1.1 Overview
Important Safety Instructions Read Carefully
And Keep For Future Reference This section
contains safety instructions that will help pro-
tect from risk of fire, electric shock, exposure
to leak microwave energy, personal injury or
property damage. Failure to follow these in-
structions shall void any warranty.
•Beko products comply with the applicable
safety standards; therefore, in case of any
damage on the appliance or power cable,
it should be repaired or replaced by the
dealer, service center or a specialist and
authorized service alike to avoid any dan-
ger. Faulty or unqualified repair work may
be dangerous and cause risk to the user.
•This appliance is intended to be used in
household and similar applications such
as:
– Staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and
other working environments;
– Farm houses
– By clients in hotels, and other residential
type environments;
– Bed and Breakfast type environments.
•Operate the appliance for its intended pur-
pose only as described in this manual.
•The manufacturer cannot be held liable for
damages resulting from improper installa-
tion or misuse of the product.
•This appliance can be used by children
aged from 8 years and above and persons
with reduced physical, sensory or men-
tal capabilities or lack of experience and
knowledge if they have been given super-
vision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance in a safe way and understand the
hazards involved.
•Children shall not be allowed play with the
appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance
shall not be made by children without su-
pervision.
•The minimum distance between the sup-
porting surface for the cooking vessels on
the hob and the lowest part of your product
must be at least 65 cm.
•If the instructions for installation for the gas
hob specify a greater distance, this has to
be taken into account.
•Make sure that your mains power supply
complies with the information supplied on
the rating plate of the appliance.
•Never use the appliance if the power cable
or the appliance itself is damaged.
•Prevent damage to the power cable by not
squeezing, bending, or rubbing it on sharp
edges. Keep the power cable away from
hot surfaces and naked flame.
•Use the appliance with a grounded outlet
only.
WARNING: Do not connect the appli-
ance to the mains until the installation is
fully complete.
•Place the appliance in a way so that the

plug is always accessible.
•Do not touch the lamps if they have oper-
ated for a long time. They can burn your
hands since they will be hot.
•Follow the regulations set out by compe-
tent authorities on discharge of the exhaust
air (this warning is not applicable for use
without flue).
•Operate your appliance after putting a pot,
pan etc. on the hob. Otherwise, high heat
may cause deformation in some parts of
your product.
•Turn off the hob before taking the pot, pan
etc. from it.
•Do not leave hot oil on the hob. Pans with
hot oil may cause self combustion.
•Pay attention to your curtains and covers
since oil may catch fire while cooking food
such as fries.
•Grease filter must be replaced at least
monthly. Carbon filter must be replaced at
least every 3 months.
•Product shall be cleaned accordance with
user manual. If cleaning was not carried
out in accordance with user manual, there
may be fire risk.
•Do not use non-fire-resistant filtering ma-
terials instead of the current filter.
•Only use the original parts or parts recom-
mended by the manufacturer.
•Do not operate the product without the fil-
ter and do not remove the filters while the
product is running.
•In the event of be started any flame,
de-energize your product and cooking ap-
pliances.
•In the event of be started any flame, cover
the flame and never use water to extin-
guish.
•Unplug the appliance before each cleaning
and when the appliance is not in use.
•The negative pressure in the environment
should not exceed 4 Pa (4 x 10 bar) while
the hood for electric hob and appliances
running on another type of energy but elec-
tricity operate simultaneously.
•In the environment where the appliance is
being used, the exhaust of devices running
on fuel oil or gas, such as room heater
must be absolutely isolated or device must
be hermetical type.
•When connecting the flue, use pipes with a
diameter of 120 or 150 mm. Pipe connec-
tion must be as short as possible and have
as few elbows as possible.
Danger of choking! Keep all the
packaging materials away from children.
CAUTION: Accessible parts may be-
come hot when used with cooking appli-
ances.
•The product outlet must not be connected
to air channels that include other smoke.
•The ventilation in the room may be insuf-
ficient when the hood for electric hob is

used simultaneously with the devices op-
erating on gas or other fuels (this may not
apply to appliances that only discharge the
air back into the room).
•Objects placed on the product may fall. Do
not place any objects on the product.
•Do not flambe under the your product.
WARNING: Before installing the Hood,
remove the protective films.
•Never leave high naked flames under the
hood when it is in operation
•Deep fat fryers must be continuously mon-
itored during use: overheated oil can burst
into flames.
1.2 Compliance with the WEEE Di-
rective and Disposing of the Waste
Product:
This product complies with EU WEEE Direc-
tive (2012/19/EU). This product bears a clas-
sification
symbol for waste electrical and electronic
equipment (WEEE).
This symbol indicates that this
product shall not be disposed with
other household wastes at the end
of its service life. Used device must
be returned to offical collection point for re-
cycling of electrical and electronic devices.
To find these collection systems please con-
tact to your local authorities or retailer where
the product was puchased. Each household
performs important role
in recovering and recycling of old appliance.
Appropriate disposal of used appliance helps
prevent potential negative consequences for
the environment and human health.

3 Using the Device
3.1 Device Control
(1) Lamp On / Off You can illuminate the cooking space by pressing this button. Press this button
again to turn off illumination.
(2) 1. Level Key By pressing this button, you enable the device to operate at the 1st speed level.
When you press this button again to turn off the device, the screen and the
speed level areclosed.
(3) 2. Level Key By pressing this button, you enable the device to operate at the 2nd speed level.
When you press this button again to turn off the device, the screen and the
speed level areclosed.
(4) 3. Level Key By pressing this button, you enable the device to operate at the 3rd speed level.
When you press this button again to turn off the device, the screen and the
speed level areclosed.
(5) Intensive Ventilation
Mode
When the product is turned to Intensive speed level while using, the intense
speed level light will flash. This means that the intensive ventilation mode is
active on the product. The product will run in this mode for 7 minutes and
will automatically switch to a lower speed level after 7 minutes and continue
working. You can cancel this function by pressing this button again or selecting
a different speed level.
3.2 Efficient Use in terms of
Energy Saving
•To prevent unnecessary energy consump-
tion while using the device, adjust the speed
levels according to the odor and vapor den-
sity.
•Normally use low speeds (1-2) in case of
strong odor and high speeds (3) in case of
vapor condensation.
•The lamps in the device are placed to illumi-
nate the cooking space.
The use of lamps in lighting the environment/
kitchen will cause
unnecessary energy consumption and insuf-
ficient lighting.
3.3 Using the Hood
•The device has an engine with various
speeds.
•In order for the device to perform well, we
recommend using low speeds under nor-
mal conditions and high speeds in case of
strong odor and vapor condensation.
•You can operate the device by pressing one
of the speed adjustment buttons that you
want. (2, 3, 4)
•You can illuminate the cooking space by
pressing the lamp.
3.4 Automatic Stop
Your device has the feature of Automatic Stop
for the unwanted odor and vapor left in the
environment after the cooking process is fin-
ished and for the device to turn itself off by
performing ventilation for a while. The oper-
ation of automatic stop feature is as follows;
If you press any speed button (2, 3, 4) on the
control panel for more than 2 seconds, the
15 minute stop timer function will be activat-
ed. When you press the same speed button

3.6 Chimney Mounted Use
•Vapors are discharged
through the flue pipe fixed
to the connection head on
the device.
•The diameter of the flue pipe should be
equal to the connecting ring. In hori-
zontal arrangements, the pipe should
be slightly inclined upwards (about 10º)
in order to let the air out of the room
easily.
3.7 Chimney Free Use
•The air is filtered through
the carbon filter and sent
back to the room. Carbon
filter is used in cases where
it is impossible not to have a chimney in
the house.

while the auto stop feature is activated, the
auto stop function will be disabled and the
engine of the device will stop. This feature
will be disabled when you switch to different
speed levels. In order for your device to stop
automatically, it is necessary to activate the
automatic stop feature again.
3.5 Lamp change
If the lamp of your device fails, contact the
authorized service for lamp replacement.
•When using chimney free, remove the
flaps on the flue adapter.
•Remove the aluminum oil filter. To install
the carbon filter, center the carbon filter
on the tabs on the plastic part on both
sides of the fan body. Tighten by turning
to the right or to the left.
•Reinstall the aluminum oil filter.

Unplug the device or turn off
the switch before cleaning
and maintenance.
4.1 Cleaning of Aluminum Oil
Filters
The aluminum oil filter serves to retain oil par-
ticles in the air. Color change can be observed
as the aluminum oil filter is washed. This is
normal. You don't need to change your filters.
(Figure 3)
•Push the aluminum oil filter lock for-
ward.
•Then lower it slightly and pull it forward
(Figure 3). Otherwise, you can tilt the
aluminum oil filter. Wash and rinse the
aluminum oil filters in water with liquid
detergent and reinstall the aluminum
oil filter in its housing by reversing the
above steps. The aluminum oil filter
serves to retain oil particles in the air.

You can also wash your
aluminum oil filters in the
dishwasher.

CAUTION
Clean the aluminum oil filter
once a month in normal
use.
4 Cleaning and Maintenance
4.2 Replacing Carbon Filters
There are charcoal (activated carbon) in the
deodorizing filters. In all cases, whether or
not a carbon filter is used, aluminum oil filters
must be installed in the product.

•Remove the aluminum oil filter (Figure
3).
•To remove the carbon filter, remove the
carbon filter by turning it counterclock-
wise from the tab (Figure 4).
•Install the new carbon filter.
•Install the aluminum oil filter.

The information required to make the
place you will install the device suitable is
provided below.
(Figure 5)
•Before installing the hood, attention
should be paid to the distance between
the oven and the hood. This distance
should be 65 cm (Figure 5).
•Measurements should be taken from
the surface of the grill in gas hobs.
•Measurements should be taken over
the glass surface in electric ovens.

plate on the line you draw perpendicular
to the wall. Align it horizontally and mark
the holes on which the chimney connec-
tion sheet will be mounted with a pencil
(Figure 7 / a).
Drill the marked points with a Ø6mm drill
and hammer 2 Ø6mm plastic dowels into
these holes (Fig. 7 / a). Secure the chim-
ney connection sheet to the wall with 3.9
x 22 screws (Figure 7 / a).
To drill the hanger holes of the hood, stick
the mounting template to the surface on
which the device will be mounted and
mark the mounting holes (Figure 7 / b).
Drill the hanger holes with a Ø8mm
drill and hammer the dowels (Figure 7 /
b). Screw 2 pieces of 4.8 x 50 hanging
screws with a 5 mm gap between the
screw head and the wall (Figure 7 / b).
5 Device Installation
5.3 Installation of Your Hood on
the Wall
•The wall should be flat, upright and of
sufficient bearing strength.
•The depth of the drill holes should match
the bolt length.
•The attached bolts and dowels are suit-
able for use on walls made of brick. Use
suitable fastening dowels and bolts for
other constructions (e.g. plaster, plate,
porous concrete, etc.).

Before you drill the wall, make
sure that electricity,gas or water
pipes do not pass around the
points you plan to drill.
Draw a center position line perpendicular
to the wall from the ceiling to the lower
edge of the hood (Figure 7).
There is a notch in the middle of the chim-
ney connection plate. Place the midpoint
of this notch on the chimney connection
(Figure 7)

To mount the device on the wall, loosen
the screws of the hanger plates attached
on the motor cabin, pull upwards and then
fix them again.
(Figure 8/A).
Open the side suction glass of the device
and remove the aluminum oil filter
(Page 11 / Figure 3).

5.4 Connecting to the Chimney

Insert the plastic pin (area number 10/2)
on the flap into the pin socket (area num-
ber 10/1) located in the motor outlet.
Then, to install the other pin on the flap,
gently flex the plug and insert it into the
other pin socket (Figure 10).
5 Device Installation
Holding the device by its body, attach it
to the hanger screws you have previously
screwed to the wall and tighten the hang-
er screws well (Figure 9).
Secure it to the wall with two 4.8x50
screws from the mounting holes on the
interior of the device (Figure 9).

If you are going to use Ø 120/150 mm
plastic flue adapter, connect one end of
the pipe to this adapter, or if you will not
use it, directly to the outlet on the product.
Connect the other end of the pipe to your
chimney. When the device operates at the
highest speed, make sure that these two
connections are tight enough to be dis-
placed. Check that the flap in the flue
works when tightened with the clamp
. Install the flue connection pipe on the
outside of the adapter (Figure 11 / a). If
the connection pipe is inserted into the
adapter, air suction will not occur since
the flue valve that prevents air recycling
will remain closed (Figure 11 / b). The pipe
connection should be as short as possible
and with few bends.

and dusts from entering the environment.

5.5 Hood Chimney Installation
Before starting the flue assembly, make
the electrical connection of your product.
Thread the plate chimneys Around the
body. Screw the outer flue to the outer
flue connection plates on the engine cab-
in. (Figure 12)
Extend the inner chimney from the up-
per outer edges to the chimney mounting
plate fixed to the wall and screw it on.

6 Troubleshooting
Troubleshooting Reason Help
