Preparing for Installaon
Before starng the installaon, ensure you have the following:
1. The names you’d like to use for the organizaon, site, and room in Mira
Portal.
2. A network connecon for Mira Connect 10 that has a DHCP server and
network route to the equipment and to Mira Portal.
3. The model numbers of the equipment to be controlled.
4. The IP addresses of the equipment and any login credenals required to
control the equipment over the network.
5. Conrm telnet is enabled for network control of the equipment, such as
video and audio conferencing equipment, if it is not enabled by default.

Installaon Steps
Use Mira Portal to dene a Room:
1. Create an account or log in to Mira Portal from your computer:
hps://mira.aveosystems.com.
2. Add a new Organizaon or select one. The organizaon is usually the
name of the end user’s company where Mira Connect 10 is installed.
3. Add a new Site to the organizaon or select one. The site is usually a
building or campus locaon within the organizaon.
4. Add a new Room to the site or select an exisng room.
Pair Mira Connect 10 to the Room:
5. Connect Mira Connect 10 to a Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) network that has
a network route to the equipment and to hps://mira.aveosystems.com,
Use an oponal PoE injector or 12V DC / 2A power supply, if necessary.
6. Slide the power switch (located below the touch screen) to the right to
power on Mira Connect 10.

7. Select the Applicaon Language (English is default value).
8. Select the Network: Wired or Wireless. For Wireless Networks, select the
network and enter the password or key, if necessary.
9. If Mira Connect 10 has a valid network route, it will show a pairing code to
be used in Mira Portal to pair to the room.
10. Using Mira Portal, click PAIR in the
Mira Connect panel for the selected
room, then enter the pairing code in
the pop-up window.
11. On Mira Connect 10, conrm the
desired room has been selected in the
Setup Summary and then click Finish.
No controllers are paired.

Add Equipment to the Room:
12. In Mira Portal, select the Equipment menu item. In
the Equipment panel click the ADD buon to add
equipment to the room. In the pop-up window, select
the type of device, enter the IP address and oponal
login credenals for the equipment, and click Add
Equipment.
13. For equipment that requires addional setup, such as DSPs, edit the
equipment and customize the equipment opons or enter control points,
and click Update Equipment. See the equipment’s integraon guide for
more informaon about specifying control points.
14. Conrm all equipment shows the green “Connected” status. Edit
equipment with red warning symbols to correct the IP address or control
points based on network connecon status.

User Interface
Once Mira Connect 10 is successfully paired with the room, the user interface
will appear on Mira Connect 10 automacally. The user opons available
depend on the equipment used in the room and the control points used with the
equipment. Customize the visual theme for the Site to add a company’s logo,
background image, or custom colors for all rooms within the site.
