Warranty Details
The product is guaranteed to be free from defects in
workmanship and parts for a period of 12 months from
the date of purchase. Defects that occur within this
warranty period, under normal use and care, will be
repaired, replaced or refunded at our discretion. The
benefits conferred by this warranty are in addition to all
Rights and remedies in respect of the product that the
consumer has under the Competition and Consumer Act
2010 and similar state and territory laws.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be
excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are
entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and
to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable
loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods
repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable
quality and the failure does not amount to a major
failure.

Battery Charging
• While your device is charging, keep it at
room temperature for efficient charging.
• The new battery in your device is not
fully charged.
• New batteries, or batteries that are
stored away for a long time, may take
longer to charge.

Third party Accessories
• Using third party accessories, including
but not limited to covers, screen
protectors, cases and batteries may
alter the devices performance.
• Using a non-Bauhn charger or
battery may increase the risk of fire,
explosions, leaks or other dangerous
reactions.
• Bauhn’s warranty does not cover
any damage done by third party
accessories.

primary responsibility while you are
operating a vehicle.

Allergens
• Bauhn avoids using known allergens in
our products.
• However, trace amounts of an
allergen may be added during the
manufacturing process of the device,
which could cause discomfort in some
individuals.
• It is recommended that you observe
any products that may be in close
contact with your skin for a prolonged
period of time, and remove immediately
if any irritation occurs.

Use & Care
To Care for your Bauhn device, please observe
the following instructions:
• Liquids: Do not expose your device to
rain, water, sweat, extreme humidity or
any other liquids.
• Drying: Do not dry your device
using a dryer, microwave oven or a
conventional oven.
• Extreme Temperatures: With your
device, avoid temperatures below
-10˚C (14˚F) or above 60˚C (140˚F). For
accessories powered by batteries, do
not recharge in temperatures below 0˚C
(32˚F) or above 45˚C (113˚F).
• Dust & Dirt: Do not expose your device
to dust, dirt, food, sand or any other
similar materials.

• Cleaning: To clean your device, only use
a soft, dry cloth. Do not use any cleaning
products or alcohol based solutions.
• Shock & Vibration: Do not drop the
device or expose it to any kind of
strong vibrations.
• Protection: To help protect the device,
always make sure that all the covers on
the device are closed and secure and
avoid carrying it in an enclosed space
with objects such as keys or coins.
• Medical Devices: If you use an
implantable pacemaker, defibrillator, or
any other medical device, immediately
consult your health care professional
and the device manufacturer’s
directions before using this mobile
device.

Powering ON/OFF
To turn your Smart Watch ON, press the Power
Button for 3-4 seconds. The BAUHN logo
should appear on the screen.
To turn your Smart Watch OFF, press the
Power Button until the Smart Watch starts
shutting Down.
Initial Set Up
When turning the Smart Watch ON for the first
time, you will see the clock interface. Swipe
Left to access the Applications interface and
swipe Left and Right to view all Applications.
NOTE: The time and date will be set after your
Smart Watch is connected and synchronised
with your Smart Phone.

Download and Connect via Bluetooth
Wireless Technology
In order to get the most out of your Smart
Watch, you need to download the Smart
Watch Application. There are different steps to
follow for Android and iOS devices.
For Android Devices
There are two ways to download the App for
android devices, via the Google Play store or
via a QR code.
Download via the Play store
1. Open the Google Play store app.
2. Search for “Mediatek smartdevice”
3. Install the application.

Download using a QR code
1. Go to the Google Play store on your
Smart Phone and Download a QR code
reader.
2. Open the QR reader App that you have
Downloaded.
3. Go to the Applications menu of the Smart
Watch and open the “App download”
Application.
4. Use the QR code reader
on your Smart Phone to
scan the QR code that
will appear in the “App
download” Application.
Alternatively you can scan
the QR code opposite.

NOTE:
• On some Android devices you may need
to enable “unknown sources” to be able
to install your Smart Watch Application.
Do this by going to ‘Settings’ on your
Smart Phone, then ’Security’ and then
enable ‘Unknown Sources’. Use your File
manager app to go to the ‘Downloads
folder’ and install the “MediaTek Smart

a request to access your Android device
phonebook. Grant access in order to give
your Smart Watch access to the contact
list and call history of your Smart Phone.
• If you cannot read messages in your text
message inbox, check the Bluetooth
permissions on your android device.

To Connect Your Android Device via
Bluetooth:
1. Go to the Settings Application on your
Smart Watch and select “Bluetooth
Settings”. Ensure that Power and Visibility
are both set to ON. A small Bluetooth logo
will appear in the top of the Smart Watch
when it is paired or is in pairing mode.
2. Go to your Smart Phone’s “Bluetooth
Connection” Application and select
“ASM3-0816” from the list of available
devices. (For further information about
Bluetooth connectivity, refer to your Smart
Phone’s Instruction Manual.)
3. Your phone and Smart Watch will begin to

pair and will remain connected when the
pairing is successful. The Bluetooth icon
on the top of the screen will turn Blue and
a Headphone symbol will appear when
the devices are successfully connected.
4. When you launch the Smart Watch
Application on your Smart Phone for
the first time, you may be prompted
to activate the “Remote Notifications”
feature on your Smart Phone. Activate
this feature to give your Smart Watch full
access to your Smart Phone.
5. After the app successfully connects to your
Smart Watch the Bluetooth icon on the
Smart Watch will change to Green and Blue.
