proles.Otherapplicationsandclientscanaccessvideostreamsdirectly,ithoutgoingviathelivevieindo.
AoutH.264format
H.264can,ithoutcompromisingimagequality,reducethesizeofadigitalvideolebymorethan80%comparediththeMotion
JPEGformatandasmuchas50%morethantheMPEG-4standard.Thismeansthatmuchlessnetorkbandidthandstoragespace
arerequiredforavideole.Orseenanotheray,muchhighervideoqualitycanbeachievedforagivenbitrate.
Decidinghichcombinationofprotocolsandmethodstousedependsonyourvieingrequirements,andonthepropertiesof
yournetork.TheavailableoptionsinAXISMediaControlare:
UnicastRTPThisunicastmethod(RTPoverUDP)isused
