FLEXIVISION III - Advanced imaging platform
Barco’s FLEXIVISION III product family offers a range of hardware and software solutions
that allow you to mix a variety of sensors for single display viewing, digitally record the
resultant image or perform image processing on the sensor images.
This new imaging platform is available in VME and PCI form factors. FLEXIVISION III is the
latest imaging platform that will solve all of your video and imaging requirements.
Barco’s video solutions offer more than meets the eye. They connect directly to
your sensor and process image data to ensure that what you see is accurate and
reliable. Coupled with our advanced solutions for digital RGB recording and networked
distribution and display of radar and video information, image management is at your
finger tips.

RDDS – Radar Distribution and Display System
RDDS is Barco’s state-of-the-art solution for networked distribution and display of
radar information. The RDDS server is capable of processing multiple radar videos and
distributing them simultaneously over today’s industry standard networks to up to 32
clients. A single network wire can now replace complex and bulky analog cabling and
switching hardware.

Barco offers 6 different rugged display platforms to meet your needs. Models
within each platform are designed to solve specific problems for land, air or sea
applications. Some are more suited for direct view Command & Control, some for imaging

Barco’s high-end rugged workstations and consoles are designed to perform in the
most demanding Command & Control environments. Their modular concept allows for
a high degree of customization and expandability, while keeping costs to a minimum.
MRDS - Modular Rugged Display Station
The Modular Rugged Display Station (MRDS) constitutes the core components of the
MICROVISTA, but in a form factor that is easily console or bulkhead mounted, rather than
deployable. Consisting of two modules, one a display module (DM), the other a display
processing module (DPM), a large number of configurations is possible.
The DPM is based on a unique, modular and open architecture, offering a range of
configurations to meet customer requirements. This includes network, peripheral
and sensor interfaces, extended storage media and uninterruptible power supply
capabilities.

MICROVISTA - Deployable rugged workstation
The MICROVISTA is an advanced deployable workstation for operation in mission-
critical environments. The multi-functional MICROVISTA workstation combines high-end,
embedded computing power with rugged display technology into a functional, single
person transportable operator station.
Depending on their application, users can opt for a rugged display, ranging from 17”
to 20” and with resolutions up to 1600x1200, all from Barco’s existing range of field-
proven rugged modules. MICROVISTA is available in tabletop or bulkhead configuration.

VISTA 4000 – COTS console family
Barco’s VISTA 4000 console series offers fully functional, ergonomic rugged working
positions for the most demanding Command & Control applications. Designed
for operation in naval environments, the VISTA 4000 series offers a wealth of HMI
configurations and low or high-end environmental specifications.
