VERWENDUNGSZWECK
Dieses Produkt versorgt das Fahrzeug während des Batterieaustauschs mit Spannung, damit
diverse Einstellungen wie z.B. Radiocodes, Sitzmemory etc. erhalten bleiben und verhindert während
des Batteriewechsels einen Datenverlust in der Bordelektronik. Der Anschluss erfolgt über die OBD II-
Buchse (DLC) und per Krokodilklemmen an einer externen 12 Volt Fahrzeugbatterie. Das Gerät
verfügt über eine Bereitschaftsanzeige, die einen sicheren Verbindungsaufbau prüft und anzeigt.
SICHERHEITSHINWEISE
•Halten Sie Kinder und andere unbefugte Personen vom Arbeitsbereich fern.
•Lassen Sie Kinder nicht mit dem Produkt oder dessen Verpackung spielen
•Verwenden Sie das Produkt nicht, wenn es beschädigt ist.
•Verwenden Sie das Produkt nur für den vorgesehenen Zweck.
•Verbinden Sie das Gerät ausschließlich mit einer externen 12 Volt Fahrzeugbatterie.
•Entfernen Sie vor der Reparatur den Zündschlüssel, so verhindern Sie einen versehentlichen
Startversuch des Motors und dadurch entstehende Schäden.
•Schalten Sie keine Verbrauch ein, wenn das Gerät im Einsatz ist.
•Tauschen Sie die Sicherung, wenn diese defekt ist, gegen eine neue gleicher Stärke aus.
•Diese Anleitung dient als Kurzinformation und ersetzt keinesfalls ein Werkstatthandbuch.
Entnehmen Sie bitte Hinweise zur Demontage und Montage der Fahrzeugbatterie immer der
fahrzeugspezifischen Serviceliteratur.

TECHNISCHE DATEN

VERWENDUNG
1. Schalten Sie alle Verbraucher wie z.B. Licht und Radio aus und ziehen Sie den Zündschlüssel
aus dem Zündschloß.
2. Verbinden Sie die rote Krokodilklemme mit dem Pluspol und die schwarze mit dem Minuspol
einer externen 12V Batterie.
3. Stecken Sie das Gerät in die OBD II Buchse (DLC) des Fahrzeuges.
4. Wenn alle elektrischen Verbindungen korrekt vorhanden sind sollte die LED leuchten, das Gerät
ist nun betriebsbereit und der Austausch der Fahrzeugbatterie kann beginnen.
5. Leuchtet die LED nicht, kann dies an der durchgebrannten Sicherung (F) liegen.
6. Entfernen Sie die Krokodilklemmen, ziehen Sie das Gerät aus der OBD II Buchse und
überprüfen Sie die Sicherung (F). Beim Austausch der Sicherung gegen eine neue, ist darauf zu
achten, dass die neue Sicherung die gleichen Kennwerte aufweist.
UMWELTSCHUTZ
Recyceln Sie unerwünschte Stoffe, anstatt sie als Abfall zu entsorgen. Alle Werkzeuge,
Zubehörteile und Verpackungen sind zu sortieren, einer Wertstoffsammelstelle zuzuführen
und umweltgerecht zu entsorgen.
ENTSORGUNG
Entsorgen Sie dieses Produkt am Ende seiner Lebensdauer gemäß der EU-Richtlinie über
Elektro- und Elektronikaltgeräte. Erkundigen Sie sich bei Ihrer örtlichen Abfallbehörde über
Recyclingmaßnahmen oder geben Sie das Produkt zur Entsorgung an die BGS technic KG

OBD 2 (EOBD) Electrical System Suspense Keeper
ATTENTION
Read the operating instructions and all safety instructions contained therein carefully before using the
product. Use the product correctly, with care and only according to the intended purpose. Non-
compliance of the safety instructions may lead to damage, personal injury and to termination of the
warranty. Keep these instructions in a safe and dry location for future reference. Enclose the
operating instructions when handing over the product to third parties.
INTENDED USE
This product supplies power to the vehicle during battery replacement so various settings such as
radio codes, seat memory etc. are keept and prevents data loss in the on-board electronics while the
battery is being changed. The connection is made via the OBD II socket (DLC) and alligator clips on
an external 12 volt vehicle battery. The device has a readiness display that checks and displays a
secure connection establishment.
SAFETY INFORMATIONS
•Keep children and other persons out of the working area.
•Do not allow children to play with this tool or its packaging.
•Do not use the tool if parts are missing or damaged.
•Use the tool for the intended purpose only.
•Only connect the device to an external 12 volt vehicle battery.
•Before starting the repair, remove the ignition key to prevent accidental attempts to start the
engine and any damage that might result.
•Do not switch on any consumption when the device is in use.
•If the fuse is defective, replace it with a new one of the same data.
•These instructions serve as brief information and in no way replace a workshop manual.
Please always refer to the vehicle-specific service literature for information on removing and
installing the vehicle battery.

TECHNICAL DATA
Power supply: 12 V

USE
1. Switch off all consumers such as lights and radio and remove the ignition key from the ignition
lock.
2. Connect the red alligator clip to the positive pole and the black one to the negative pole of an
external 12V battery.
3. Plug the device into the OBD II socket (DLC) of the vehicle.
4. If all electrical connections are correct, the LEDs should light up, the device is now ready for
operation and the replacement of the vehicle battery can begin.
5. If the LED does not light up, this may be due to the blown fuse (F).
6. Remove the alligator clips, pull the device out of the OBD II socket (DLC) and check the fuse
(F). When replacing the fuse with a new one, it MUST be ensured that the new fuse has the
same characteristic values.
ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
Recycle unwanted materials instead of disposing of them as waste. All tools, accessories
and packaging should be sorted, taken to a recycling centre and disposed of in a manner
which is compatible with the environment.
DISPOSAL
Dispose of this product at the end of its working life in compliance with the EU Directive
on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment. Contact your local solid waste authority for
recycling information or give the product for disposal to BGS technic KG or to an electrical
appliances retailer.

Dispositif de maintien de tension

transmettez à des tiers.
UTILISATION PRÉVUE
Ce produit permet d’alimenter le véhicule en tension lors du remplacement de la batterie, afin d’éviter
la perte de divers paramètres tels que le code de la radio, la mémorisation de la position des sièges,
etc., et les données dans l’électronique de bord. Le raccordement est réalisé par l’intermédiaire de la
fiche OBDII (DLC) et des pinces crocodile (à raccorder sur une batterie externe de 12 V). Un contrôle
de raccordement indique si l’appareil est correctement branché et qu’il est prêt à l’emploi.
CONSIGNES DE SÉCURITÉ
•Maintenez à l’écart les enfants et toutes les autres personnes non autorisées de la zone de
travail.
•N’autorisez pas les enfants à jouer avec le produit ou son emballage.
•N’utilisez pas le produit s’il est endommagé.
•N’utilisez l’outil qu’à la fin prévue.
•Ne raccordez l’appareil que sur une batterie externe de 12 V.
•Retirez la clé de contact avant d’entamer la réparation, vous évitez ainsi de démarrer le moteur
par inadvertance et, en conséquence, des dommages du moteur.
•N’allumez aucun consommateur d’électricité dans le véhicule lorsque vous utilisez ce
dispositif.
•Si un fusible est défectueux, ne le remplacez que par un nouveau fusible aux caractéristiques
identiques.
•Ces instructions sont fournies à titre d’information brève, elles ne remplacent en aucun cas un

UTILISATION
1. Éteignez tous les consommateurs du véhicule (par ex., feux et radio) et retirez la clé du contact.
2. Connectez la pince crocodile rouge sur la borne positive et la pince crocodile noire sur la borne
négative de la batterie externe de 12 V.
3. Insérez l’appareil dans la prise OBDII (DLC) du véhicule.
4. Si toutes les connexions électriques sont correctes, la LED doit s’allumer, l’appareil est alors
prêt à fonctionner et le remplacement de la batterie du véhicule peut commencer.
5. Si la LED ne s’allume pas, le fusible (F) grillé pourrait en être la cause.
6. Débranchez les pinces crocodile, retirez la fiche de la prise ODBII et vérifiez l’état du fusible (F).
S’il est cassé et doit être remplacé, assurez-vous de n’utiliser qu’un fusible neuf, avec
exactement les mêmes caractéristiques que l’ancien.
PROTECTION DE L’ENVIRONNEMENT
Recyclez les matières indésirables au lieu de les jeter comme déchets. Tous les outils,
accessoires et emballages doivent être triés, envoyés à un point de collecte de recyclage et
éliminés dans le respect de l’environnement.
ÉLIMINATION
Éliminez ce produit à la fin de son cycle de vie conformément à la directive européenne
relative aux déchets d’équipements électriques et électroniques. Contactez votre instance
locale d’élimination des déchets pour obtenir des informations sur les mesures de recyclage à
appliquer ou remettez le produit à BGS technic ou à votre fournisseur d’appareils électriques

Soporte de tensión de alimentación

ATENCIÓN
Lea atentamente el manual de instrucciones y todas las instrucciones de seguridad antes de utilizar
el producto. Utilice el producto de forma correcta, con precaución y solo de acuerdo con su uso
previsto. El incumplimiento de las instrucciones de seguridad puede provocar daños, lesiones y la
anulación de la garantía. Guarde estas instrucciones en un lugar seguro y seco para futuras
consultas. Incluya el manual de instrucciones si entrega el producto a un tercero.
USO PREVISTO
Este producto suministra tensión al vehículo durante la sustitución de la batería, para que
se conserven diversos ajustes, como los códigos de radio, la memoria de los asientos, etc., y se evita
la pérdida de datos en la electrónica de a bordo durante la sustitución de la batería. La conexión se
realiza a través de la toma OBD II (DLC) y mediante pinzas de cocodrilo a una batería externa de 12
voltios del vehículo. El dispositivo dispone de un indicador de disponibilidad que comprueba e indica
la configuración de una conexión segura.
INDICACIONES DE SEGURIDAD
•Mantenga a los niños y otras personas no autorizadas lejos del área de trabajo.
•No permita que los niños jueguen con el producto o su embalaje.
•No utilice el producto si estuviera dañado.
•Utilice el producto solo para el fin previsto.
•Conecte el dispositivo únicamente a una batería externa de 12 voltios del vehículo.
•Retire la llave de contacto antes de la reparación, esto evitará un intento accidental de
arrancar el motor y los daños resultantes.
•No encienda ningún consumidor cuando el dispositivo esté en uso.
•Si el fusible está defectuoso, sustitúyalo por uno nuevo del mismo valor.
•Este manual pretende ser una información breve y en ningún caso sustituye a un manual de
taller. Consulte siempre la documentación de servicio específica del vehículo para obtener
instrucciones sobre el desmontaje y la instalación de la batería del vehículo.

APLICACIÓN
1. Apague todos los consumidores, como las luces y la radio, y retire la llave de contacto de la
cerradura de encendido.
2. Conecte la pinza de cocodrilo roja al terminal positivo y la negra al terminal negativo de una
batería externa de 12V.
3. Inserte el dispositivo en la toma OBD II (DLC) del vehículo.
4. Cuando todas las conexiones eléctricas son correctas, el LED debe encenderse, el dispositivo
ahora está listo para funcionar y se puede empezar a sustituir la batería del vehículo.
5. Si el LED no se enciende, puede deberse a que el fusible (F) está fundido.
6. Retire las pinzas de cocodrilo, desenchufe el dispositivo de la toma OBD II y compruebe el
fusible (F). Cuando sustituya el fusible por uno nuevo, asegúrese de que el nuevo fusible tiene
los mismos valores característicos.
PROTECCIÓN MEDIOAMBIENTAL
Recicle las sustancias no deseadas, en lugar de tirarlas a la basura. Todas las herramientas,
accesorios y embalajes deben clasificarse, llevarse a un punto de recogida de residuos y
desecharse de manera respetuosa con el medio ambiente.
ELIMINACIÓN
Deseche este producto al final de su vida útil de acuerdo con la Directiva de residuos de
aparatos eléctricos y electrónicos en desuso de la UE. Infórmese en su administración local
