NOTE:Thespeakerincorporatesamagneticallyshieldeddesignthatcanbeusedinclose
proximitytomostmonitors.However,whenplacedwithin6‐8inchesofsomeCRTmonitors,
thespeakermaycausecolordistortion.Tocorrecttheproblem,turnoffandunplugthe
monitorandrelocatethespeakerfartherawayfromthemonitor.Waitfor15minutesand
thenturnthemonitorbackon.Mostcomputermonitorshaveadegaussoptionintheir
setupmenu.Whenavailable,youcanusethedegaussingfunctiontorestorenormalcolor
display.

•Anybatterymaypresentariskoffire,explosion,orchemicalburnifabused.Donot
trytochargeabatterythatisnotintendedtoberecharged,donotincinerate,anddo
notpuncture.
•Non‐rechargeablebatteries,suchasalkalinebatteries,mayleakifleftinyourproduct
foralongperiodoftime.Removethebatteriesfromtheproductifyouarenotgoing
touseitforamonthormore.
•Ifyourproductusesmorethanonebattery,donotmixtypesandmakesuretheyare
insertedcorrectly.Mixingtypesorinsertingincorrectlymaycausethemtoleak.
•Discardanyleakyordeformedbatteryimmediately.Theymaycauseskinburnsor

4. CE208BTretainsthememoryandkeyofthelastconnectedphoneandreconnectstothe
lastphoneautomaticallyunderthefollowingcases:
•Whenpoweredon,thisunitsearchesfor30secondstofindthelastphoneitwas
connectedto.Ifitdoesnotfindthelastphone,itwillgointoa"Sleep"mode.
•WhentheCE208BTisconnectedtoaphoneandthephonegoesoutofrange,the
CE208BTwillsearchforandattempttore‐pairwiththephonefor30seconds.
•IftheCE208BTbecomesdisconnectedfromthephone,pressthe“§”buttonto
initiateanautomaticconnectionwiththelastphone.IftheCE208BTcannotfindthe
phone,itwillgointoa"Sleep"mode.
Theautoreconnectionprocesscanbecancelledbypressingandholdingthe“§”
buttonfor5secondstoenter“Pairing”mode.TheCE208BTwillerasethelastphone
memoryandkeyandwillbe“discoverable”byanewphone.Afterthe5‐minutePairing
period,theBluetoothconnectiongoesinto“Sleep”mode.

•Enter“AutoConnection”mode,causingtheunittoautomaticallysearchfor
thelastconnectedphonefor30seconds.
c) Atanytimeduring Bluetoothmode,pressandholdthisbuttonfor5secondsto:
•Enter“Pairing”modefor5minutes,allowingtheunittopairtoadifferent
device.

General Setup
1. Insert4AAA‐sizebatteriesintothebatterycompartmentandre‐installthebatterycover;
or,plugpoweradaptorintojackmarked6VDCinandplugadaptorintoawalloutlet.
2. PressthePowerbutton.TheLEDindicatorwillblinkagreenlightfor5‐10seconds
duringthebootupprocess.TheLEDindicatorwillturnsolidgreenfordefaultFMRadio
modewheninitializationiscomplete.EachpressoftheModebuttonswitchesto
anothersource:FM>Bluetooth>AuxIn.

FM Radio Mode
1. PresstheModebuttonontheunittoselectFMmode(greenlighton).
2. Totunetoastation,presstheTUNE+/‐buttonsontheunit.Theunitwillautomatically
scanforstationsandtheLEDgreenlightwillflash.Thegreenflashinglightwillstoponce
astationisreceived.
3. Toadjustthevolume,pressVOL+/‐buttonsontheunit.
4. WhenyourphonereceivesacallandisconnectedtotheCE208BT,pressthe“§”
buttontoanswerthecall.Whenthecallends,theunitwillresumeFMmode.
5. Topowertheunitoff,pressPowerbutton.
Bluetooth Mode
1. PresstheModebuttonontheunittoBluetoothmodewithbluelightonandPressand
holdfor5seconds“§”buttontoenterthe“Pairing”mode.
2. Activateyourdevice’sBluetoothsearchmode.Thedevicemaybeoneofthefollowing:
(1)amobilephone,PDA,Notebookorotherdevicethatsupportsthestandard
BluetoothA2DPprofile;or(2)aPC,MP3player,iPodorotherdevicewithanexternal
Bluetoothadapter(BluetoothDongleorBluetoothTransmitter).
Note:PleaserefertotheBluetoothusermanualforhowtopairandsearchtheBluetooth
deviceofthemusicsource.
3. Afterpairingorsearchingsucceeds,youwillhearaconfirmationsoundfromtheunit
andthepairedBluetoothdevicewilldisplaysuccessfulconnectiontothe
"CE208BT‐XXXXXX"speaker,showingtheserialnumbers.
4. WhenaskedtoenterapasswordduringBluetoothpairing,enter"0000",thedefault
passwordfortheCE208BT.ThedevicenameisCE208BT‐XXXXXX.
5. Ifpairingorsearchingfails,turntheunitoffandthenonagainandrepeatSteps1‐4.
6. Topauseandplaymusic,pressthe“§”buttonontheunit.
7. TogototheNextorPrevioustrack,presstheorbuttonontheunit.
Note:YourBluetoothdevicemusthaveaBluetoothtransmitter,supportingAVRCPprofile
forthefeaturesinsteps6‐7tofunction.Notalldevicessupportthesefunctions.Please
refertothemanualthatcamewithyourBluetoothdeviceformoredetails.
8. Toadjustthevolume,presstheVOL+andVOL‐buttonsontheunit.
9. WhenthemobilephonereceivesanincomingcallduringBluetoothconnectedstatus
andtheunitisplayingmusic,themusicwillstopautomatically.Pressthe“§”button
toanswerthecall.Theunitwillresumemusicplaybackwhenthecallisfinished.
10.Topowerofftheunit,pressthePowerbutton.

AUX In Mode
1. Connecta3.5mmaudiocable(notincluded)withyouraudiodevice,suchasCDorMP3
player.
2. PresstheModebuttontochooseAUXmodeontheunit(amberlighton).
3. Toadjustthevolume,presstheVOL+/‐buttonsontheunit.Youmayalsoneedtoadjust
thevolumeontheconnectedaudiodevice.
4. WhenthemobilephonereceivesanincomingcallduringBluetoothconnectedstatus
andtheunitisplayingmusicfromyourAUXdevice,themusicwillstopautomatically.
Pressthe“§”buttontoanswerthecall.TheunitwillresumeAUXmodewhenthe
callisfinished.
