The FastStream SC 7500 Storage Controller is a
scalable SAN RAID controller that delivers high
performance access to data and data protection
for applications in DVA and IT infrastructures
including 4K and 2K digital film production, high-
definition video post, digital prepress, disk-to-disk
backup, medical imaging, email compliance, data
warehousing, data mining and transaction based
environments.
ATTO FastStream Storage Controllers provide
best of class performance and instant RAID parity
protection to any SAS or SATA storage device;
FastStream allows you to mix SAS and SATA
storage to integrate into a tiered storage solution.
Designed as a 1U external SAN Appliance which
integrates with SAS or SATA storage to provide
instant RAID protection over several JBOD arrays,
the FastStream SC 7500 provides a cost-effective
alternative to RAID arrays with the benefit of SAN
connectivity without a switch. Small workgroups
can work collaboratively on projects without
having to copy large files from workstation to
workstation.
By utilizing the “one-click” set-up wizard provided
by the ExpressNAV™ Storage Manager, tailoring
storage to your environment has never been
easier. Advanced intelligence features such as
Phone Home email alerts and real-time
performance metrics make it simple to manage
and maintain your storage.
