InstallationsofAxisproductsusingashieldednetworkcable(STP)andaproperly
groundedendpointhavebeentestedtocomplywithindustryimmunitystandardlevels
suchassurgeprotection.Anyotherinstallationmethodwillvoidthewarrantyand
leavetheunitatarisk.
•Anoptionalcablewithadiameterof4.0mm-5.5mmshouldberoutedthrougha

1.Usethewallbracketasdrilltemplatetoprepareforinstallationofthewallbracket.
2.Routethenetworkcablethroughthewallbracket,andthroughthebracketadapter.
Leaveapproximately30cm(11.8”)ofcableforconnectingtothecamera.
3.Installthewallbracketonawall,ceiling,orpoleusingscrewsandplugsappropriatefor
thematerial(e.g.wood,metal,sheetrock,stone).

1.Loosenthecablecoverscrews;detachthecablecoverfromthebottomcover.
2.Removethecap,theplugandthegasketfromthecableglandtobeused.
3.Routethenetworkcablethroughthecap.
4.Slidethenetworkcablethroughtheslitinthegasket.
5.Routethenetworkcablethroughthecablegland.
.Pressthegasketintothecableglandandscrewthecaponrmly.
AttachCameratoWallBracket
1.Placethecamerawiththebottomcoveronthewallbracketandtightenthebracket
screws.
2.Replacethecablecoverandtightenthescrews.
3.Connectthecables,seeConnecttheCables.
4.Loosenthebracketadjustmentscrewtopointthecameraintherightdirection.See

5.Attachthesafetywireinthetopcovertothetabinthebottomcover.
