AXCALL DI-623-21L
1. INTRODUCTION
Axcall DI-623-21L is a door intercom to be connected to a company’s internal switch-
board. This makes it possible to get in contact with all telephones from the entrance.
A person can talk to the visitor at the entrance and also open the door. The door
intercom also has a codelock function, which can be used by none-visitors. The
possibility to use call numbers and codes can be time controlled by an external timer.
To use DI-623-21L the switchboard has to have ananalogue two-wire connection. To
be able to use the opening function the switchboard also must use Dual Tone Multi-
Frequencysignalling (DTMF) to the door intercom.

CONNECTION OF DIRECT BUTTONS WITH ADI-623-08
As mentioned in the introduction you can connect one or more ADI-623-08 to a DI-
623-21L to be able to use more direct buttons. The connection is made with the cable
that comes with the ADI-623-08. To light the name labels you also have to connect
power on PL1:1 & 2. ADI-623-08 has 8 buttons that each activates an address in DI-
623-21L. To be able to access different groups of addresses in ADI-623-08 you have
to make an hardware addressing. This is done with the jumpers A0-A2. As delivered
the jumper A0-A2 is set as below (Default). This corresponds to addresses 109 to 116
in DI-623-21L You can see a list of addresses and jumpers in the diagram below. To
change an address you just put A0-A2 so that the right address is achieved.
