CONSIGNES IMPORTANTES
DE SÉCURITÉ
Les mesures de sécurité suivantes doivent être suivies lors de
l’utilisation de cet appareil électrique.
1. Avant toute utilisation, vérifier que la tension correspond
à celle indiquée sur la plaque signalétique de l’appareil.
2. Par mesure de sécurité, si le cordon d’alimentation est
endommagé, il doit être remplacé par le fabricant, un
agent de maintenance agréé ou un électricien qualifié.
3. Toujours placer l’appareil sur une surface solide, plane et
de niveau, éloignée de tout point d’eau.
4. Tenir l’appareil hors de portée des enfants.
5. Ne pas laisser les enfants tirer sur le cordon d’alimentation
ni manipuler l’appareil, afin d’éviter toute blessure
corporelle ainsi que tout dommage matériel.
6. Ne pas poser l’appareil sur, dans ou à proximité d’une
source de chaleur (plaques électriques ou au gaz, four,
etc.).
7. Ne pas laisser le cordon pendre d’une table ou d’un
comptoir.
8. Ne pas mettre le cordon au contact de surfaces chaudes.
9. Ne pas faire fonctionner l’unité en même temps que
d’autres appareils à forte consommation d’énergie.

10. En utilisation, faire attention à la vapeur s’échappant de
la sortie vapeur.
11. Toujours utiliser des gants lors de la manipulation des
parties chaudes. En utilisation, éviter à tout moment le
jet de vapeur s’échappant de la sortie vapeur. Après
utilisation, faire attention lors du retrait de la cloche pour
éviter toute brulure causée par la vapeur.
12. L’eau présente dans l’appareil reste chaude après le
refroidissement des autres éléments ; manipuler avec
précaution.
13. Ne pas toucher les parties chaudes (base, unité de
chauffe, cloche, etc.) pour éviter toute brulure.
14. Dans l’idéal, ne pas déplacer l’appareil lorsqu’il est en
fonctionnement. Si le déplacement est nécessaire, faire
preuve d’une grande prudence pour éviter toute brulure.
15. Vérifier que la sortie vapeur n’est pas obstruée. Ne pas
insérer d’objets dans la sortie vapeur.
16. L’utilisation d’accessoires non recommandés ou fournis
par des vendeurs autres que le fabricant présente un
risque d’incendie, de choc électrique ou de blessure.
17. L’appareil ne doit pas être immergé dans l’eau ni dans
un évier.
18. Ne pas surchauffer les aliments.
19. Pour le fonctionnement, remplir le réservoir avec de l’eau
propre uniquement.
20. Toujours débrancher l’appareil de la prise secteur lorsqu’il
est laissé sans surveillance, ou avant le montage, le
démontage ou le nettoyage. Attendre le refroidissement
complet de l’appareil avant le nettoyage.
21. Vérifier la température des aliments avant le service.
22. Cet appareil ne doit en aucun cas être utilisé par des
enfants.

23. Cet appareil n’est pas prévu pour être utilisé par des
personnes dont les capacités physiques, sensorielles
ou mentales sont réduites, ou des personnes dénuées
de l’expérience ou des connaissances nécessaires, sauf
sous surveillance adéquate ou si elles ont pu bénéficier
d’instructions préalables concernant l’utilisation de
l’appareil en toute sécurité et si elles comprennent les
dangers encourus.
24. Ne jamais laisser les enfants jouer avec l’appareil.
25. Cet appareil est prévu pour un usage domestique ou
similaire, comme, par exemple :
• cuisine du personnel dans des boutiques,
bureaux ou autres lieux de travail,

FONCTIONNEMENT
AVANT LA PREMIÈRE UTILISATION
• Déballer tous les éléments de l’appareil.
• Nettoyer tous les éléments (voir la partie « NETTOYAGE ET ENTRETIEN »).
Avant toute utilisation, il est conseillé de nettoyer complètement l’appareil et ses
accessoires.
MISE EN GARDE
À lire avant toute utilisation.
L’appareil propose différentes durées de chauffe, calculées pour un biberon
plastique Béaba standard. Les températures peuvent varier selon les biberons. Il
est en conséquence nécessaire d’adapter la durée en fonction du type de biberon
utilisé :
Biberon à col large Réduire la durée (selon le type de biberon)
Biberon en verre Réduire significativement la durée (selon le type de biberon)

Pour changer la durée de chauffe, tourner le bouton des programmes (vers la
gauche pour réduire, vers la droite pour augmenter). De plus :
• La durée de chauffe des biberons Béaba est programmée pour une température
initiale de 20 °C (68 °F) ou de 5 °C (41 °F). Toute variation dans la température
de départ du contenu aura un impact sur la température finale.
• Si plusieurs cycles de chauffe sont réalisés en l’espace d’une heure, la durée
doit être réduite.
• Pour une température optimale, le biberon doit être retiré dès l’extinction du
témoin lumineux. La fonction de chauffe décrite dans les instructions doit donc
être utilisée avec prudence.
Il est extrêmement important de vérifier la température du contenu du
biberon avant de le donner à l’enfant.
UTILISATION DE L’APPAREIL
Pour faire chauffer un biberon (d’eau ou de lait) ou un petit pot :
• Remplir le réservoir d’eau de la base jusqu’au niveau MAX.
• Placer le support dans l’unité de chauffe.
• Remplir le biberon d’eau ou de lait selon la quantité souhaitée.
• Poser le biberon sur le support.
• Placer la cloche sur la base, puis la tourner dans le sens horaire pour la verrouiller.
• Brancher l’unité.
• Choisir la durée à l’aide du bouton (voir le tableau ci-après ; le réglage « 1 »
correspond à 1 min environ, le réglage « 5 » à 5 min environ).

• Appuyer sur le bouton pour démarrer l’unité.
• La fin du cycle est indiquée par un signal sonore (5 bips) et le clignotement
du témoin lumineux. Appuyer de nouveau sur le bouton pour arrêter le signal
sonore, puis débrancher l’appareil.
• Soulever verticalement la cloche en la tenant par l’anneau isolant pour éviter de
renverser le biberon.
Remarque : avant de servir, visser à fond la tétine et secouer légèrement
le biberon pour homogénéiser la température du lait.
Stérilisation des biberons et accessoires
• Remplir le réservoir d’eau de la base jusqu’au niveau MAX.
• Placer le support dans l’unité de chauffe.
• Vider le biberon puis le placer à l’envers sur le support.
• Placer la cloche sur la base, puis la tourner dans le sens horaire pour la verrouiller.
• Brancher l’unité.
• Positionner le bouton de commande sur « 5 » (5 minutes environ).
• Appuyer sur le bouton pour démarrer l’unité.
• La fin du cycle est indiquée par un signal sonore (5 bips) et le clignotement
du témoin lumineux. Appuyer de nouveau sur le bouton pour arrêter le signal
sonore, puis débrancher l’appareil.
NETTOYAGE ET ENTRETIEN
• Débrancher l’appareil et attendre son refroidissement complet avant tout nettoyage.
• Ne jamais plonger la base dans l’eau pour la nettoyer.
• Essuyer la surface extérieure avec un chiffon mouillé.
• Ne pas utiliser de détergent corrosif, de détergent contenant des poudres
chimiques ni d’éponge métallique pour le nettoyage, sous peine d’endommager
la surface de l’appareil, de réduire sa durée de vie et de provoquer des problèmes
de sécurité.

• Pour éviter tout risque de choc électrique, ne pas toucher les composants au
centre de la plaque chauffante avec des ustensiles pointus ou métalliques.
• Quand l’appareil n’est pas utilisé, le nettoyer, le sécher, puis le placer dans son
emballage et le ranger dans un endroit sec et bien ventilé.
• La cloche et le support biberon peuvent être mis au lave-vaisselle et stérilisés.
• Que ce soit pour la chauffe ou la stérilisation, nous conseillons de changer l’eau
à chaque utilisation.
• Tous les 50 cycles, remplir le réservoir d’eau et de vinaigre blanc ou de détartrant
Béaba pour Babycook (15 ml de vinaigre blanc + 15 ml d’eau).
• Laisser tremper jusqu’à dissolution totale des dépôts calcaires (une nuit).
• Rincer plusieurs fois à l’eau claire.

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using this electrical appliance, the basic safety
precautions below should be followed:
1. Before use, check that the voltage power corresponds to
the one shown on the appliance nameplate.
2. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by
the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified
persons in order to avoid safety hazards.
3. Always place this appliance on a firm, flat and level
surface away from water.
4. Keep the appliance out of children’s reach.
5. Do not allow children to pull the power cord or tamper
with the appliance, to avoid personal injury or damage to
the appliance.
6. Do not place the appliance on or near a hot gas or electric
burner, or in a heated oven.
7. Do not leave the cord hanging over the edge of tables or
counters.
8. Do not let the cord touch hot surfaces.
9. Do not operate the unit at the same time as other
appliances with large power consumption.
10. During use, please be mindful of the steam coming out
of the steam vent.

11. Always use oven gloves when handling hot parts; avoid
hot steam rising from the steam vent at all times when
in use. After use, remove the housing carefully to avoid
being scalded by steam.
12. The water in the appliance remains hot after other parts
of the appliance have cooled down, so please handle
carefully.
13. Do not touch hot parts such as base, heating element,
housing lid etc. to avoid being scalded.
14. Ideally, do not move the appliance while in use. If
necessary, exercise extreme caution to avoid being
scalded.
15. Ensure the steam vent is not blocked and do not insert
foreign objects into the vent.
16. The use of non-recommended attachments or those
sold by vendors other than the manufacturer may cause
fire, electric shock or injury.
17. The appliance must not be immersed in water/ sink.
18. Do not overheat food.
19. Only use clean water in the water tank to operate the unit.
20. Always disconnect the appliance from the power supply
when left unattended and before assembly, disassembly
or cleaning. Before cleaning, let the appliance cool down
completely.
21. Make sure you test the food temperature before serving.
22. This appliance is strictly not for use by children.
23. Appliance should only be used by persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of
experience/ knowledge under proper supervision or
following instructions concerning use of the appliance
in a safe way, assuming understanding of the hazards
involved.

24. Do not allow children to play with the appliance under
any circumstances.
25. This appliance is intended to be used for household and
similar applications, such as:
• Staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other
working environments;
• By clients in hotels, motels and other residential
accommodation;
• Bed and Breakfast-type environments.
OPERATION
BEFORE FIRST USE
• Unpack all of the appliance components.
• Clean all parts (see “CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE”).
Before using this appliance, it is recommended to firstly clean the appliance and
related accessories thoroughly.
IMPORTANT
Read before using.
The device’s various heating time settings have been programmed for a standard
Beaba plastic feeding bottle. Some feeding bottles may present differences in
temperature. Therefore, it is necessary to adjust the device’s heating time to the
type of bottle used:
Wide-neck bottle Reduce heating time (according to the type of bottle)
Glass bottle Greatly reduce heating time (according to the type of bottle)
To change heating time, move the program button (to the left –> decrease/ to the
right –> increase). Also:
• Heating time for a Beaba standard bottle is programmed for an initial temperature
of 20°C (68°F) or 5°C (41°F) and any variation in the initial water temperature will
have an effect on the final temperature.
• In the event of a subsequent heating cycle within an hour, heating time must be
reduced.
• For an optimal temperature, the feeding bottle should be removed when the
light switches off. Therefore, the warming function described in the instructions
should be used with caution.
It is extremely important to always check the temperature of the feeding
bottle contents before giving it to the child.

USING THE APPLIANCE
Warming baby bottle (water or milk) or baby food jar
• Fill the water tank in the base with MAX level water.
• Put the tray into the heating unit.
• Fill baby bottle with desired amount of water or milk.
• Place the baby bottle on tray.
• Put the steam cover on base, then turn clockwise to fix in position.
• Connect unit to power source.
• Choose the setting by turning the knob, referring to the following table (setting 1
is around 1 min, setting 5 is around 5 mins).

• Press the button to start the unit.
• At the end of the cycle, there is an audible signal (5 beeps) and flashing indicator
light. Press the button again and unit will stop beeping, then unplug the appliance.
• Lift the housing vertically by holding the ring to avoid tipping over the milk bottle.
Note: Before drinking, screw the cap tight and shake the bottle lightly to
ensure an even milk temperature.
Sterilizing utensils
• Fill the water tank in the base with MAX level water.
• Put the tray into the heating unit.
• Empty the baby bottle, then stand it upside down on the tray.
• Put the steam cover on the base, then turn clockwise to fix in position.
• Connect unit to power source.
• Turn the knob to setting 5 (around 5 minutes).
• Press the button to start the unit.
• At the end of the cycle, there is an audible signal (5 beeps) and flashing indicator
light. Press the button again and the unit will stop beeping, then unplug the
appliance.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
• Before cleaning, unplug the appliance and allow it to cool down completely.
• Never immerse the housing in water to clean.
• Wipe the outside surface with a wet cloth.
• Do not use corrosive detergent, detergent with chemical powders or hard metal
wire mesh to clean, as this will damage the appliance surface, affect the service
life and cause safety problems.
• Do not use sharp items or metal tools to touch components in the middle of the
heating plate, as this may cause electric shock.
• When not in use, clean and dry the appliance, and then put it into the packing
box and store in a dry place with good ventilation.
• Steam cover and baby bottle tray are dishwater safe and can be sterilized.
• We recommend you use fresh water to warm milk or sterilize utensils for every use.
• Every 50 cycles, fill the tank with water and white vinegar or the Béaba cleaning
product for Babycook (15ml white vinegar +15ml water).
• Leave to soak until deposits have completely disintegrated (one night).
• Rinse with clear water several times.

BELANGRIJKE
VOORZORGSMAATREGELEN
Bij het gebruik van dit elektrische apparaat, moeten de volgende
standaard veiligheidsvoorschriften opgevolgd worden:
1. Controleer, vóór het gebruik, of de netspanning
overeenkomt met het op het apparaat vermelde nominale
vermogen.
2. Als het snoer beschadigd raakt, moet het vervangen
worden door de
fabrikant , een erkend servicecenter
of overige gekwalificeerde personen om gevaar te
voorkomen.
3. Plaats het apparaat altijd op een stevige, vlakke en
horizontale ondergrond op afstand van water.
4. Houd het apparaat buiten het bereik van kinderen.
5. Laat kinderen nooit aan het snoer trekken of het apparaat
aanraken om verwondingen of schade aan het apparaat
te voorkomen.
6. Plaats het apparaat nooit in de nabijheid van een heet
gasfornuis of elektrische kookplaten of in een warme oven.
7. Laat het snoer niet over de rand van tafels of aanrechten
hangen.

9. Laat het apparaat niet tegelijkertijd werken met overige
apparaten die veel stroom verbruiken.
10. Pas tijdens het gebruik op de stoom die uit het stoomgat
kan ontsnappen.
11. Gebruik altijd ovenwanten om de hete onderdelen vast
te pakken; vermijd altijd de hete stoom die tijdens de
werking uit het stoomgat opstijgt. Verwijder de behuizing
voorzichtig na het gebruik om door stoom veroorzaakte
brandwonden te voorkomen.
12. Het water in het apparaat blijft heet zelfs als de andere
onderdelen afgekoeld zijn. Ga dus uiterst voorzichtig te werk
13. Raak de hete onderdelen zoals het onderstel, het
verwarmingselement, de deksel enz. niet aan om
brandwonden te voorkomen.
14. Voorkom het apparaat te verplaatsen tijdens de werking.

15. Controleer of het stoomgat niet is afgesloten en steek

16. Het gebruik van niet aanbevolen accessoires of accessoires
die verkocht worden door andere merken kan brand,
elektrische schokken of verwondingen veroorzaken.
17. Het apparaat mag niet in water ondergedompeld worden.
18. Verhit het voedsel niet overmatig.
19. Gebruik uitsluitend schoon water in het waterreservoir
om het apparaat te laten werken.
20. Haal de stekker van het apparaat altijd uit het stopcontact
als u het onbeheerd achterlaat of alvorens het in of uit
elkaar te halen of te reinigen. Laat het apparaat volledig
afkoelen alvorens het te reinigen.
21. Controleer altijd de temperatuur van de voeding alvorens
het aan uw kindje te geven.

22. Dit apparaat mag niet door kinderen gebruikt worden.
23. Dit apparaat kan gebruikt worden door personen met
lichamelijke, zintuiglijke of verstandelijke beperkingen of
zonder ervaring/kennis bij voldoende toezicht en als ze
de juiste aanwijzingen en uitleg met betrekking tot een
veilig gebruik verstrekt krijgen en ze de bijbehorende
gevaren begrijpen.
24. Laat kinderen onder geen enkele omstandigheden met
het apparaat spelen.
25. Dit apparaat is bestemd voor huishoudelijk gebruik en
vergelijkbare toepassingen zoals:
• In personeelskeukens in winkels, kantoren en
overige werkomgevingen;
• Door klanten in hotels, motels en overige
accommodaties;
• In Bed and Breakfast-type omgevingen.
BEDIENING
VÓÓR HET EERSTE GEBRUIK
• Haal alle onderdelen van het apparaat uit de verpakking.
• Reinig alle onderdelen (zie “REINIGING EN ONDERHOUD”).
We raden het aan om het apparaat en de bijbehorende accessoires, vóór het
eerste gebruik, grondig te reinigen.
BELANGRIJK
Te lezen vóór gebruik.
De diverse opwarmtijden van het apparaat werden geprogrammeerd voor een
standaard kunststof Beaba zuigfles. Bij het gebruik van andere zuigflessen kan de
temperatuur afwijken. Hierdoor is het noodzakelijk de opwarmtijd aan te passen
aan het type gebruikte zuigfles:

Verdraai, om de opwarmtijd te wijzigen, de programmeerknop (naar links –>
verlagen / naar rechts –> verhogen). Tevens:
• De opwarmtijd voor een standaard Beaba fles is geprogrammeerd voor een
begintemperatuur van 20°C (68°F) of 5°C (41°F). Afwijkende begintemperaturen
van het water zijn van invloed op de eindtemperatuur.
• Bij een tweede opwarmcyclus binnen een uur, moet u een kortere opwarmtijd
instellen.
• Om een optimale temperatuur te verkrijgen moet de zuigfles verwijderd worden
zodra het lampje uitgaat. De in de aanwijzingen beschreven opwarmfunctie
moet dus voorzichtig gebruikt worden.
Het is absoluut noodzakelijk altijd de temperatuur van de fles te controleren
alvorens uw kindje te voeden.
GEBRUIK VAN HET APPARAAT
Opwarmen van zuigflessen (water of melk) of van potjes
• Vul het waterreservoir op het onderstel tot het MAX peil.
• Plaats het rek in de verwarmingsunit.
• Vul de zuigfles met de gewenste hoeveelheid water of melk.
• Plaats de fles op het rek.
• Plaat de stoomdeksel op het onderstel, draai het in de richting van de wijzers
van de klok om het vast te zetten.
• Stop de stekker in het stopcontact.
• Stel de tijd in door de knop te draaien en baseer u hierbij op de onderstaande
tabel (stand 1 komt overeen met circa 1 min, stand 5 met circa 5 min).

• Druk op de knop om het apparaat in te schakelen.
• Aan het eind van de cyclus wordt er een geluidssignaal (5 piepjes) weergegeven
en knippert het indicatielampje. Druk opnieuw op de knop om het piepen te
stoppen en haal vervolgens de stekker uit het stopcontact.
• Til de behuizing verticaal op via de ring om te voorkomen dat de zuigfles kantelt.
Opm.: draai, vóór het drinken, de dop vast en schud de fles zachtjes om
een homogene temperatuur te verkrijgen.
Steriliseren van accessoires
• Vul het waterreservoir op het onderstel tot het MAX peil.
• Plaats het rek in de verwarmingsunit.
• Leeg de zuigfles en zet het omgekeerd op het rek.
• Plaats de stoomdeksel op het onderstel, draai het in de richting van de wijzers
van de klok om het vast te zetten.
• Stop de stekker in het stopcontact.
• Draai de knop op stand 5 (circa 5 minuten).
• Druk op de knop om het apparaat in te schakelen.
• Aan het eind van de cyclus wordt er een geluidssignaal (5 piepjes) weergegeven
en knippert het indicatielampje. Druk opnieuw op de knop om het piepen te
stoppen en haal vervolgens de stekker uit het stopcontact.
REINIGING EN ONDERHOUD
• Haal, voor het reinigen, de stekker uit het stopcontact en laat het apparaat
volledig afkoelen.
• Dompel de behuizing nooit in water onder om het te reinigen.
• Veeg de buitenzijde schoon met een vochtige doek.
• Gebruik geen bijtende of schurende reinigingsmiddelen, reinigingsmiddelen op
basis van chemische poeders of staalwol om het apparaat te reinigen daar dit het
oppervlak beschadigt, de levensduur beperkt en tevens veiligheidsproblemen
kan veroorzaken.

• Raak het midden van de verwarmingsplaat nooit aan met scherpe voorwerpen
of metalen gereedschap, daar dit elektrische schokken kan veroorzaken.
• Reinig en droog het apparaat af zodra u het niet meer gebruikt en berg het op in
de verpakking op een droge, goed geventileerde plaats.
• De stoomdeksel en het flessenrek zijn geschikt voor de vaatwasmachine en
kunnen gesteriliseerd worden.
• We raden het aan om bij elk gebruik schoon water te gebruiken om de melk op
te warmen of accessoires te steriliseren.
• Vul het reservoir om de 50 cycli met water en witte azijn of het Beaba
ontkalkingsmiddel voor de Babycook (15ml witte azijn + 15ml water).
• Laat dit inwerken totdat de kalkaanslag volledig opgelost is (een nacht).
• Spoel vervolgens meerdere keren met schoon water.
