Congratulazioni e grazie per aver acquistato il vostro nuovo
seggiolino auto.
Questo seggiolino è stato progettato per offrire il massimo
confort e la massima sicurezza al vostro bambino. Per
garantire la migliore protezione, è indispensabile che venga
usato correttamente. Le ricerche rivelano che molti seggiolini
non sono istallati ed usati in modo corretto, riducendo la
loro efficacia in caso di incidente. Leggere attentamente
le istruzioni prima di usare il seggiolino, seguirle
rigorosamente e conservarle per consultazioni future.
Un comodo alloggiamento per il manuale di istruzioni è
ricavato nella parte posteriore del seggiolino.
L’uso del seggiolino auto riduce drasticamente il rischio di
lesioni in caso di incidente. La maggior parte degli incidenti
avviene in città: usare sempre il seggiolino auto, anche
per brevi tragitti. Non tenere mai il bambino in braccio: in
caso di incidente, potrebbe essere impossibile trattenerlo.

Avvertenze
1 - Questo è un dispositivo di ritenuta bambini “Universale”,
omologato secondo Regolamento N°44, emendamenti
serie 04. Adatto all’impiego generale nei veicoli e
compatibile con la maggior parte, ma non tutti, i sedili di
questi.
2 - La perfetta compatibilità è più facilmente ottenibile nei
casi in cui il costruttore del veicolo dichiara nel manuale
che questo prevede l’istallazione di dispositivi di ritenuta
bambini “Universale” per la fascia di età in questione.
3 - Questo dispositivo di ritenuta è stato classificato
“Universale”, secondo criteri di omologazione più severi
rispetto a modelli precedenti che non dispongono del
presente avviso.
4 - Adatto solamente per l’impiego nei veicoli dotati di
cintura di sicurezza a 3 punti statica o con arrotolatore,
omologata in base al Regolamento UN/ECE N°16 o
standard equivalenti.
5 - In caso di dubbio, contattare il produttore del dispositivo
di ritenuta oppure il rivenditore.

Non manomettere o modificare in alcun modo il seggiolino.
Attenzione: il montaggio scorretto o l’uso improprio del

seggiolino possono mettere a grave rischio la sicurezza
del bambino.
Attenzione: per le versioni dotate di connettori isofix,
usare i connettori sempre in combinazione con la
cintura di sicurezza dell’auto. Non fissare il seggiolino
solo mediante in connettori isofix.
Posizionare il seggiolino in modo che non possa venir
danneggiato dalla chiusura delle porte, dalla regolazione dei
sedili o simili.
Non lasciare il bambino incustodito sul seggiolino.
Non lasciare il seggiolino nell’auto al sole: le parti in plastica
potrebbero surriscaldarsi.
Bloccare saldamente bagagli o altri oggetti nell’abitacolo.
Tutti i passeggeri devono indossare le cinture di sicurezza.
Assicurare il seggiolino al sedile con le cinture dell’auto
anche quando non viene trasportato nessun bambino.
Verificare periodicamente il seggiolino. Sostituirlo in caso di
rottura o usura.
Non utilizzare il prodotto se alcune sue parti sono rotte o
mancanti.
Usare solo ricambi originali.
In caso di incidente
Tutti i passeggeri devono essere istruiti su come liberare il
bambino dal seggiolino.
Sostituire il seggiolino dopo un incidente: potrebbero essere
presenti danni non visibili dall’esterno.
Per il comfort
Quando il seggiolino è usato sul sedile posteriore della
macchina, verificate che rimanga spazio sufficiente per i
piedi del bambino; spostare eventualmente un po’ in avanti
il sedile anteriore.
Fare frequenti fermate durante i viaggi lunghi in modo da
permettere al bambino di muoversi liberamente.
Montaggio del seggiolino
Identificare i componenti del seggiolino prima di utilizzarlo.
Consultare con attenzione la figura 1.
Appoggiare la seduta su un piano. Spingere lo schienale
verso il basso per inserirlo nelle guide presenti nella
parte posteriore della seduta. Controllare che l’aggancio
sia completo. Il gancio metallico deve rimanere dietro lo
schienale (fig 2).

Regolazione preliminare del seggiolino
Verificare ed eventualmente regolare l’altezza delle cinture
di sicurezza e del poggiatesta prima di installare il seggiolino
sull’auto.
Come verificare l’altezza delle cinture di sicurezza e del
poggiatesta
Appoggiare il seggiolino per terra e far sedere il bambino con
il corpo ben aderente al seggiolino.
Controllare che le cinture (I) siano regolate nella posizione più
vicina alle spalle del bambino e preferibilmente nella posizione
appena al di sopra delle spalle del bambino (fig. 3).
Regolare l’altezza del poggiatesta (A) in modo che la testa
del bambino sia ben avvolta; il poggiatesta non deve toccare
le spalle del bambino (fig. 4).
Come regolare l’altezza delle cinture di sicurezza del
seggiolino
Sganciare una cintura di sicurezza (I) dal gancio metallico (J)
posto dietro lo schienale del seggiolino (fig. 5).
Sfilare la cintura dallo schienale (fig. 6).
Sfilare la piastrina di fissaggio delle imbottiture (K) dallo
schienale (fig. 7).
Infilare sia la piastrina di fissaggio delle imbottiture (K) che la
cintura (I) nel foro nello schienale posto all’altezza desiderata
(fig. 8).
Riagganciare la cintura (I) al gancio metallico (J) (fig. 9).
Ripetere le medesime operazioni con l’altra cintura.
Attenzione: assicurarsi che le cinture (I) passino attraverso le
imbottiture e che la parte gommosa sia rivolta verso il corpo
del bambino.
Attenzione: assicurarsi che le cinture non siano attorcigliate
e che la piastrina di fissaggio delle imbottiture (K) non possa
sfilarsi dallo schienale.
Come regolare l’altezza del poggiatesta
Per alzare il poggiatesta (A), premere il pulsante (C) e tirare
il poggiatesta (A) verso l’alto; viceversa per abbassarlo (fig.
10). Uno scatto segnalerà il passaggio da una posizione
all’altra.
Attenzione: Un corretto posizionamento del poggiatesta è
indispensabile per la sicurezza del bambino. Non rimuovere
assolutamente il poggiatesta.

Uso del seggiolino
Posizionare il seggiolino su uno dei sedili posteriori o sul
sedile anteriore lato passeggero.
Attenzione: in alcuni Paesi il codice della strada vieta
l’installazione dei seggiolini sui sedili anteriori: controllare il
codice della strada del Paese dove vi trovate.
Attenzione: non posizionare il seggiolino sui sedili anteriori
se c’è l’airbag attivo.
Attenzione: non posizionare il seggiolino su un sedile dotato
di una cintura solo orizzontale.
Attenzione: non interporre nulla fra seggiolino e sedile.
Attenzione: per le versioni dotate di connettori isofix,
assicurare il seggiolino ed il bambino al sedile mediante
le cinture di sicurezza dell’auto anche quando si usano
i connettori isofix.
Per le versioni dotate di connettori isofix
Uso dei connettori isofix
Premere il regolatore (O) e contemporaneamente tirare il
connettore isofix (P) all’indietro (fig. 11).
Agganciare il connettore isofix (P) ai ganci isofix presenti sul
sedile dell’autovettura (fig. 12).
Tirare la cinghia (N) e contemporaneamente spingere il
seggiolino verso lo schienale (fig. 13).
Tendere bene la cinghia, controllando che sia attorcigliata.
Controllare che il seggiolino sia ancorato saldamente al
sedile dell’automobile e che appoggi bene alla seduta ed
allo schienale del sedile.
Assicurare il seggiolino con le cinture di sicurezza dell’auto.
Attenzione: per le versioni dotate di connettori isofix,
assicurare il seggiolino ed il bambino al sedile mediante
le cinture di sicurezza dell’auto anche quando si usano
i connettori isofix.
Gruppo 1 (da 9 a 18 kg)
Posizionare il seggiolino sul sedile dell’auto in modo che
appoggi completamente alla seduta ed allo schienale.
Per le versioni dotate di connettori isofix
Agganciare i connettori isofix (P) come indicato nel paragrafo
Uso dei connettori isofix.
Attenzione: I punti di passaggio delle cinture di sicurezza
sono identificati in rosso. Non far passare le cinture di
sicurezza dell’auto in posizioni diverse da quelle indicate.
Far passare la cintura diagonale dell’auto sulla parte alta
dello schienale (fig. 14).
Far passare la cintura addominale dell’auto sotto il bracciolo
della seduta del seggiolino.
Passare entrambe le cinture attraverso i fori nello schienale
del seggiolino.

Farle passare entrambe sotto il bracciolo della seduta del
seggiolino.
Agganciare la cintura di sicurezza dell’auto.
Tendere bene la cintura, controllare che non sia attorcigliata
e che appoggi bene sotto i braccioli della seduta.
Come rimuovere il seggiolino dall’auto
Sganciare la cintura di sicurezza dell’auto, sfilarla dal
seggiolino e lasciarla riavvolgere.
Per le versioni dotate di connettori isofix
Sganciare i connettori (P) premendo il pulsante rosso (fig. 15).
Come posizionare il bambino
Premere il regolatore (E) e contemporaneamente tirare
entrambe le cinture di sicurezza (I) del seggiolino (fig. 16).
Premere il pulsante rosso della fibbia (G) per aprirla (fig. 17).
Allontanare le cinture (I) appoggiandole ai lati del seggiolino
(fig. 18).
Far sedere il bambino nel seggiolino.
Congiungere i ganci ed infilarli nella fibbia (G). Un clic ne
segnalerà la corretta chiusura (fig. 19).
Posizionare le imbottiture (H) sulle spalle ed il torace del
bambino tirandole verso il basso.
Tirare la cinghia del regolatore (F) per far aderire le cinture di
sicurezza al bambino (fig. 20).
Attenzione: Verificare periodicamente durante il viaggio che
il bambino non si svincoli dal seggiolino.
Come liberare il bambino
Premere il regolatore (E) e contemporaneamente tirare
entrambe le cinture di sicurezza (I) per allentarle (fig. 21).
Premere il pulsante rosso della fibbia (G) per aprirla.
Sfilare ed allontanare le cinture di sicurezza dal bambino.
Gruppi 2 e 3 (da 15 a 36 kg) con schienale
Attenzione: smontare le cinture del seggiolino (I) prima di
usarlo come gruppo 2 o 3.
Come smontare le cinture del seggiolino
Sganciare entrambe le cintura di sicurezza (I) dal gancio
metallico (J) e sfilarle dallo schienale (fig. 22).
Sfilare le piastrine di fissaggio delle imbottiture (K) dallo
schienale (fig. 23).
Capovolgere il seggiolino e sfilare completamente le cinture
(I) (fig. 24).
Far passare la clip metallica (L) della fibbia attraverso il foro
nella seduta e sfilare la fibbia (G) dal seggiolino (fig. 25).
Come posizionare il bambino
Posizionare il seggiolino sul sedile dell’auto in modo che
appoggi completamente alla seduta ed allo schienale.

Per le versioni dotate di connettori isofix
Agganciare i connettori isofix (P) come indicato nel paragrafo
Uso dei connettori isofix.
Attenzione: I punti di passaggio delle cinture di sicurezza
sono identificati in rosso. Non far passare le cinture di
sicurezza dell’auto in posizioni diverse da quelle indicate.
Posizionare la cintura diagonale dell’auto sul petto del
bambino e farla passare sotto il bracciolo della seduta, dal
lato opposto dell’arrotolatore (fig. 26).
Infilarla nel guidacinghia (B) (fig. 27).
Passare la cintura addominale sotto i due braccioli della
seduta (fig. 28).
Tendere bene la cintura di sicurezza dell’auto, controllare
che non sia attorcigliata e che appoggi bene sotto i braccioli
della seduta.
Agganciare la cintura di sicurezza (fig. 29).
Attenzione: Verificare periodicamente durante il viaggio che
il bambino non si svincoli dal seggiolino.
Per liberare il bambino
Sganciare la cintura di sicurezza dell’auto, sfilarla dal
seggiolino e lasciarla riavvolgere.
Come rimuovere il seggiolino dall’auto
Per le versioni dotate di connettori isofix
Sganciare i connettori (P) premendo il pulsante rosso (fig. 15).
Manutenzione
Asportare completamente le fodere per lavarle.
Rispettare le istruzioni di lavaggio riportare sull’etichetta del
tessuto.
Lavare le parti in plastica con acqua tiepida e sapone. Non
usare sostanza aggressive.
Attenzione: Le fodere costituiscono parte integrante del
seggiolino: il seggiolino non può essere usato senza le sue
fodere. Le fodere possono essere sostituite solo da ricambi
originali.

This child seat has been designed to provide maximum
comfort and safety for your child. To guarantee the best
possible protection, it must be used correctly. Research
shows that many child seats are not fitted and used correctly,
which reduces their effectiveness in the event of an accident.
Read the instructions before using the child seat. Follow
them carefully and keep them for future reference. A
convenient place to store the instruction manual is provided
at the back of the child seat.
Using the child seat drastically reduces the risk of injury in
the event of an accident. The majority of accidents occur in
urban areas: always use the child seat, even for short
journeys. Never travel with a child in your arms: in the event
of an accident, it could be impossible to hold them.

Warning
1 - This is a “Universal” child restraint. It is approved in
accordance with Regulation No. 44, amendments
series 04. It is suitable for general use in vehicles and is
compatible with most, but not all, car seats.
2 - Perfect compatibility is more likely if the vehicle
manufacturer has declared in the handbook that it is
suitable for the installation of “Universal” child restraints
for the age group in question.
3 - This child restraint has been classified as “Universal”
under more stringent conditions than those applied to
earlier models that do not carry this notice.
4 - This child restraint is only suitable for use in vehicles fitted
with 3-point static or inertia reel safety belts approved
in accordance with UN/ECE Regulation No. 16 or other

Warning: for the versions equipped with isofix
attachment points, always use the points together with
the car's safety belt. Do not attach the child seat by
means of the isofix attachment points only.
Position the child seat so that it cannot be damaged by
closing the car doors, adjusting the seats or similar actions.
Do not leave the child unattended in the child seat.
Do not leave the child seat in the car under the sun: the
plastic parts may become very hot.
Make sure that luggage and other items are secured in the
car. All passengers must wear safety belts.
Fasten the child seat to the car seat with the car safety belts
even when there is no child in it.
Periodically check the condition of the child seat. Replace
the seat if it shows signs of damage or tear and wear.
Do not use the product if any parts are broken or missing.
Use original spare parts only.
In the event of an accident
All passengers must be told how to take the child out of the
seat.
The child seat must be replaced after an accident: it may
have suffered damage that is not visible on the outside.
Comfort
When the child seat is used on the rear seats of the car,
make sure that there is enough room for the child’s feet. If
necessary, move the front seat slightly forward.
Take frequent breaks on long journeys so that the child can
move about freely.
Assembling the child seat
Identify the components of the child seat before using it.
Carefully examine figure 1.
Place the seat on a flat surface. Push the backrest downwards
into the guides in the lower part of the seat. Check that it
is fully attached. The metal yoke must remain behind the
backrest (fig 2).

Adjusting the child seat first
Check and if necessary adjust the height of the harness
straps and headrest before fitting the child seat in a car.
How to check the height of the harness straps and headrest
Put the child seat on the floor and sit the child snugly into
the seat.
Check that the straps (I) are adjusted to the closest position to
the child’s shoulders and preferably positioned just above the
child’s shoulders (fig. 3).
Adjust the height of the headrest (A) so that the child’s head
is well enclosed; the headrest must not touch the child’s
shoulders (fig. 4).
How to adjust the height of the harness straps of the
car seat
Un-hook one harness strap (I) from the metal hook (J) located
behind the backrest of the car seat (fig. 5).
Thread the harness out from the backrest (fig. 6).
Unthread the padding fixture plate (K) from the backrest (Fig. 7).
Slot the padding fixture plate (K) and the harness (I) into the
hole on the backrest at the height you wish to use (fig.8).
Hook the harness (I) back onto the metal hook (J) (fig. 9).
Repeat these operations with the other harness.
Warning: make sure that the harness straps (I) pass through
the padding and that the rubber part is facing the child’s body.
Warning: make sure that the harness straps are not twisted
and that the padding fixing plate (K) cannot slide off of the
backrest.
How to adjust the height of the headrest
To raise the headrest (A), press the button (C) and pull the
headrest (A) upwards; vice versa to lower it (fig. 10). The clicking
sound means it is moving from one position to the next.
Warning: Correct positioning of the headrest is necessary for
the safety of the child. Never remove the headrest for any
reason.
How to use the child seat
Position the child seat on one of the vehicle’s rear seats or on
the front passenger seat.
Warning: in some countries, the highway code prohibits the
use of child seats on front seats: Check the highway code in
your country.
Warning: do not use the child seat on the front passenger seat if

the vehicle is equipped with an active passenger side airbag.
Warning: do not place the child seat on a seat that is only
fitted with a lap belt.
Warning: do not put anything between the child seat and the
car seat.
Warning: for the versions equipped with isofix
attachment points, fasten the child seat and the child to
the child seat with the car's seat belts even when using
isofix attachment points.
For the versions equipped with isofix attachment points
How to use the isofix attachment points
Press the adjuster (O) and simultaneously pull the isofix
attachment (P) backwards (fig 11).
Fix the isofix attachment point (P) to the isofix yokes located
on the vehicle's seat (fig 12).
Pull the belt (N) and simultaneously push the child seat
towards the backrest (fig 13).
Tension the belt well and check that there are no twists.
Check that the child seat is securely fastened to the vehicle's
seat and that it is fully supported on the seat and backrest of
the vehicle's seat.
Secure the child car seat with the car seat belts.
Warning: for the versions equipped with isofix
attachment points, fasten the child seat and the child to
the child seat with the car's seat belts even when using
isofix attachment points.
Group 1 (from 9 to 18 kg)
Position the child seat on the seat of the vehicle so that it is
fully supported on the seat and backrest.
For the versions equipped with isofix attachment points
Fix the isofix attachment points (P) as shown in the section
How to use the isofix attachment points.
Warning: The car seat belt routing positions are marked in
red. Do not route the car seat belt in positions other than
those indicated.
Pass the diagonal section of the car seat belt across the
upper part of the backrest (fig. 14).
Pass the lap section of the car seat belt under the armrest
of the child seat.
Pass both straps through the openings in the child seat
backrest.
Pass both of them under the armrest of the child seat.
Close the car seat belt.
Tension the car seat belt well, check that there are no twists
and that it runs smoothly under the armrests of the child seat.
How to remove the child seat
Release the car seat belt, unthread it from the child seat and
allow it to retract.

For the versions equipped with isofix attachment points
Release the attachment points (P) by pressing the red button
(fig. 15).
How to position the child in the seat
Press adjuster (E) and simultaneously pull both the harness
straps (I) of the child seat (fig. 16).
Press the red buckle button (G) to open it (fig. 17).
Open the straps (I) and lay them on the sides of the child
seat (fig. 18).
Sit the child in the child seat.
Bring the two harness tongues together and insert them into
the buckle (G). A click indicates when the buckle is closed
correctly (fig. 19).
Position the padding sections (H) on the shoulders and chest
of the child, pulling them downwards.
Pull the adjuster strap (F) to tighten the safety harness snugly
over the child (fig. 20).
Warning: During the journey periodically check that the child
has not freed itself from the child seat.
How to free the child from the seat
Press adjuster (E) and simultaneously pull both the harness
straps (I) to loosen them (fig. 21).
Press the red buckle button (G) to open it.
Take off the straps and clear them from the child.
Groups 2 and 3 (from 15 to 36 kg) with backrest
Warning: remove the child seat harness (I) before using it for
groups 2 or 3.
How to remove the car seat harness
Release both harness straps (I) from the metal yoke (J) and
unthread them from the backrest (fig. 22).
Unthread the padding fixture plates (K) from the backrest
(fig. 23).
Turn the child seat over and completely unthread the straps
(I) (fig. 24).
Pass the metal clip (L) of the buckle through the hole in the
seat and unthread the buckle (G) from the child (fig. 25).
How to position the child in the seat
Position the child seat on the seat of the vehicle so that it is
fully supported on the seat and backrest.
For the versions equipped with isofix attachment points
Fix the isofix attachment points (P) as shown in the section
How to use the isofix attachment points.
Warning: The car seat belt routing positions are marked in
red. Do not route the car seat belt in positions other than
those indicated.
Position the diagonal section of the car seat belt over the

child’s chest and pass it under the seat armrest, on the
opposite side of the inertia reel (fig. 26).
Insert it into the belt guide (B) (fig. 27).
Pass the lap section of the car seat belt under the two

Tension the car seat belt well, check that there are no twists
and that it runs smoothly under the armrests of the child seat.
Close the car seat belt (fig. 29).
Warning: During the journey periodically check that the child
has not freed itself from the child seat.
How to free the child from the seat
Release the car seat belt, unthread it from the child seat and
allow it to retract.
How to remove the child seat
For the versions equipped with isofix attachment points
Release the attachment points (P) by pressing the red button
(fig. 15).
Maintenance
Take the covers off completely to wash them.
Follow the washing instructions reported on the label
attached to the fabric.
Wash plastic parts using warm water and soap. Do not use
aggressive cleaning products.
Warning: The covers are an integral part of the child seat:
the seat must not be used without the covers. The covers
must only be replaced with original spare parts.
