
IMPORTANT: IDEALLY YOU SHOULD TURN ON YOUR
HOOD TEN MINUTES BEFORE YOU START TO COOK,
OR AT THE VERY LEAST WHEN YOU BEGIN COOKING.
YOU SHOULD ALSO RUN YOUR HOOD FOR TEN
MINUTES AFTER YOU HAVE FINISHED COOKING.
Setting intensive or normal mode
oYou can set your cooker hood to run in normal or intensive
mode.
oBefore the cooker hood is switched on, press and hold down the
light bulb ON/OFF button for 5 seconds.
oAn “L” or “H” will appear on the LED display. “L” indicates that
the cooker hood will operate in normal extraction mode; “H”
indicates that the cooker hood will operate in intensive extraction
mode.
oIn normal (L) mode you can set a fan speed of between 1 and
6.
oIn intensive (H) mode, you can set a fan speed of between 1
and 5, plus an intensive sixth speed. The hood will operate at the
6th speed for 10-15 minutes and the LED display will flash during
this time. The hood will then revert to speed 5.
Switching on your cooker hood
oUse the ON/OFF button to switch the cooker hood on.
oThe hood will automatically select speed 3 when the hood is first
switched on.
oUse the increase and decrease buttons to regulate the speed
that the motor is running at.
oThe speed level that you have selected will appear on the LED
display.
oIf you have set the cooker hood into intensive mode, then if the
cooker hood is on speed 5 and you press the increase button
again, the booster speed will be selected. The number 6 will
flash on the LED display to confirm that the booster speed is in
use. The hood will revert to speed 5 after 10-15 minutes.
IMPORTANT: You should not leave the appliance operating at
booster speed for prolonged periods of time.
oTo switch the cooker hood off, press the ON/OFF button.
