must be returned to offcal collecton pont for
recyclng of electrcal and electronc devces. To
fnd these collecton systems please contact to
your local authortes or retaler where the product
was puchased. Each household performs
mportant role n recoverng and recyclng of old
applance. Approprate dsposal of used applance
helps prevent potental negatve consequences
for the envronment and human health .

3Indvdual parts / accessores
3.1 Intended use
The applance was desgned to be used n houses,
and s not ft for ndustral use.
3.2 Flexble hose
Flexble hose (7) s the connecton between the
applance and metal telescopc ppe.
1. Insert the flexble hose wth flexble connecton
port (7) nto the sucton ntake (8) on the
applance untl t fts securely.
2. Attach the other end of the flexble hose
(Cleanng handle) onto the metal telescopc
ppe.
3.3 Mult step metal telescopc
ppe
1. Metal telescopc ppe (3). You can adjust ths by
sldng the lock swtch forwards and extendng
the ppe to the requred length.
2. Release the lock swtch to lock the ppe.
3.4 Brush
The vacuum cleaner s suppled wth a hgh qualty
mult-floor brush whose heght can be adjusted
accordng to the thckness of the carpet.
Sutable for all types of carpets as well as hard
floors and s adjustable by foot.
1. Push the mult-floor brush (1) onto the
telescopc ppe (3).
2. Alter the swtch on the mult-floor brush
dependng on the carpet thckness.
3.5 Small brush
Use small brush (19) to clean furnture and pcture
frames. It can rotate up to 90°.
•Push the small brush drectly onto the cleanng
handle (9).
•Push the small brush onto the metal telescopc
ppe (3) to obtan a better reach.
3.6 Narrow crevce tool
Use the narrow crevce tool (20) to clean places
whch are narrow and dffcult to reach.
1. Push the narrow crevce tool drectly onto the
cleanng handle (9).
2. Push the narrow crevce tool onto the metal
telescopc ppe (3) to obtan a better reach.

4Preparaton and usage
Make sure that the supply voltage ndcated on
the ratng plate (under the applance) conforms to
the local supply voltage.
4.1 Preparaton
Your applance s suppled wth a dust bag already
ftted. Once you have assembled the ndvdual
parts the applance s ready to use.
1. Push the plug-n contact of the elastc hose (6)
n the socket (8) provded on the dust contaner
untl t latches nto place.
AWARNING:
To remove the elastc
hose (6) press the sde release
buttons on the plug-n contact and
then pull out the hose.
2. Attach the other end of the flexble hose onto
the metal telescopc ppe (3).
3. Attach the requred brush or accessores to the
lower end of the metal telescopc ppe (3).
AWARNING:
Ft together all the
plug-n connectons wth a push and
turn movement and undo them wth
a pull and turn movement.
4.2 Swtchng on and off
1. Pull out the required length of power cord.
AWARNING:
The maxmum cable
length s ndcated by a red mark.
Never try to pull out the power cord
beyond the red mark.
2. Plug the power cord plug nto the wall socket.
3. Swtchontheapplancebypressngpushbutton
(14).
4. Set the required suction power with control
switch (15).
5. After use, press (14) button to switch off the
appliance and remove the power cord plug from
the socket.
AWARNING:
If the applance s not
beng used, always dsconnect the
mans plug at the wall socket.

4Preparaton and usage
4.3 Ar slder
You can adjust the ar slder (5) on the cleanng
handle wth your thumb. If the slder (5) s closed
completely, max. sucton power s attaned.
In some cases such as cleanng upholstery, fabrc
or plush carpets, t may be necessary to decrease
the sucton power. If ths s the case, open the ar
slder as requred.
4.4 Dust bag full ndcator
Ths ndcator (17) shows the fullness level of the
dust bag. If the ndcator shows a fullness level
above 50%, you must change the dust bag.
4.5 Rewnd power cord
1. Unplug the power cord plug from the wall
socket.
2. Hold the power cord n one hand, and press and
hold the button (16).
3. Carefully gude the power cord back nto the
applance.

WARNING: Always rewnd the
power cord wth care as pressng
one sde of the button (16) and a
hgh rewndng speed can cause
unforeseeable cable movements.

5Cleanng and mantenance
Swtch off and unplug the applance ,before
cleanng t.
AWARNING:
Never use gasolne,
solvent, abrasve cleanng agents,
metal objects or hard brushes to
clean the applance.
5.1 Changng the dust bag
If the ndcator (17) on the dust contaner changes
to red you must change the dust bag.
1. Unplug the power cord plug from the wall
socket.
2. Open the dust contaner by pressng the front
cover release button (8) and lft up the cover.
3. Push the flter bracket forward.
4. Seal the dust bag by pushng the tab of the
cardboard renforcement nto the openng.
5. Dispose of the sealed dust bag.
AWARNING:
Do not try to empty
and reuse the dust bag.
6. Insert a new dust bag in the bracket.
7. Close the cover of the dust container.

WARNING: Test the applance
after changng the dust bag. If the
ndcator (17) s stll red, the tools,
hoses or flter are blocked (see
followng secton).
A
WARNING: Never start up the
applance wthout a dust bag. The
cover of the dust contaner cannot
be closed unless a dust bag has
been nserted.
5.2 Cloth dust bag
If you are usng cloth dust bags nstead of paper
ones, you may empty and reuse the bag several
tmes.
•Cleanng the cloth dust bag:
1. Hold the cloth dust bag upside down over a
trash can. Push the clips sideways to remove it.
2. Shake the dust bag to pour its content into the
trash can.
3. Wash the cloth bag by hand in lukewarm water.
Leave it to dry after washing and do not use it
unless it is dry.
4. Push the clips under the dust bag to close the
bag.
5. If you are usng a cloth dust bag, we recommend
you to wash the motor protecton flter every
sx months n cold water. Ensure that the flter
s completely dry before nstallng t back to the
applance.
5.3 Cleanng or replacng the
flter

flter must be nserted before
startng up the applance as
otherwse the motor wll be
damaged.
