capable d’écouter et d’échanger avec votre bébé à distance. Mais avant
tout, nous vous invitons à lire attentivement cette notice d’utilisation,
afin d’utiliser notre produit dans les meilleures conditions et de le
conserver surune durée de vie optimale.

I. AVERTISSEMENTS ETPRECAUTIONS D’EMPLOI
Lire et garder ces instructions. Tenir compte de tous les avertissements.
1. AVERTISSEMENTS
POUR EVITER TOUT RISQUE D’ETRANGLEMENT, IL EST ESSENTIEL
DE VERIFIER QUE LE BEBE NE PEUT JAMAIS ATTEINDRE LE CABLE DE
L’ADAPTATEUR. PLACER L’ADAPTATEUR A AU MOINS 1 METRE DE L’ENFANT.
ATTENTION : pour éviter les risques d’explosion, de choc électrique, de court-
circuit ou de surchauffe :
- Ne pas immerger l’unité Parents ou Bébé ou le chargeur dans l’eau et ne pas les
nettoyer sous le robinet.
- Tenez la batterie à l’abri de toute source de chaleur excessive, tels que les
radiateurs, chauffage, fours, cuisinières ou d’autres appareils produisant de la
chaleur.
- Afin d’éviter la surchauffe, ne pas recouvrir l’écoute-bébé avec une serviette,
une couverture, ni aucun autre objet.
Ne pas toucher les contacts de la prise avec des objets pointus ou métalliques.
Lors d’un usage constant, l’adaptateur de l’unité bébé peut devenir chaud au
toucher. Cette réaction est normale et ne doit pas vous inquiéter.
2. Précautions d’emploi
- Utiliser cet appareil seulement pour l’usage décrit dans ce manuel.
- Placer l’unité bébé hors de la portée d’un enfant sur
une surface plane à au moins 1m de la tête de bébé.
- Pour une meilleure performance de votre écoute
bébé et pour réduire les interférences, nous vous
recommandons de ne pas brancher d’autres appareils
électriques dans la même prise de courant que votre
écoute bébé. (Ne pas utiliser de multiprise).
- Avant de brancher l’écoute bébé sur secteur, assurez-vous que la tension
indiquée sur les adaptateurs de l’écoute bébé corresponde à la tension secteur.
- Si l’appareil n’est pas utilisé, l’éteindre via le bouton d’arrêt (OFF).
- Le produit doit être installé par des adultes. Garder les plus petits composants
loin des enfants pendant l’assemblage.

Supervision des adultes
- L’écoute-bébé est destiné à offrir une assistance et apporter une tranquillité
d’esprit supplémentaire. Il ne doit pas être perçu comme un appareil médical
ni comme un substitut à la surveillance d’un adulte. Il ne saurait en aucun cas
remplacer une surveillance responsable et appropriée de la part d’un adulte : il
est fortement recommandé qu’un adulte surveille le bébé régulièrement en plus
de l’écoute-bébé.

- Ne jamais placer l’unité bébé à l’intérieur du berceau, d’un lit ou d’une aire de
jeu.
- Pour leur sécurité, ne pas autoriser les enfants à jouer avec l’écoute bébé.
Précautions de stockage
- Utiliser et ranger l’écoute-bébé à un endroit où la température est comprise
entre 10 °C et 35 ° C.
- Garder l’écoute-bébé dans un endroit à l’abri de la lumière directe du soleil.
- Si vous pensez que la batterie est endommagée, enlevez-là de son
emplacement et arrêtez d’utiliser le produit. Contactez le SAV de BEABA pour
une assistance. Ne jamais utiliser une batterie endommagée.
- Ne pas placer le câble de l’adaptateur dans un endroit où il pourrait s’user
rapidement (humidité/chaleur etc).
Remplacement du matériel
- Utiliser la batterie fournie pour l’unité parents. N’utiliser que les accessoires
fournis par le fabricant : si la batterie est endommagée, elle doit être remplacée
par le fabricant via le SAV: vous pouvez contacter le SAV de BEABA pour
bénéficier d’une assistance et d’éviter tout risque.
- En cas de besoin, vous pouvez utiliser le même type d’adaptateur 220V – 5V
USB (0.5A min)

III.AVANT UTILISATION
1 - Unité bébé
Brancher l’unité bébé sursecteur et placer l’unité bébé
au minimum à 1 mètre de distance avec la tête de bébé
et jusqu’à 2,5 mètres du bébé pour disposer d’une
bonne qualité audio.
L’unité bébé doit rester branchée sur secteur pour fonctionner puisqu’elle ne
dispose pas de batterie.
2 - Unité Parent
Si vous allumez l’unité parent pour la première fois, il faudra la brancher sur
secteur pendant 8h grâce à l’adaptateur fourni * (5V DC/0.55 A) pour la charger.
Si l’unité parent est déjà chargée, vous pouvez l’allumer et l’utiliser directement
sans branchement pour une autonomie de 15h grâce à la batterie Lithium.
Liaison des deux unités et distance d’utilisation
Lorsque l’unité Parent et l’unité bébé sont allumées, la connexion se fait
automatiquement et les deux unités sont immédiatement jumelées.
Portée
50 m intérieur et 300 m en extérieur – la portée en intérieur dépend de la nature
des murs
*adaptateur uniquement disponible sur la version UE. Contacter le SAV pour se
procurer des pieces detachees ou acheter un adaptateur supplementaire.
IV. INSTALLATION ET CONFIGURATION DE L’ECOUTE BEBE
L’unité parent et l’unité bebe sont appairées par défaut. Si pour une raison
quelconque les deux unités ne communiquaient plus, il est possible de les
ré-appairer en suivant les étapes ci-dessous.
- Eteindre les 2 unités parent et bébé.
- Faire un appui long du bouton ON/OFF sur l’unité BEBE, relâcher lorsque
l’indicateur lumineux vert clignote.
- Faire un appui long du bouton ON/OFF sur l’unité PARENT, relâcher lorsque
l’indicateur lumineux de l’unité BEBE s’arrête de clignoter.
Comment appairer une deuxième unité parent à une unité bébé ?
- Eteindre l’unité bébé et la 2ème unité parent
- Faire un appui long du bouton ON/OFF sur l’unité BEBE, relâcher lorsque
l’indicateur lumineux vert passe d’un clignotement rapide à un clignotement
lent.
- Faire un appui long du bouton ON/OFF sur la deuxième unité PARENT, relâcher
lorsque l’indicateur lumineux de l’unité BEBE s’arrête de clignoter.

Fonctions de l’unité parents
Mode Nuit - 0 ondes: une fois activé il permet de couper toute
émission d’onde lorsque l’unité bebe ne détecte pas de bruit.
En mode « nuit » l’alarme de perte de signal ne fonctionne pas .
Le mode nuit est activé lorsque l’indicateur lumineux de l’unité
parent est orange
Fonction Talkie Walkie : appui long sur ce bouton pour
communiquer avec l’unité bebe. Le volume de l’unité BEBE peut
être réglé en utilisant les touches +/- tout en maintenant appuyé
le bouton talkie walkie.

Fonction Veilleuse : la veilleuse peut s’allumer / s’éteindre
depuis l’unité PARENT (pression rapide sur le bouton ON/OFF)
ou depuis l’unité BEBE (3 pressions rapides sur le bouton ON/
OFF). Lorsque la veilleuse est allumée, l’indicateur lumineux de
l’unité parent est plus puissant.
Fonction VOX - 2 modes disponibles : Ajuster la sensibilité
du mode VOX selon vos besoins. Les 2 modes disponibles
permettent de régler la sensibilité du VOX (50-60dB) afin de
s’adapter à l’environnement de bébé. Dans un environnement
très calme, privilégier le réglage Hi (H), si l’unité bébé transmet
des bruits de fond lorsque le bébé dort, utiliser le réglage Low (L)
Fonction recherche unité parent : lorsque l’unité BEBE est
allumée, appuyer brièvement 1 fois sur le bouton ON/OFF pour
faire sonner l’unité PARENT (l’unité PARENT doit être également
allumée)
Contrôle volume : utiliser les boutons +/- pour régler le volume
de l’unité parent. Au niveau minimum l’unité parent sera en mode
silencieux : les diodes lumineuses montreront l’intensité des
sons détectés.
Alerte hors de portée : l’unité BEBE est éteinte ou hors de
portée de l’unité PARENT, l’unité PARENT va biper toutes les deux
secondes. Ce mode n’est pas actif en mode nuit
Alerte batterie faible : lorsque la batterie est presque
déchargée, l’unité parent va biper toutes les 30s et l’indicateur
lumineux sera rouge.
VI. NETTOYAGE ET ENTRETIEN
Avertissement
Ne jamais utiliser de nettoyants chimiques, sprays ou détergents liquides.
- Avant le nettoyage, tous les adaptateurs secteurs doivent être débranchés
- Veiller à avoir les mains sèches avant d’insérer ou de remplacer la batterie
- Nettoyer l’écoute bébé avec un chiffon humide uniquement.
VII. ENVIRONNEMENT ETRECYCLAGE
- Cet appareil a été conçu et fabriqué avec des matériaux et des composants de
haute qualité telles que les batteries Lithium pouvant être recyclés et réutilisés.
- Ne pas jeter ce produit avec les ordures ménagères ordinaires. Se renseigner
sur les dispositions en vigueur dans votre région concernant la collecte séparée
des appareils électriques et électroniques.
Apportez ce produit à un point de collecte pour le recyclage des équipements
électriques et électroniques.

à compter de la date d’achat. Durant cette période, nous garantissons la
réparation gratuite de tout défaut résultant d’un vice matériel ou d’un vice de
fabrication. Cette garantie est soumise à l’évaluation finale de l’importateur.
Si vous avez besoin d’une assistance ou d’informations complémentaires,

Si vous constatez un défaut, consulter tout d’abord le manuel d’utilisation.

RÉSOLUTION DES PROBLÈMES - DIAGNOSTIC DES PANNES – FAQ
Les LED ne s’allument pas
• Veillez à allumer les deux unités
• Vérifier la connexion de l’adaptateur secteur sur la prise et l’unité
• Changer les piles et/ou vérifier la polarité
La LED verte clignote
• L’Unité Parent ne reçoit pas de sons. Augmenter le volume de l’Unité Parent
pour être sûr de bien entendre les bruits de bébé.
La LED rouge clignote
• Clignotant long : Les batteries sont déchargées. Echanger les batteries ou
connecter l’unité au secteur
• Clignotant court : l’appareil est hors de la portée maximum. Réduire la distance
entre l’unité bébé et l’unité parents.
Pas de son malgré la connexion confirmée
• Le volume est réglé trop bas. Appuyer sur le bouton + pour augmenter le
volume.

I. WARNINGS AND PRECAUSTIONS FOR USE
Read and keep these instructions. Heed to the warnings.
1. WARNINGS
TO AVOID ANY RISK OF STRANGULATION, IT IS ESSENTIAL TO CHECK THAT
THE ADAPTOR CABLE IS NEVER WITHIN A CHILD’S REACH. PLACE THE
ADAPTOR AT LEAST 1 METRE FROM THE CHILD.
WARNING: to avoid any risks of explosion, electrical shock, short-circuit
or overheating:
- Never immerse the Parental Unit or Baby Unit or the charger in water or
clean under running water.
- Keep the battery away from any excessive heat source, such as radiators,
heating, ovens, cooking surfaces or other appliances producing heat.
- To avoid overheating, never cover the Baby Monitor with a towel, blanket, or any
other object.
Do not touch the contacts of the plug with pointed or metallic objects.
When in constant use, the adaptor of the Baby Unit may become warm to the
touch. This
is a common effect and not a defect.
2. Precautions for use
- This appliance must only be used for the purpose described in this manual.
- Place the Baby Unit beyond a child’s reach, on a flat
surface and at least 1 m from the child’s head.
- For the best performance of your Audio Baby Monitor
and to reduce interferences, it is not recommended to
plug other electrical appliances into the same electrical
socket as your Baby Monitor. (Do not use a multi
socket).
- Before plugging the Baby Monitor into the mains, check that the voltage
indicated on the Baby Monitor adaptors is consistent with the mains voltage.
- If the appliance is not in use, turn it off using the OFF button.
- The product must be installed by adults. Keep small components away from
children during assembly.

Adult supervision
- The Baby Monitor provides assistance and added peace of
mind. It should not be used as a medical appliance nor as a substitute for adult
supervision. In no circumstances can it replace responsible and appropriate
supervision on behalf of an adult: it is strongly recommended that an adult
supervises baby regularly as well as through the audio Baby Monitor.
- Never leave the home if your child is alone, even for a short time.
- Never place the Baby Unit inside the cot, bed or playpen.
- For their safety, never let children play with the Baby Monitor.
Storing precautions
- Use and store the Baby Monitor in a place where the temperature is between
10°C and 35°C.
- Keep the Baby Monitor away from direct sunlight.
- If you think that the battery is damaged, remove it from the battery well and
stop using the product. Contact BEABA Consumer Services. Never use a
damaged battery.
- Never put the adaptor cable in a place where it could be damaged (humidity/
heat etc.).
Replacement parts
- Use the supplied batteries for the Parental Unit. Only use the accessories
supplied by the
Manufacturer:ifthe batteryis damaged,itmust bereplacedbythemanufacturer
via Consumer Services:

III. BEFORE USE
1 - Baby Unit
Plug the Baby Unit into the mains and place the Baby
Unit at least 1 metre from baby’s head and up to 2.5
metres from baby for a good audio quality
The Baby Unit must remain plugged into the mains to
operate as it does not have a battery.
2 - Parental Unit
When the Parental Unit is switched on for the first time, it must be plugged into
the mains for 8 hours to recharge the supplied adapter (5V DC /0.55 A). If the
Parental Unit is already recharged, you can switch it on and use it directly without
plugging it in thanks to the Lithium battery which provides an autonomy of 15
hours.
Connection between the two units and distance ofuse
When the Parental Unit and the Baby Unit are switched on, the connection is
automatic and both units are immediately paired.

50 m inside and 300 m outside - range inside depends on the thickness of the
walls

IV. INSTALLATION AND CONFIGURATION OF THE BABY MONITOR
The Parental Unit and the Baby Unit are paired by default. If for any reason the
two units no longer communicate, it is possible to re-pair them by following the
steps below.
- Turn off the Parental Unit and the Baby Unit
- Press and hold the ON/OFF button on the Baby Unit, release when the green
light indicator flashes.
- Press and hold the ON/OFF button on the Parental Unit, release when the light
indicated on the Baby Unit stops flashing.
How to pair a second Parental Unit to a Baby Unit?
- Turn the Baby Unit off and the second Parental Unit off
- Press and hold the ON/OFF button on the Baby Unit, release when the green
light goes from flashing quickly to flashing slowly.
- Press and hold the ON/OFF button on the Parental Unit, release when the light
indicator on the Baby Units stops flashing.

Parental Unit functions
Night mode - 0 waves: once activated, it cuts all wave emissions
when the Baby Unit does not detect noise. In «night» mode the
signal loss alarm doesnot work. The night modeis activated when
the light indicator on the Parental Unit is orange
WALKIE-TALKIE FUNCTION: press and hold this button to
communicate with the Baby Unit. The Baby Unit volume can
be adjusted by using the +/- buttons while holding the talk back
button

Night-light function: the night-light can be turned off and on
from the Parental Unit (quick press on the ON/OFF button) or
from the Baby Unit (3 quick presses on the ON/OFF button).
When the night-light is on, the light indicator on the Parental Unit
is stronger.
Function Vox - 2 available modes: Adjust the sensitivity of
the VOX mode according to your needs. The 2 available modes
regulate the sensitivity of the VOX (50-60 dB) to adapt it to
baby’s environment. In a very calm environment, favour the Hi
(H) setting, if the Baby Unit emits background noises when baby
sleeps, use the Low (L) setting
Parental Unit ‘find’ function: when the BABY Unit is turned on,
briefly press the ON/OFF button once to make the PARENTAL
Unit ring (the PARENTAL Unit must also be turned on)
Volume control: use the +/- buttons to adjust the volume of the
Parental Unit. On the minimum level the Parental Unit will be on
silent mode: the light-emitting diodes show the intensity of the
detected sounds.
Out of range alert: the BABY Unit is switched off or if the
PARENTAL Unit is out of range, thePARENTAL Unit will beep every
two seconds. This mode is not active in night mode
Low battery alert: when the battery is nearly flat, the Parental
Unit will beep every 30 seconds and the warning light will be red.
VI. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Warning
Never use chemical detergent, sprays or liquid detergent.
- Before cleaning, all the adaptors must be unplugged
- Hands must be dry before inserting or replacing the battery
- Clean the Baby Audio Monitor with a damp cloth only.
VII. ENVIRONMENTAND RECYCLING
- This appliance has beendesigned and made with materials and components of
high quality such as Lithium batteries which are recyclable and reusable.
- Do not throw this product away with ordinary household waste. Enquire about

VIII. GUARANTEE
The ZEN+ Baby Audio Monitor from BEABA is guaranteed for 24 months from
the date of purchase. During this period, we guarantee that any defects resulting
from materials or construction will be repaired free of charge. This guarantee is
submitted for final evaluation from the importer.
If you need assistance or further information, please consult the Béaba Website
or contact the Beaba Consumer Services.
If you find a defect, first consult the instruction manual.
• Failing a clear response in the instruction manual, contact the supplier of the
Baby Audio Monitor via the website www.beaba.com.
INVALIDITY OF THE GUARANTEE
• In the case of inappropriate use, plugging in error and/or bad positioning of the
battery, use of non-original parts or accessories, negligence as well as defects
caused by humidity, fire, flood, lightening or natural catastrophes;
• In the case of modifications and/or repairs carried out by non-authorized third
parties;
• In the case of inappropriate transport without adequate packaging as well as
in the case
of the absence of the present guarantee card and proof of purchase.
The guarantee does not cover connecting cables, plugs and batteries. All other
responsibility, notably in terms of indirect damage is excluded.

PROBLEM SOLVING -TROUBLESHOOTING -FAQ
The status LED does not light up
• Make sure that both units are switched on.
• Check the connection of the mains adapter to the wall power socket and the
unit.
• Exchange the batteries and/or check the polarity
The status LEDflashes green
• The parentunit receives sounds. Turn up the volume onthe parent unit tomake
sure that you hear the sounds from your baby.
The status LEDflashes red
• Long flashin: Batteries are flat. Replace the batteries or connect the unit to the
power supply.
• Short flashing: maximum range is exceeded. Reduce the distance between the
baby and the parent unit.
No sound transmission despite established connection
• The volume is set too low. Press the + button to increase the volume.
