Chapter 1 Introduction
The AvayatLine Interactive Rack-Mount (RM) uninterruptible power
system (UPS) is a high-density power protection solution ideal for
servers, storage systems, network equipment, and other critical devices.
The slim design and wide range of installation possibilities make the
Avaya Line Interactive RM the most versatile UPS available. With only
1U (1.75”) of rack-height, the UPS can be installed in rack-mount, wall-
mount, side-mount (zero-U), and bench-top applications.
Providing a true sine wave output, the UPS delivers smooth, continuous
power during normal and battery operation. In addition, the UPS corrects
incoming voltage fluctuations to further protect the connected
equipment from power problems such as power sags and surges.
