Multiple problems faced by your IT organization can be managed by the physical
separation of your users from their computer/target device. Problems include physical
and data security, workplace environments, asset management, licensing and auditing,
remote access, reduced downtime, and more.
The LV1000 supports physical separation requirement up to 1000 feet with any UTP
cable without compromising your experience. The simple transmitter and receiver
pair design allows for ease of installation and simple deployment.
Target devices are typically multiplatform computers, or a KVM switching
infrastructure. The user station may be a desktop environment, KVM switching
infrastructure console or a video/audio display unit.

USB and SUN machines.
•User Peripherals. Extends keyboard,
video, mouse, speakers, microphone and
serial devices up to 1000 feet with any UTP
cable type. Connect PS/2 and USB keyboard
and mouse at the user station, regardless of
the target device platform.
•Auto Tuning. This unique feature will
automatically compensate for video skew and
signal loss, delivering clear crisp video
images up to 1000 feet at a resolution of
1280 x 1024.
•Dual Mode. The dual mode transmitter
supports a second user connection locally at
the target device or remotely up to 1000 feet
away with an additional LV1000R receiver
unit
•Small Form Factor. The small form
factor user station (receiver unit) supports
desk and flat panel monitor mounting with
optional hardware.
•OSD. Configuration and system information
is easily accessed and updated via the on-
screen display.
•Ease of Installation. The single cable
to desk design simplifies installation while
making it easier for you to move, add or

The LV1000 extender is a point-to-point KVM, audio and serial device
extender up to 1000 feet. The system is a transmitter/receiver design
with an interconnecting UTP cable. The skew compensation feature
supports any combination of UTP cable in the extension path as well as
patch panel interfaces. If the connection path is altered in any way
during operation, the LV1000 will automatically adjust without any
manual adjustment or user intervention.
