The BaByliss i pro 230 straightening iron is specially

Created using nanotechnology, the straightener
heating plates have a new Ceramic and Titanium
micro particle coating.

the latest in heating technology that lets it heat

To Straighten Your Hair
• Before straightening, wash and towel dry your
hairthencombthroughwithalarge-toothcomb
tountangle.
• Divide your hair into sections. Lift the upper
sectionsusingclipssothatyoucanworkwiththe
sectionsunderneath.
• PlugintheBaBylisspro230WetN’Dryandpush
theOn/Offbutton.Theredindicatorlightcomes
onandwillstarttoash.Thersttimeyouuse
the unit, you may notice a little steam and a
particularodor:thisiscommonandwilldisappear
thenexttimeyouuseit.
• Select the desired temperature using the
temperature control. Generally, we recommend
theunit beset to alower temperatureforne,
bleached and/or damaged hair, and a higher
temperature for curly, thick and/or difcult to
style hair. Every hair type is different, so we
recommendyouuseposition1thersttimeyou
straighten.Youcangraduallyincreasethesetting
graduallyoverthenextusesifnecessary.Usethe
tablebelowasaguide:
Temperature Hair Type
130–160°C Fine,bleachedand/ordamagedhair
160–200°C Normal,coloredand/orwavyhair
200–230°C Thickand/orverycurlyhair
• Allow the straightener to heat up for about a
minute.Theredindicatorlightwillstopashing
when the unit has heated up to the selected
temperature. Your straightener is now ready to
use;theredindicatorlightwillstayon.
• Takeasectionofhairabout2to3cmwideandplace
it between the 2 heating plates close to the roots.
• Pressthe straightenerhandles together, holdto
keep the section between the plates and glide
slowly from the roots to the tips.
• After use, press the ‘0’ button and unplug the
straightener. Allow it to cool completely before storing.

• Ifthepowercordisdamaged,itmustbereplaced
by the manufacturer, its after-sales service or
similarlyqualiedpersontoavoidahazard.
• Donotusetheunitifithasfallenorifitappears
to be damaged.
• Do not leave the unit unattended when it is
pluggedinorswitchedon.
• Unplugtheunitimmediatelyifyouhaveproblems
whenusingit.
• Do not use any accessories other than those
recommendedbyBaByliss.
• Donotleavetheunitpluggedintothemainsfor
longerthan24hours.
• Unplug the unit after each use and before
cleaning it.
• Avoidanycontactbetweentheunit’shotsurfaces
andyourskin,inparticular,yourears,eyes,face
and neck.
• This unit is not intended for use by people
(including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or by persons
who lack experience or knowledge, unless they
are supervised or have been given instructions
beforehand on the use of the unit by a person
responsible for their safety. Children should be
supervised to make sure they do not treat the
unitlikeatoy.
• Allowtheunittocoolbeforestoring.
• If this appliance has been failure or damage,
do not attempt to repair the appliance. Return
