1. Turning On / Off
TurningOn
Press and hold the power switch for 3 seconds untilthe blue LED power indicator light is
lit up.
Do not press the power switch repeatedly.
Do not perform the following operations until the hard drive indicator turns off
oConnecting or disconnecting the AC adapter
oPressing the power switch
oTouching the tablet buttons, screen, or external keyboard/mouse
TurningOff
Perform thefollowing procedure to shutdown the Tablet Computer:
1. Make sure you have closed every program that is open on the Desktop.
Start Screen apps don’t need tobe closed.
2. Openthe CharmsBar by swiping your finger from the far right ofthe screen
towards the middle of the screen.
3. Tab on the Settings charm.
4. Tab on Power.
5. Tab on Shut Down.
6. Wait for Tablet Computer to power off.
The computer will forcefully be turned off if the power switch is pressed
and held for six seconds or longer.

2. Using Recovery Wizard to Restore Computer
The tablet computer has a dedicate recovery partition stored on the hard drive of the
tablet to
enable quick one-key recovery process. This partition occupies about 11GB of
the storage space,
andcomes built-intoeachtabletcomputer.
CAUTION
Before starting the recovery process, be sure to backup all user data, as all
data will be lost afterthe recovery process.
Pleaseperformthisactionin thesafezone
Followthe procedurebelowtoenablequickone-keyrecoveryprocedure:
1. Plug-intheAC adaptertotabletcomputer.Makesurethe tabletcomputer
stayspluggedin
topowersourceduringtherecoveryprocess.
2. Turnonthetabletcomputer, whenthebootscreenshows up,press the
Fn1 button
(Recovery Key)on thefront bezelOR pressF6 whenusing an
externalUSBkeyboardto
initiatetheRecoveryWizard.
3. ThefollowingscreenshowstheRecoveryWizard.Clickon “Recovery”button
tocontinue.
4. A warning messageaboutdataloss will pop up. Make sure that you
have done a Backup before
recovery,andclickon “Yes”to continue.

5. Wait up to the recovery processhas finished. During the recovery
process, a command prompt will show up to indicate the percent of
recovery process. After recovery is completed (finished), the tablet
computer will restart automatically.
3. Access BIOS System
1. Plug AC Adapter Connector, USB boot disk, and USB keyboard to the Tablet
PC.
We recommend using an external USB Hub with external power supply.
2. Power on the Tablet PC.

3. Press ESC key to enter BIOS Setup Menu.
4. Use direction keys on keyboard to move to the different submenus.
DANGER
We highly recommend to not change settings in the BIOS menu.
Changes can make the Agile X inoperable.
