•Formostusecases,seectAutomaticexposure.
•Forenvironmentswithcertainarticiaighting,forexampeuorescentighting,seectlicker-free.
Seectthesamefrequencyasthepowerinefrequency.

Yourcamerausesvisibeighttodeivercoorimagesduringtheday.Astheavaiabeightdiminishes,youcansetthecamerato

images.Sincethecamerausesmoreoftheavaiabeightitcandeiverbrighter,moredetaied,images.

dispayedandupdatedataratesufcienttocreateastreamthatshowsconstantyupdatedmotion.Fortheviewertoperceivemotion
videotheratemustbeateast16imageframespersecond.Fumotionvideoisperceivedat30(NTSC)or25(PAL)framespersecond.
TheMotionJPEGstreamusesconsiderabeamountsofbandwidth,butprovidesexceentimagequaityandaccesstoeveryimage

TheStreamtabcontainssettingsforvideostreams.Yougetthesesettingsifyourequestavideostreamfromtheproductanddon’t
specifyforexamperesoution,orframerate.WhenyouchangethesettingsintheStreamtab,itdoesn’taffectongoingstreams,but
itwitakeeffectwhenyoustartanewstream.
TheStreamprolessettingsoverridethesettingsfromtheStreamtab.Ifyourequestastreamwithaspecicstreamproe,the
streamcontainsthesettingsofthatproe.Ifyourequestastreamwithoutspecifyingastreamproe,orrequestastreamproe
thatdoesn'texistintheproduct,thestreamcontainsthesettingsfromtheStreamtab.

Maximumbitrate(MBR)
Withmaximumbitrate,youcansetatargetbitratetohandebitrateimitationsinyoursystem.Youmayseeadecineinimage
quaityorframeratewhentheinstantaneousbitrateiskeptbeowthespeciedtargetbitrate.Youcanchoosetoeitherprioritize
imagequaityorframerate.Werecommendthatyoucongurethetargetbitratetoahighervauethantheexpectedbitrate.This
givesyouamarginforadditionacompexitythatneedstobecaptured.

Averagebitrate(ABR)
Withaveragebitrate,thebitrateisautomaticayadjustedoveraongertimescae.Thisissoyoucanmeetthespeciedtargetand
providethebestvideoquaitybasedonyouravaiabestorage.Bitrateishigherinsceneswithaotofactivity,comparedtostatic
scenes.Youaremoreikeytogetbetterimagequaitywhenneededwhenusingtheaveragebitrateoption.Youcandenethetota
storagerequiredtostorethevideostreamforaspeciedamountoftime(retentiontime)whenimagequaityisadjustedtomeetthe
