Tête pivotante droite et à angle droit Genesis®
Instructions de montage
Reportez-vous à l’illustration de l’ensemble dans le manuel de l’outil approprié - nG1, nG2, nG2s, nG3, G2, G2s ou G3.
Les numéros de repère en gras se rapportent à la liste de pièces et à l’illustration ci-dessous.
1. Dévissez l’adaptateur en T 71213-02020 (carter guide 23 pour G2, G2s, G3 et nG3).
Retirez l’écrou de blocage 71210-02105 et le logement de joint 71210-02104.
2. Vissez entièrement à la main l’ensemble écrou de blocage 24 sur le piston (fourni avec la tête pivotante).
Placez le carter guide 23 (fourni avec la tête pivotante pour nG1, nG2 et nG2s), vissez-le entièrement sur le piston avant de serrer
l’ensemble écrou de blocage 24.
3. Retirez l’ensemble vase de récupération des tiges et remplacez-le par un obturateur de sécurité 25*.
Pour les outils Genesis®nG équipés du vase de récupération à déblocage rapide, installez l’obturateur de sécurité Q/R 26*.
4. Lorsque la tête pivotante est installée sur l’outil Genesis®nG2 ou nG3, le compteur de cycles de l’outil ne fonctionne pas. Pour réactiver
le compteur de cycles de l’outil, il est nécessaire de remplacer les deux rondelles d’étanchéité 71221-02006 comme suit :
Pour nG2, posez des entretoises de remplacement 71213-02032 (2).
Pour nG3, posez des entretoises de remplacement 71223-02032 (2).
Reportez-vous au manuel de l’outil "Ensemble piston pneumatique" pour obtenir les instructions de démontage.
Remarque : L’outil doit être réamorcé si des rondelles d’étanchéité de remplacement ont été installées. Pour le réamorçage, reportez-
vous au manuel de l’outil.
Remarque : Les embouts et les mâchoires (14 et 17) varient en fonction des fixations.
Pour obtenir toutes les références de l’ensemble, y compris les embouts et les mâchoires, reportez-vous au manuel de l’outil.

Préparation des outils de base avant montage de la tête pivotante
• Retirez la protection 1, la vis 21 et la plate-forme 22.
• Retirez le tourillon 6et l’axe 11.
• Placez la bague de serrage 10 sur le carter guide 23.
• Vissez l’axe 11 sur le carter guide 23 en orientant le petit orifice de fixation de la vis vers le haut. Serrez légèrement à l’aide d’une broche
de serrage.
• Vissez l’ensemble sur l’axe 11 dans la partie avant de la pièce moulée de la tête de l’outil. Reposez le tourillon 6.
• Fixez la plate-forme 22 sur la partie supérieure de l’axe 11 à l’aide de la vis 21.
• Reposez la protection 1sur l’ensemble.

Remarque : Les embouts et les mâchoires (14 et 17) varient en fonction des fixations.

Les numéros de repère en gras se rapportent à la liste de pièces et à l’illustration ci-dessous.
Préparez l’outil de base conformément aux instructions 1, 2, 3 et 4 de la première page.
• Retirez la vis 21 (4).
• Faites glisser la protection 1du corps 5.
• Retirez le tourillon 6fixant l’axe 11 au corps 5. Retirez l’axe 11.
• Vissez l’axe 11 sur le carter guide 23. Serrez légèrement à l’aide d’une broche de serrage.
• Vissez l’ensemble sur l’axe 11 dans la partie avant de la pièce moulée de la tête de l’outil. Reposez le tourillon 6.
• Reposez la protection 1sur l’ensemble en faisant glisser délicatement les encoches fendues autour de la tête du tourillon 15 et
sous le circlip 2.
• Fixez la protection 1à l’aide de la vis 21 (4).

Genesis®Right Angle and Straight Swivel Head
Fitting Instructions
Refer to the assembly illustration in the appropriate tool manual - nG1, nG2, nG2s, nG3, G2, G2s or G3.
Item numbers in bold refer to the parts list and illustration below.
1. Unscrew ‘T’ Adaptor 71213-02020 (Jaw Spreader Housing 23 for G2, G2s, G3 and nG3).
Remove Locknut 71210-02105 and Seal Housing 71210-02104.
2. Screw Stop Nut Assembly 24 fully onto the piston by hand (supplied in the Swivel Head Kit).
Fit Jaw Spreader Housing 23 (supplied in the Swivel Head Kit for nG1, nG2 and nG2s) screw fully onto the piston before tightening Stop
Nut Assembly 24 against it.
3. Remove the Stem Collector Bottle Assembly and replace it with Safety Cap 25*.
For Genesis®nG tools fitted with the Quick Release Collector Bottle, fit Safety Cap Q/R 26*.
4. When Swivel Head equipment is fitted to the Genesis® nG2 or nG3 tool, the ‘Tool Cycle Counter’ will not operate. To reactivate the ‘Tool
Cycle Counter’ it is necessary to replace the two Sealing Washers 71221-02006 as follows:
For nG2 fit replacement Spacers 71213-02032 (2 off).
For nG3 fit replacement Spacers 71223-02032 (2 off).
Refer to the tool manual ‘Pneumatic Piston Assembly’ for the dismantling instructions.
Note: The tool will need to be reprimed if replacements for Sealing Washers are fitted, for repriming refer to the tool manual.
Note: Nose tips and jaws (14 and 17) vary to suit specific fasteners.

To Prepare Base Tools to Accept Swivel Head Equipment
• Remove Guard 1, Screw 21 and Platform 22.
• Remove Pivot Pin 6and Spindle 11.
• Fit Locking Ring 10 over the Jaw Spreader Housing 23.
• Screw Spindle 11 onto the Jaw Spreader Housing 23, leaving the small screw fixing hole uppermost. Tighten gently with a tommy bar.
• Screw the assembly over Spindle 11 onto the front of the tool head casting. Replace Pivot Pin 6.
• Attach Platform 22 onto the top of Spindle 11 with Screw 21.
• Snap Guard 1over the assembly.

Note: Nose tips and jaws (14 and 17) vary to suit specific fasteners.

Prepare the base tool as per the instructions 1, 2, 3 and 4 on the front page.
• Remove Screw 21 (4 off).
• Slide Guard 1from Body 5.
• Remove Pivot Pin 6that secures Spindle 11 to Body 5. Remove Spindle 11.
• Screw Spindle 11 onto the Jaw Spreader Housing 23. Tighten gently with a tommy bar.
• Screw the assembly over Spindle 11 onto the front of the tool head casting. Replace Pivot Pin 6.
• Slide Guard 1over the assembly, carefully sliding the cut out slots around the head of Pivot Pin 15 and under Circlip 2.
• Secure Guard 1with Screw 21 (4 off).
