the Service
Ethernet port and browse to the port’s designated IP address, 169.254.1.1.
Preferences
Language
The controller interface can display the text in the following languages: Eng-
lish, Czech, German, Spanish, French, Korean, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese,
Russian, Swedish, Chinese and Polish.
Torque units
Different countries use different units of measure for length, weight etc. This
can also vary depending on industry. By specifying the torque unit all displayed
torque values will be recalculated and displayed in the chosen unit.
Date and Time
In order to get the correct time stamp on events and results the date and time
must be set.
Parameter Description
Date Controller date is entered on the format yyyymmdd.
Time Controller time is entered on the format hhmmss.
Note! An internal battery will keep date and time set al-
though no external power is connected to the con-
troller, see section Connections [Page000].
Result settings
In Result settings the appearance of the result view can be configured. It can
display results in numbers only or as a trace graph (here called trace).
Trace configuration
To better learn how a tightening behaves and to help setting the tightening pa-
rameters correctly the trace functionality can be activated. Traces can begin ei-
ther from when the trigger is pressed or from after rundown complete.
