Avaya HC020 Camera can be use as first or additional camera on XT4300,
XT5000, and XT7100. Please follow the below instructions to connect and
use HC020 Camera.
Insert the USB connector to its socket at rear of the camera.
Connect the HC020 Camera to your laptop.
Attach the USB connector to the USB upper socket at the rear of the XT Series endpoint (XT4300, XT5000 or XT7100).
Launch the Equinox client and select the device (Avaya HC020) from the Settings > User Preferences page of your
Equinox Client.
If using HC020 as first camera, you should enable it as Default Camera in: Configure > Advanced > I/O connections
> Cameras > General > Default Camera: USB
- Please remove the SMALL plastic lens cover before using the camera
- The video signal is captured from the USB port of the XT unit. As alternative, the HDMI port can be used, connecting the
HDMI of the camera to the XT unit (HDMI cable not included in the box). USB port is also used for camera control.
Under this configuration, HC020 camera can be controlled using the provided remote control.
