Passworddialog,whichopenswhentheproductisaccessedforthersttime.
Topreventnetworeavesdropping,therootpasswordcanbesetviaanencryptedHTTPSconnection,whichrequiresanHTTPS
certicate.HTTPS(HypertextTransferProtocoloverSSL)isaprotocolusedtoencrypttrafcbetweenwebbrowsersandservers.The
HTTPScerticateensuresencryptedexchangeofinformation.SeeHTTPonpage42.
Thedefaultadministratorusernamerootispermanentandcannotbedeleted.Ifthepasswordforrootislost,theproductmustbe

TosetthepasswordviaastandardHTTPconnection,enteritdirectlyinthedialog.

Atemporarycerticate(validforoneyear)iscreated,enablingencryptionofalltrafctoandfromtheproduct,andthe
passwordcannowbesetsecurely.
2.Enterapasswordandthenre-enterittoconrmthespelling.
3.ClicOK.Thepasswordhasnowbeencongured.

Ifrequired,theheatercanbeactivatedmanuallybyclicingtheeaterbutton.Toshowthebutton,
gotoSetup>LiveViewCong.UnderActionButtons,selectShowheaterbuttonandspecifythe
numberofminutestheheatershouldbeactivated.
