Easily troubleshoot, reboot or even power cycle servers
or serial devices in remote branch offices, avoiding the
need for costly on-site service calls.
The Avocent DSR1021, 1022, 1024 and 1031 KVM over IP switches address
the unique challenges of branch office IT environments where space and
IT resources are limited. These DSR switches feature an on-board Web
interface compatible with Internet Explorer, Mozilla, Firefox, or Netscape
for over-IP access and control of your servers and other networked devices
from any location. Devices attached to these DSR switches can be cycled
on and off with the dedicated power control port and managed remotely
without the need for onsite IT staff or costly service calls.
When deployed with Avocent DSView®3 management software, you get a
secure method to access and control your servers and network devices
from a single interface. Its hub and spoke architecture provides failover
authentication. Users authenticate to a central management server (the hub)
or one of 15 mirror servers (the spokes). SNMP and IPMI support are also
provided with DSView 3 management software.
