Safety and Convenience Features
Berkel Model 1850 bowl cutter is a high perfor-
mance, versatile machine that quickly cuts, chops,
blends and mixes vegetables, fruits, cheeses
and virtually any other product quickly and
conveniently. The large, one-piece 18-1/2” stainless
steel bowl features an exclusive “free-wheeling”
action, which permits the bowl to be manually
turned for fast removal of cut product, ease of
ingredient blending and quick cleanup. The bowl
cover and knife guard interlock prevent the cutter
from running when the cover is raised. The power
switch interlock mechanism prevents opening
the bowl cover and knife guard during machine
operation. The unit includes a convenient #12 Taper
Hub for optional meat grinder and vegetable slicer/
grater attachments. The 1850 bowl cutter is easy to
clean and disassembles quickly without tools.

lubricated ball bearings, thermally protected.
Electrical: Furnished in 115/60/1, 12.8 amp, AC.
Finish/construction: Base is a sanitary anodized
aluminum casting. Bowl cover and knife guard are
solid, one-piece anodized aluminum. Bowl cover
and knife guard interlock prevents the cutter from
running if cover is raised. Unit disassembles quickly
without tools for easy cleaning.
