A.Introduction
Thankyouforchoosing theportable DVDplayerwith twin17cm LCD
screen. The main features include two17cm Wide Screen (16:9
Aspect Ratio)LiquidCrystalDisplay(LCD)monitors and asingle
DVD player. Please read the entire instruction manual supplied with
this product prior to using.The documentationwill assistyou in
installingthe system properly to obtainthe best equipment
performance. Please save this manual for lateruse.
B. Cautions and Warnings
1. Placement
To prevent fireor electric shock, do not expose thisapplianceto
rainor moisture.Donotplacethe set onan unstable cart, stand,
tripod,bracket or tabletopreventitfrom falling.Keeptheunitaway
fromstrongmagnets, heatsources,directsunlight, excessive dust.
If the unitis broughtdirectly from acold toawarmlocation,moisture
maycondense inside the unit. When you move it from a cold to a
warm location, waitfor about onehour beforeoperatingthe unit, or
removethediscandleave the unit turned onuntilthe moisture
evaporates.
2. Installation
Ensure that 17cm the DVDplayer andmonitors areinstalledin
accordancewith theinstructions andillustrations providedin this
manual.
3. Caution
Donot push objectsofanykindinto the unit through openings;do
not spill orsprayliquid of any kind on or inthe system (this may
result in afire orelectricshock).Donotplace anythingheavy on
theunit.To ensure proper ventilation and proper operation, never
cover or blocktheslots andopenings with acloth or othermaterial.
Keep the unit away from an open flame such as fire, candle etc. It
is hazardousto replacethebattery incorrectly.Replace thebattery
only with the same or equivalenttype, in order to protect the

environment,please dispose the battery properly. Do notusethe
unit in temperatures higher than95 degreesFahrenheit or 35 de-
grees Celsius.
4.Disassemble
Do not attempt to disassemble the cabinet. There isa riskofelec-
tric shock and/or exposure toLaser Radiation. Contact qualified
service personnel ifyour system needs repair.
5.Cleaning Unit
Whencleaning, makesurethe systemisunpluggedfromthepower
source.Donotuse liquid cleaners or aerosolcleaners.Usea cloth
lightlydampened with waterfor cleaningthe exterior of thesystem
only.
6. Disc
Donot use irregularly shapeddiscssuch as heartorstar-shaped
discsas theymaycausethe unittomalfunction.Do notstickpaper,
tapeorglueon the disc.Do notexpose the disc todirectsunlightor
heatsources. Do not touchthesurface of disc. Handle thediscby
its edge. Clean the disc by wipingthe discfrom thecenter outwith
acleaning cloth.Remove thediscfromthe unitand storeit in its
caseafter playing. Some playback operations of discsmaybein-
tentionallyfixedbysoftware producers. Since thisunit plays discs
according to the disccontents thesoftwareproducersdesigned,
some playbackfeatures maynot be available. Alsorefer to the in-
structionssuppliedwiththediscs.
7.Regional Coding
BoththeDVDplayeranddisc arecoded by region. These regional
codesmustmatchin orderforthedisctoplay. If thecodesdon t
match, thediscwontplay.Thisunits codeisregion4. DVDswith
otherregional codes cannot be played in this unit.

D. Powering and installation
1.Powering the system indoors
Plugone end oftheACtoDC adapterintotheDC Input jackonthe
right sideof the DVD player,then plugthe other endintothe
100~240VAC power receptacle.
2. Powering the systemin a car
Plugoneendofthecigarettelighter adapterintotheDCInput jack
on the DVDplayer, then plugtheother end intothe cigarettelighter
socket.

Positioning the Monitorinvehicleheadrest
Note:Insert themounting straps thru the mounting strap slots onthe
rear ofthe monitor and secure it to the headrest in your vehicle.
Note: Unplugtheapparatus whennot usingfora prolonged period of
time.

F. Loading and Playing a Disc
a.After connecting powerto theunit, poweron “DVDplayer”with the
power switch. The powerindicator will light.
b. Open thedisc tray by OPEN switch, and place adisc into the tray.
c. Close the trayand the unit will load the disc and start playing.
d.Rotate BRIGHTNESS andVOLUME toadjust theLCD sbright-
nessand the DVD player s volume.
e. To stopplaying adisc,pressSTOP.

G. Setup
1. Press SETUP on theremote control.
2. Press direction buttons to select the item you want.
3. Press ENTER toconfirm yourselection.
4. Press SETUP again to exit the setup.

a) SPDIF Output
* SPDIF Off: Thedigitalsignal audiooutputwill beoff.
*SPDIF/RAW:Theaudiooutput will benot modulated.
*SPDIF/PCM:The audio outputwill be modulated in Pulse Code Modu-
lationmode.
b) TV Display
*Normal/PS: Whentheplayer outputs signal toa normalTV,a nor
mal pictureis shown on the full screen.
*Normal/LB: When the player outputs signalto a normal TV,a nor
mal picture is shown onthescreenwitha black stripat
both the top andbottom of thescreen.
*Wide: Whenthe player outputs signal to a wide screenTV, a
wide picture is shownon the fullscreen.
c) Angle Mark
*On:Thescreenwill show theAnglemark icon. (*Ifan angle option is
available).
* Off:The screen will not display theAngle Mark
d) ScreenSaver
*On:Enables screensaver
Note: The DVD player will enter the Screen Saver mode after
approximatelyfive minutes ifthe same image remains on the
screen.
*Off:Disables screensaver

e) Last Memory
*On: The unit will return to the last position on the disc.
*Off: Theunit will not return to the last position on the disc.
Note: The Last position memoryfunction onlyeffect when Open
switch.
2.Video QualitySetup
This pageincludes:
Brightness Contrast
Hue Saturation
TheBRIGHTNESS,CONTRASTandSATURATIONisthe same User
Interface. ThedefaultsettingforBRIGHTNESS,CONTRASTand
SATURATION is0 respectively.
HUE-Youcan adjust thecoloroftheimage usingthis function.The
default settingis0.
3.Password
Thepasswordis used to change theparentalcontrollevel(Refer
to‘Preference Setup ‘for details on parentalcontrol).
When you usethe player forthefirst time,enter the default password
3308.
4. Preference Setup(available onlywhen there is no disc in the
compartment)
This pageincludes:
Audio Subtitle DiscMenu Parental Default
Audio language selectionsare available only fordiscsthatarere-
cordedin thelanguages listed on the screen.
The parentalsetup has8 levels and arelistedfrom the lowest level
(1KidSafe) to thehighest level(8Adult).Youmust enter the password
to changetheparentalsetting.The defaultsetting is 8Adult.
Select Default to restore all original settings.

I.Menu
A DVD is divided into sections called titlesandchapters. When you
play a DVD,aroot menuofthedisc will appear onthescreen.The
contentsofthe menuvaryfromdisc to disc. Press MENU during
playbacktodisplaythemenu.SomeDVDs only allow you toselect
disc playbackoptions usingthe DVD root menu.
J.Display
1. PLAYINGTIME AND REMAININGTIME
During playbackpress the ‘DISPLAY button to display the current
Title Number,thetotal Number ofTitles, thecurrent ChapterNumber,
the total Number of Chapters, and the Playingelapsed Time for the
title.
2. SUBTITLE
Duringdisc playbackpress ‘SUBTITLE toselectthe subtitle language
you desire*, with the currentSubtitle LanguageNumber and thetotal
NumberofSubtitle Languagesdisplayed. If there are multiple lan-
guages press ‘SUBTITLE again to select another subtitle language.
To turnsubtitles OFF, press the ‘SUBTITLE buttonuntil ‘Subtitle Off
is displayed. The Subtitledisplaywill disappear automatically ifthe
‘SUBTITLE button is not pressed again within 3 seconds.
*Some DVDsonly allowaccessto this functionthrough theDVDmenu
3. AUDIO
Duringplaybackpress ‘AUDIO to select the audio languageyou
desire*, withthecurrent AudioChannel Numberandthetotalnumber
of Audio Channels displayed. PressAUDIOagainto select another
audio language. The audio displaywill disappear automaticallyifthe
‘AUDIO button is not pressed within for 3 seconds.
* SomeDVDs onlyallowaccess tothis function through the DVD
menu.
4.REPEAT
Press REPEAT repeatedly toselectamongrepeatthe current chapter,
repeat the current title or repeat the whole disc.

5. ANGLE
Duringplayback ofadisc,press‘ANGLE todisplaythe availableangles
for discs containing multi-angles*, with the current angle number and
the totalnumber of anglesdisplaying. Press ‘ANGLE to select an-
other angle, then press again to exit andreturn to the normalviewing
angle.
Note: Not all discs contain thisfeature.
K. Playing MP3 Discs
1. Openthe disccover.
2. Insert an MP3 file disc in the disctraywith the label side up
and then close the disc tray.
3. Press or to choose a folder. The songslist on the
screen.
4. Press or tochoose your desired songfrom the list. Press
ENTER to begin the playback.
5. Press or toskip to the previous and next file.
6. Press STOP tostopthePlayback.

No soundor distortedsound?
Make sure your DVD is connected properly.Make sure all cables are
securely
inserted into the appropriate jacks.
Can t advancethroughamovie?
You cantadvance through the openingcredits and warninginformation
that appears at the beginningofmoviesbecause the disc is programmed
to prohibitthataction.
Theicon ( ) appearson screen?
The feature or action cannot be completed at this time because:
1.The discssoftware restricts it.
2. Thediscs software doesn tsupport the feature (e.g., angles)
3.The feature is not available at the moment.
4. Youve requested a title or chapter number that is outofrange.
Pictureisdistorted?
1. The disc mightbe damaged. Tryanother disc.
2.It is normal for some distortionto appearduring forward or reverse
scan.
No forwardor reversescan?
1. Some discs have sections that prohibitrapid scanningortitleand
chapter skip.
2.Ifyou try toskip throughthe warninginformation and credits atthe
beginning ofa movie, you won tbe able to. This part of the movie is
often programmed to prohibitskippingthrough it.
IRsensorinoperative?
1. Verifythat the batteries in the remoteare fresh.
2. Verifythat the remote sensor eyeis not obstructed.
3. Verifythat the infrared transmitter is affixed over thesensor eye of
the component to be controlled.
Disc won tplay?
1. Insert a disc with thelabel side facingup.
2. Checkthe type ofdisc you put into disc tray.This DVD onlyplays
digitalvideodiscs, audio CDs, DIVX and MP3s.
Play starts, but then stops immediately?
1. Both the unit andthe disc are coded byregion. Ifthe regional codes
dontmatch, the disc can t be played. This DVD is Region Number
