USER MANUAL HEATED BODY WARMER
1. General operaon
The BERTSCHAT® body warmer heats your body by means of electric heang elements. The body warmer can be
provided with energy by means of a USB power bank. The body warmer can provide heat in 3 posions. The posion
can be adjusted by means of the buon on the chest. The power bank is placed in the pocket on the le side of the
body warmer. Here you can nd the plug.
Adapng the body warmer to size
The body warmer is available in 2 sizes, from XXS to M and from M to XXXL. By means of the zips on the side of the
body warmer and the Velcro at the shoulders, it is easy to adapt the size. In this way you will quickly achieve the
correct t.
Switching on, switching o and heang posions
Connect the power bank and the body warmer and switch on the power bank. The buon on the body warmer
ashes once. The body warmer is switched on by pressing the buon for three seconds. Aer this, the heang
posion can be adjusted by clicking on the buon. The body warmer has three heang posions. The body warmer
starts at the warmest posion when switched on.
The buon lights up in the colour that corresponds with the set heang posion.
– Posion 3: Red (warmest)
– Posion 2:White
– Posion 1: Blue (least warm)

The body warmer is switched o by pressing the buon for three seconds once more. The LED in the buon will also
switch o. If you also fully switch o the power bank, no power will be consumed and the baery will last longer.
A sensor in the body warmer ensures that the temperature remains at the set value. Depending on the ambient
temperature and the insulaon of the clothes worn on top, the body warmer will consume more or less energy.
The body warmer is made to be worn under a sweater or coat. The beer the insulaon around the body warmer,
the more eecvely the heat will remain at your body.
2. Power consumpon & power bank
The body warmer works on any 5V USB power source, such as a telephone charger or laptop USB connecon. For
mobile use, a power bank can be used. Any power bank with a 5V USB connecon can be used in combinaon with
the body warmer. BERTSCHAT® recommends using the separately available BERTSCHAT® power bank.
Most USB power banks have a 1A or 2.1A connecon. The body warmer will work on a 1A connecon, but when
connected to a 2.1A connecon, the body warmer will generate more heat. When using the 2.1A connecon, the
power bank will empty more quickly, because more power is used.
The more capacity the used power bank has, the longer it will last. Some power banks must be switched on manually
before they provide power. Both the power bank and the body warmer will then have to be switched on before the
body warmer can become warm.
Operang the BERTSCHAT® power bank (separately available)
• Switching on: press the buon once. By means of the indicator LEDS, you can read how much
power remains.
• Switching o: press the buon once more.

3. Maintenance and washing instruc ons
There are hea ng elements in the body warmer, which are sturdy, but can get damaged when handled roughly. Han-
dle the body warmer with care to prevent damage. Carefully place the power bank in the pocket. The power cable of
the body warmer may not be folded double. Make sure the USB plug and cable are not subjected to excessive force.
• Only wash by hand! Use a so washing agent and handle the body warmer with care.
• Do not put the body warmer in the tumble dryer, only allow the body warmer to dry naturally and do not
place it on the hea ng or any other heat source.
• If the body warmer is damp, allow it to dry fully before charging.
• Do not dry clean the body warmer.
• Do not iron the body warmer.
4. Check list of possible failures
If the body warmer does not func on, go through the following check list:
• Has the power bank been charged?
o If not, charge the power bank.
• Has the power bank been connected correctly?
o Check that the power bank is properly connected to the plug.
• Is the plug of the body warmer free from contamina ons?
o Dirt in the plug could block the contact.
• Test if the body warmer is working as follows: connect the body warmer to a  xed USB power source,
such as a smartphone charger. If the body warmer is working, it is possible that the power bank is
defec ve.
• Does the power bank not have su cient power?
o Try a di erent/stronger power bank with a minimum output of 2.1A.

FURTHER INSTRUCTIONS:
• Always switch o the body warmer aer use.
• Remove the plug from the power bank if you are not using it.
• Store body warmer and power bank in a cool and dry locaon.
• Always remove the power bank from the body warmer before charging it.
• Never pull the body warmer too hard, as the heang elements could get damaged otherwise.
• Keep the body warmer away from sharp or pointed objects.
WARNINGS
• The body warmer is not suitable for use by minors.
• Do not make any changes to the body warmer.
• In case of damage to power bank or charger, stop using the product.
• When the power bank swells up, immediately stop using it and contact the manufacturer.
• Do not drill through the power bank or make holes in the power bank in any other way.
• Make sure the heang elements do not overlap for a longer period of me, this could lead to a situaon
where the temperature is too hot.
• This product is only intended to be used by people and should not be used on animals.
• The body warmer can become very warm. If you have a reduced sensivity to heat or cold, we
recommend consulng a doctor rst.
• In case of a higher ambient temperature, the sensaon of heat will be stronger. In that case, set the body
warmer to a lower posion that does feel comfortable.
• In case of incorrect use of the power bank, there is a possible explosion hazard.
• Avoid direct skin contact with the heang elements at all mes, this could lead to burns in case of
long-term use. If you noce a hole in the fabric and the heang wire becomes visible, stop using the body
warmer.

• IMPORTANT
• Please carefully read the user instrucons.
• This product is not suitable for children
• This product is not suitable for persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilies or persons
who are under supervision and/or do not understand the hazards. These above-menoned persons
should not be allowed to use this product.
• Children are never allowed to play with this product.
• Cleaning and care should not be performed by children who are not supervised.
• The heated products as well as the baery packs should be regularly checked for signs of wear or
damage. If such signs are visible, the product has been used incorrectly or the product does not funcon,
it should be sent back to the supplier before it is used again.
• Elderly people or persons with reduced sensivity of the skin are advised to not use the product.
• The product may not be used for warming animals.
• If you have diculty sensing heat or cold (disabled persons, etc.), please consult your doctor before using
the product.
• Regularly check your body for red discolouraons of the skin. A heang power that is too high for a
longer period of me could cause burns.
• The heated accompanying products may only be used in combinaon with the original baeries.
• Always use the original supplied charger for charging. It is only intended for indoor use and should not be
exposed to humidity.
• Never try to open or repair a baery yourself.
• In case of quesons or any failures, always immediately contact the supplier.
• If you establish damage to the charger, charging cable or other parts of the product, the product should
no longer be used.
• Do not make any changes to the product and do not use it for any other purposes.
• Have repairs to the baery packs and other components only performed by the manufacturer.

• When the baery packs are no longer being used, hand them in at a collecon point for electronic waste.
• Do not store baery packs near a heat source and do not throw them in open re. Explosion hazard.
• Never drill through the baery packs. Explosion hazard.
• The product is not intended for use in hospitals.
• The technology used complies with all relevant legislaon and regulaons. Whether the product can
be used in the vicinity of other sensive electronic products (such as pacemakers, etc.) must be checked
at the manufacturers of these electronic products.
• Make sure that no other objects are placed on top of the product during storage, as it could bend as a
result.
• If an environment is entered that has a considerably higher temperature, the heang must be switched
o, as overheang could occur otherwise.
• Never use heated products in combinaon with other heated products, heat on heat could lead to over
heang.
REMOVING THE BATTERIES:
As we also supply baeries with our product, we are obliged according to legislaon that applies to baeries to point
out the following to you:
Baeries may not be disposed of as household waste. The consumer is legally obliged to return baeries separately
aer use. Old baeries could contain harmful substances that could damage your health or the environment if not
properly stored and disposed of. However, baeries also contain important raw materials such as iron, zinc, manga-
nese or nickel and can be reused. Aer use, you can return the baeries to us or hand them in for free at a locaon
near you (e.g. at a shop or a municipal collecon point). The waste container with cross means that you should not
add baeries to your household waste.
If you have any quesons or if anything is unclear, please contact your supplier.

GEBRUIKERSHANDLEIDING VERWARMDE BODYWARMER
1. Algemene werking
De BERTSCHAT® bodywarmer verwarmt uw lichaam door middel van elektrische warmte-elementen. Met een USB
powerbank kan de bodywarmer worden voorzien van energie. De bodywarmer kan op 3 standen warmte geven. De
stand kan worden ingesteld met de knop op de borst. De powerbank wordt geplaatst in de zak aan de linkerzijde van
de bodywarmer. Hierin bevindt zich de stekker.
Op maat maken van de bodywarmer
De bodywarmer is in 2 maten verkrijgbaar, van XXS tot M en van M tot XXXL. Door de ritsen aan de zijkant van de
bodywarmer en het klienband bij de schouders is de grooe makkelijk aan te passen. Zo krijgt u snel uw gewenste
pasvorm.
Inschakelen, uitschakelen en warmtestanden
Koppel de powerbank en de bodywarmer en zet de powerbank aan. De knop op de bodywarmer knippert nu een-
maal. De bodywarmer wordt aangezet door de knop drie seconden ingedrukt te houden. Hierna kan de warmte-
stand worden ingesteld door op de knop te klikken. De bodywarmer kent drie warmtestanden. De bodywarmer
begint op de warmste stand als deze wordt aangezet.
De knop licht op in een kleur corresponderend met de ingestelde warmtestand.
– Stand 3: Rood (warmst)
– Stand 2:Wit
– Stand 1: Blauw (minst warm)

De bodywarmer gaat uit door de knop weer een drie seconden in gedrukt te houden. Het licht in de knop gaat dan
ook uit. Als u ook de powerbank helemaal uitzet wordt geen stroom verbruikt en zal de accu langer mee gaan.
Een sensor in de bodywarmer houdt de temperatuur connu op de ingestelde waarde. Aankelijk van de omgev-
ingstemperatuur en isolae van de kleding die u er overheen draagt, zal de bodywarmer meer of minder energie
verbruiken.
De bodywarmer is gemaakt om onder een trui of een jas te worden gedragen. Hoe beter de isolae om de body-
warmer, hoe eecever de warmte bij uw lichaam blij.
2. Stroombron & powerbank
De bodywarmer werkt op iedere 5V USB stroombron, zoals een telefoonoplader of laptop-USB aansluing. Voor
mobiel gebruik is een powerbank geschikt. Iedere powerbank met een 5V USB aansluing kan worden gebruikt
in combinae met de bodywarmer. BERTSCHAT® adviseert het gebruik van de apart te verkrijgen BERSTSCHAT®
powerbank.
De meeste USB powerbanks hebben een 1A of 2.1A aansluing. De bodywarmer zal werken op een 1A aansluing,
maar aangesloten op een 2.1A aansluing zal de bodywarmer meer warmte genereren. Bij gebruik van de 2.1A
aansluing zal de powerbank eerder leeg zijn omdat er meer stroom wordt verbruikt.
Hoe meer capaciteit de gebruikte powerbank hee, hoe langer deze zal meegaan. Sommige powerbanks dienen
handmag te worden aangezet alvorens ze stroom leveren. Zowel de powerbank als de bodywarmer moeten dan
worden aangezet voor de bodywarmer warm kan worden.
Bediening BERTSCHAT® powerbank (los verkrijgbaar)
• Aanzeen: druk eenmalig op de knop. Aan de hand van de indicae lampjes is af te lezen hoeveel stroom
er nog in zit.
• Uitzeen: druk nogmaals op de knop.

3. Onderhoud en wasvoorschri en
In de bodywarmer bevinden zich de warmte-elementen, deze zijn stevig, maar kunnen bij ruw gebruik beschadigen.
Behandel de bodywarmer met enige voorzich gheid om beschadigingen te voorkomen. Plaats de powerbank voor-
zich g in de zak. De stroomkabel van de bodywarmer mag niet dubbel worden gevouwen. Op de USB stekker en de
kabel mag geen grote kracht komen.
• Alleen handwas! Gebruik een zacht wasmiddel en behandel de bodywarmer met zorg.
• Stop de bodywarmer niet in de wasdroger, laat de bodywarmer alleen natuurlijk drogen en leg hem nooit
op de verwarming of een andere warmtebron.
• Mocht de bodywarmer voch g zijn, laat ze dan voor het opladen eerst helemaal drogen.
• De bodywarmer niet chemisch reinigen.
• De bodywarmer niet strijken.
4. Checklist eventuele storingen
Mocht de bodywarmer niet func oneren, doorloop dan de volgende checklist:
• Is de powerbank opgeladen?
o Zo niet, laad de powerbank op.
• Is de powerbank goed aangesloten?
o Controleer of de powerbank goed aan de stekker is verbonden.
• Is de stekker van de bodywarmer vrij van verontreinigingen?
o Vuil in de stekker kan het contact blokkeren.
• Om te testen of de bodywarmer werkt: sluit de bodywarmer aan op een vaste USB stroombron, bijvoor
beeld een smartphone lader. Indien de bodywarmer dan wel werkt is de powerbank wellicht defect.
• Hee de powerbank niet genoeg vermogen?
o Probeer een andere/sterkere powerbank met minimaal 2.1A output.

VERDERE AANWIJZINGEN:
• Schakel de bodywarmer na gebruik aljd uit.
• Verwijder de stekker uit de powerbank als u deze niet gebruikt.
• Bewaar de bodywarmer en powerbank op een koele en droge plek.
• Verwijder de powerbank aljd uit het de bodywarmer voordat u deze gaat opladen.
• Trek nooit te hard aan de bodywarmer, omdat anders de verwarmingselementen beschadigd
kunnen raken.
• Houd de bodywarmer ver van scherpe of spitse voorwerpen.
WAARSCHUWINGEN
• De bodywarmer is niet geschikt voor gebruik door minderjarigen.
• Voer geen wijzigingen aan de bodywarmer uit.
• Bij schade aan powerbank of lader het product niet langer gebruiken.
• Wanneer de powerbank opzwelt deze per direct niet meer gebruiken en contact opnemen met de
fabrikant.
• De powerbank niet doorboren of op een andere manier gaten in de powerbank maken.
• Zorg er voor dat de verwarmingselementen elkaar niet overlappen voor een langdurige periode, hierdoor
kan de temperatuur te warm worden.
• Dit product is enkel bedoeld voor humaan gebruik en mag niet op dieren toegepast worden.
• De bodywarmer kan erg warm worden. Indien u een verminderd gevoel voor warmte of kou hee
adviseren wij u eest te overleggen met uw arts.
• Bij een hogere omgevingstemperatuur zal het verwarmende gevoel sterker zijn. Zet de bodywarmer dan
op een lagere stand die wel comfortabel voelt.
• Bij verkeerd gebruik van de powerbank bestaat de mogelijkheid op ontplongsgevaar.

• Vermijd te allen jde direct huidcontact met de verwarmingselementen, dit kan bij langdurig contact
tot brandwonden leiden. Als u een gat in de stof opmerkt waarbij de verwarmingsdraad zichtbaar is dient
u de bodywarmer niet meer te gebruiken.
• BELANGRIJK
• De gebruiksaanwijzing a.u.b. aandachg lezen.
• Dit product is niet geschikt voor kinderen
• Dit product is niet geschikt voor personen met verminderde fysieke, sensorische of mentale vermogens
of personen die onder toezicht staan, en of de gevaren niet begrijpen mogen geen gebruik van dit
product maken.
• Kinderen mogen nooit met dit product spelen.
• Reiniging en verzorging mogen niet door kinderen zonder toezicht worden uitgevoerd.
• De verwarmde producten als ook accu-packs dienen regelmag te worden gecontroleerd op tekenen van
slijtage of beschadiging. Indien dergelijke tekenen zichtbaar zijn, het product onjuist is gebruikt of het
product niet werkt, moet het worden teruggestuurd naar de leverancier alvorens het opnieuw te
gebruiken.
• Ouderen of personen met verminderde gevoeligheid van de huid wordt aangeraden om het product niet
te gebruiken.
• Het product mag niet worden gebruikt voor het verwarmen van dieren.
• Indien u warmte of koude niet goed kunt waarnemen (gehandicapten, enz.), overleg dan a.u.b. met uw
arts voordat u het product gebruikt.
• Controleer uw lichaam regelmag op rode verkleuringen van de huid. Een te hoog verwarmingsvermogen
gedurende langere jd kan verbrandingen veroorzaken.
• De verwarmde bijbehorende producten mogen alleen gebruikt worden in combinae met de originele
accu’s.
• Gebruik voor het opladen aljd de originele meegeleverde lader. Deze is enkel bedoeld voor binnenshuis
en mag niet worden blootgesteld aan vocht.
• Probeer nooit zelf een accu-packs te openen en of te repareren.
• Neem bij vragen of eventuele storingen aljd direct contact op met de leverancier.
• Indien u schade aan de oplader, laadkabel of andere delen van het product vaststelt, mag het product
niet verder gebruikt worden.
• Voer geen wijzigingen aan het product uit, en gebruik het niet voor andere doeleinden.

• Laat reparaes aan accu-packs en andere componenten alleen door de fabrikant uitvoeren.
• Wanneer de accu-packs niet meer worden gebruikt geef deze af bij een inzamelpunt voor elektronisch
afval.
• Accu- packs nooit bij een warmte bron opslaan of in open vuur gooien. Explosiegevaar.
• De accu-packs nooit doorboren. Explosiegevaar.
• Het product is niet bedoeld voor gebruik in ziekenhuizen.
• De gebruikte technologie voldoet aan alle relevante wet- en regelgeving. Of het product kan worden
gebruikt in de buurt van andere gevoelige elektronische producten (bijv. pacemakers, etc.) moet worden
nagegaan bij de fabrikanten van deze elektronische producten.
• Zorg ervoor dat jdens de opslag geen andere voorwerpen op het product worden gelegd, omdat het
hierdoor kan worden verbogen.
• Als een omgeving wordt betreden die een aanzienlijk hogere temperatuur hee, moet de verwarming
worden uitgeschakeld omdat er anders oververhing kan plaatsvinden.
• Gebruik verwarmde producten nooit in combinae met andere verwarmde producten, warmte op warm
te kan leiden tot oververhing.
VERWIJDEREN VAN DE ACCU’S:
Aangezien wij bij onze producten ook accu’s leveren zijn wij het volgens de voor baerijen geldende wetgeving
verplicht u op het volgende te wijzen:
Baerijen en accu’s mogen niet met het huisvuil worden afgevoerd. De verbruiker is weelijk verplicht accu’s na
gebruik gescheiden in te leveren. Oude accu’s kunnen schadelijke stoen bevaen die bij niet adequate opslag en
verwijdering schade kunnen toebrengen aan uw gezondheid of aan het milieu. Accu’s bevaen echter ook belangri-
jke grondstoen zoals ijzer, zink, mangaan of nikkel en kan worden hergebruikt. U kunt de accu’s na gebruik ofwel
aan ons retourneren ofwel bij u in de buurt (bijvoorbeeld bij een winkel of een gemeentelijk inzamelpunt) gras
inleveren. De afvalcontainer met een kruis erdoor betekent dat u baerijen en accu’s niet met het huisvuil mag
meegeven.

GILET MATELASSÉ CHAUFFANT - MODE D'EMPLOI
1. Fonconnement général
Le gilet matelassé BERTSCHAT® réchaue votre corps au moyen d'éléments chauants électriques. Le gilet matelassé
USB est alimenté en énergie par une baerie portable USB. Le gilet matelassé peut produire 3 niveaux de chaleur.
Un bouton à hauteur de la poitrine permet de régler le niveau. La baerie portable est placée dans la poche située
sur le côté gauche du gilet matelassé. La che est intégrée dans cee poche.
Ajustement du gilet matelassé à votre taille
Le gilet matelassé est disponible en 2 formats : de XXS à M et de M à XXXL. Les fermetures à glissière sur le côté du
gilet matelassé et la bande autoagrippante au niveau des épaules permet d'ajuster facilement la taille. Vous obtenez
ainsi un gilet qui vous va parfaitement en un tour de main.
Acvaon, désacvaon et niveaux de chaleur
Raccordez la baerie portable au gilet matelassé et meez en marche la baerie portable. Le bouton sur le gilet
matelassé clignote alors une fois. Pour acver le gilet matelassé, appuyez sur le bouton durant trois secondes.
Ceci fait, vous pouvez régler le niveau de chaleur en appuyant une fois sur le bouton. Le gilet matelassé ore trois
niveaux de chaleur. Le gilet matelassé commence à chauer au niveau maximal lorsqu'il est acvé.
Le bouton s'allume en une couleur qui correspond au niveau de chaleur réglé.
– Posion 3 : Rouge (la plus chaude)
– Posion 2 : Blanc
– Posion 1 : Bleu (la moins chaude)

Pour désacver le gilet matelassé, appuyez de nouveau sur le bouton durant trois secondes. Le bouton s'éteint alors.
Si vous désacvez également la baerie portable, la consommaon de courant s'arrête et l'accumulateur demeurera
chargé plus longtemps.
Un capteur intégré dans le gilet matelassé mainent la température connuellement à la valeur réglée. Le gilet
matelassé consommera plus ou moins d'énergie en foncon de la température ambiante et de l'isolaon procurée
par le vêtement que vous portez par-dessus.
Le gilet matelassé est fait pour être porté sous un pull-over ou un manteau. Plus l'isolaon couvrant le gilet matelas-
sé est performante, plus la chaleur sera maintenue ecacement autour de votre corps.
2. Source de courant et baerie portable
Le gilet matelassé peut être alimenté par toute source de courant USB 5 V, telle qu'un chargeur pour téléphone
ou une connexion USB d'ordinateur portable. Une baerie portable convient pour un usage mobile. Toute baerie
portable avec connexion USB 5 V peut être ulisée en associaon avec le gilet matelassé. BERTSCHAT® conseille
d'uliser la baerie portable BERTSCHAT® disponible séparément.
La plupart des baeries portables USB ont une connexion 1 A ou 2,1 A. Le gilet matelassé peut fonconner s'il
est branché à une connexion 1 A, mais il générera davantage de chaleur s'il est raccordé à une connexion 2,1 A.
Lorsqu'une connexion 2,1 A est ulisée, la baerie externe se déchargera plus rapidement car la consommaon de
courant est plus importante.
Plus la capacité de la baerie portable est élevée, plus longtemps la baerie restera chargée. Certaines baeries
portables doivent être acvées manuellement pour fournir du courant. Dans ce cas, vous devez acver la baerie et
acver le gilet matelassé pour que le gilet chaue.
Ulisaon de la baerie portable BERTSCHAT® (disponible séparément)
• Acvaon : Appuyez une fois sur le bouton. Les voyants indicateurs permeent de voir le pourcentage de
charge restant dans la baerie.
• Désacvaon : Appuyez une nouvelle fois sur le bouton.

3. Entre en et instruc ons de lavage
Des éléments chau ants sont incorporés dans le gilet matelassé. Ces éléments sont robustes mais peuvent être en-
dommagés en cas d'u lisa on sans aucune précau on. Traitez le gilet matelassé avec une certaine précau on pour
éviter un endommagement. Placez la ba erie portable dans la poche avec précau on. Le câble électrique du gilet
matelassé ne doit pas être plié. Aucun e ort important ne doit être exercé sur la  che USB et sur le câble.
• Lavez uniquement à la main ! U lisez une lessive douce et manipulez le gilet matelassé avec soin.
• Ne séchez pas le gilet matelassé dans un sèche-linge. Laissez toujours le gilet matelassé sécher
naturellement et ne le posez pas sur un radiateur ou une autre source de chaleur.
• Si le gilet matelassé est mouillé, laissez-le sécher complètement avant de le raccorder au chargeur.
• Ne lavez pas le gilet matelassé dans une machine de ne oyage à sec.
• Ne repassez pas le gilet matelassé.
4. Liste de contrôle des pannes éventuelles
Si le gilet matelassé ne fonc onne pas, passez en revue la liste de contrôle suivante :
• La ba erie portable est-elle chargée ?
o Si non, rechargez la ba erie portable.
• La ba erie portable est-elle raccordée correctement ?
o Contrôlez si la ba erie portable est connectée à la  che.
• La  che du gilet matelassé est-elle dépourvue de salissures ?
o La présence de salissures sur la  che peut empêcher le contact.
• Pour tester si le gilet matelassé fonc onne : Raccordez le gilet matelassé à une source de courant USB
