The ATTO FastStream SC 5700 provides blazing-
fast performance and instant RAID parity
protection to any storage device with a Fibre
Channel connection using a simple “one-click”
installation.
ATTO FastStream Storage Appliances are high
performance, storage agnostic, stand alone
appliances which add instant data protection and
can be seamlessly integrated into an existing
storage environment to provide blazing-fast
access to valuable assets. This means you can
add hardware RAID to new or existing Fibre
Channel storage to ensure data is protected
without compromising performance. The ATTO
FastStream is designed to provide on-the-fly
capacity expansion for high-performance
environments and applications.
ATTO FastStream Storage Appliances offer the
latest in performance and connectivity. Using the
“one-click” set-up wizard dramatically simplifies
installation and configuration. Add instant RAID to
SATA, SAS and ATA JBOD storage as long as a
Fibre Channel connection is available. The ATTO
FastStream SC supports DVRAID, ATTO’s pro-
prietary technology and allows for multiple
streams of high definition editing plus alpha chan-
nel titles. RAID levels 0, 1, 4, 5, 10 and 50 as well
as JBOD are also supported. Existing RAID vol-
umes can be expanded, mirrors added or RAID
levels changed dynamically while keeping all data
intact. Add storage as needed, when needed. The
Storage Provisioning feature enables optimal use
of storage assets and the ability to modify the
storage infrastructure with minimal or no
disruption to application services. In addition, the
ATTO RAID Storage Appliance is RoHS compliant
and is available in an industry standard 1U rack-
mount or desktop enclosure.
