1. INTRODUCTION
This manual is an integral and essential part of the E-OMNIA pedal-assist bicycle and must be handed
over to the user.
Before use, it is essential that users read, understand, and follow the following provisions carefully.
The manufacturer shall not be held liable for any personal injury or damage to property, including to
the pedal-assist bicycles itself, if they are used incorrectly with respect to the instructions given in
this manual.
In view of the continuous technological development, the manufacturer reserves the right to modify
the pedal-assist bicycles without notice, without this manual being automatically updated.
The Use and Maintenance manual is integral to the bicycle; it must therefore be kept intact in a safe
place throughout the lifetime of the bicycle. This manual must be available to the user at all times.
If you have any problems or need clarifications, please contact without hesitation the specialist dealer
from whom you have purchased the pedal-assist bicycle. The list of specialized dealers is available on

1.1 SAFETY WARNINGS
Refer to the specific sheet “Safety Warnings” and read it carefully in its entirety to avoid health risks
or damage to property or persons.
Some safety topics will be described later, with the following symbols:
PAY ATTENTION
Highlights behavioural norms to be followed to avoid damage to the pedal-assist bicycle and/or
the occurrence of dangerous situations.
RESIDUAL RISKS
Highlights the presence of residual hazards that the user should consider to avoid injury or damage.
1.2 LIABILITY
Failure to comply with the operating instructions and safety provisions contained herein will relieve
the manufacturer of any liability.
If the maintenance of the pedal-assist bicycle is carried out in a way that does not comply with the
instructions given, with non-original spare parts, or in any way that affects its integrity or modifies
its characteristics, the manufacturer shall not be liable with regard to the safety of persons and the
defective operation of the pedal-assist bicycle.
The pedal-assist bicycle is delivered assembled and ready for use by the dealer unless otherwise
indicated at the time of sale. The seller is responsible for unpacking and setting up the bicycle.
2. DESCRIPTION OF THE BICYCLE
2.1 DESIGNED USE
The manufacturer or the dealer shall not be liable for any damage resulting from the use of the
pedal-assist bicycle that is not in conformity with its intended use.
The designed uses are described in the following table. The E-OMNIA pedal-assist bicycle has different
types of use depending on the model. The model-category association is shown below.

2.2 GENERAL PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
All E-OMNIA pedal-assist models are equipped with a rechargeable battery and electric motor, which
operates only when pedalling and gradually stops as the vehicle speed approaches 25 km/h (20 or 28
mph for the US version), and then stops completely at that speed. The models are listed in the following
table, including photos, relevant code, and intended use (for full specifications, see www.bianchi.com):

2.3 IDENTIFICATION PLATES
The E-OMNIA pedal-assist bicycle is equipped with an identification plate that certifies the approval
according to the EC regulation, in accordance with the standard EN 15194 (2017). This plate must be
present, legible, and not removable on the bicycle.
2.4 COMPONENTS OF THE BICYCLE
2.4.1 GEAR SHIFT
The gear shift adjusts the ratio between the user's pedal stroke and the distance travelled by the bicycle.
By moving the chain from one gear to the other, the gear shift allows to use different drive ratios de-
pending on the type of track you are traveling. In some E-OMNIA models (T-Type man and lady YQBE6I,
YQBE7I and C-Type lady YQBE9I) the belt is used in conjunction with a Nexus gear shift which realizes
shifting inside the hub rather than by displacing the belt. The E-OMNIA pedal-assist bicycle has different
types of gear shift depending on the model:

Do not operate the gear shift while the bicycle is stationary. The gear shift must be operated only
when pedalling, applying a constant torque to the pedals.
For details, maintenance, and support in case of a problem, refer to the specific Shimano or SRAM
manual depending on the model fitted on the bicycle.
2.4.2 SADDLE AND SEATPOST
The saddle and the seatpost can be adjusted according to the type of model chosen.

Before using the pedal-assist bicycle, check that the adjustment screws are tightened as indicated
near them. If there is any doubt about the adjustment, consult an authorized dealer.
2.4.3 HANDLEBAR
The height of the handlebar as well as its inclination can be adjusted by means of the corresponding
adjustment screws. The position of the screws and the modes may vary depending on the model:

Before using the pedal-assist bicycle, check that the handlebar is aligned with the front
wheel and that the adjustment screws are tightened as indicated near them.
If there is any doubt about the adjustment, consult an authorized dealer.
2.4.4 BRAKES
All E-OMNIA models are equipped with a disc brake system which can be operated by actuating the
two levers on the handlebar. The right-hand lever operates the rear brake, the left-hand lever operates
the front brake. The braking torque is proportional to the force applied to the levers. You can adjust the
inclination and position of the levers by loosening the lever locking screw.
Before using the pedal-assist bicycle, make sure that the screws securing the brake levers have been
tightened in accordance with the torque indicated on the screws. Adjustment of any other brake system
parameters is not recommended. If there is any doubt about the adjustment, consult an authorized
dealer. Do not touch the brake discs after braking, as they may be hot and this may result in burns.
2.4.5 PEDALS
The pedals must be tightened to the cranks. By applying torque to the pedals, it is possible to apply a
translational motion to the pedal-assist bicycle. All E-OMNIA models are equipped with electric pedal
assist, the motor is automatically activated once the pedal-assist bicycle is switched on and a torque
is applied to the pedals.
The user can fit and remove the pedals ensuring they are tightened to a torque of 22 to 25 Nm.
When assembling, pay attention to the direction of screwing of the pedals: the right-hand pedal
has a right-hand thread, the left-hand pedal has a left-hand thread.
Pedals other than those supplied can be mounted provided that they are in accordance with the laws
of the Country where the bicycle is used.
2.4.6 LIGHTS
All E-OMNIA models have an integrated front and rear lighting system. The reflectors supplied are
required by law in some countries. It is recommended to refer to the national and regional regulations
of the Country where the bicycle is used. Once the switch on button (4) is pressed, the front and rear
lights are switched on and off simultaneously using the control (3) shown in Figure 3 for E-OMNIA
T-Type (man and lady), C-Type, FT-Type models.
Once the switch on button is pressed, the front and rear lights are switched on simultaneously by
pressing and holding for an average time between 1 and 2.5 s the button (6) shown in Figure 4 for
E-OMNIA X-Type and FX-Type models. The lights are switched off by pressing the control (6) for more
than 2,5 s. The inclination of the light beam can be adjusted by means of the adjustment screw shown
in Figure 5.

2.4.7 SUSPENSIONS
The function of the suspensions is to reduce the forces transmitted by the roughness of the ground to
the rider of the pedal-assist bicycle.
E-OMNIA FX-Type and FT-Type models have front and rear suspension. The front suspensions are ad-
justed using the ring nut on the top of the stems. The rear suspension is adjusted using a ring nut on
the top.
The suspension should be adjusted by an authorized dealer. If abnormal noises from the fork are
noticed, contact an authorized dealer.
For details on suspension functions and settings, please refer to the specific manual.
2.4.8 PEDALASSIST SYSTEM
All E-OMNIA models are equipped with BOSCH electric motor to assist the user during pedalling. Once
the degree of electric motor assistance is selected, the motor will be enabled automatically during
pedal operation and will be disabled immediately if pedalling ceases. The motor power depends on the
torque applied to the pedals, multiplied by the selected level of assistance. Assistance drops linearly
until it stops when the speed of 28 km/h (20 or 25 mph for the US version) is reached.
2.4.8.1 ASSISTANCE SYSTEM SWITCH ON/OFF

For E-OMNIA T-Type (man and lady), C-Type, FT-Type models, the assis-
tance system is activated by pressing the switch on button (4) shown
in Figure 3.
For E-OMNIA X-Type and FX-Type models, the assistance system is ac-
tivated by pressing the switch on button (1) shown in Figure 6.
The assistance system can be activated only if the battery is properly
inserted into the compartment and is sufficiently charged. In addition,
the speed sensor must be correctly connected to the drive unit (see
motor specific instructions in case of doubt).
After 10 minutes of inactivity (the bicycle is not moved and no button is pressed) the assistance
system will deactivate.
Do not press on the pedals when you turn on the pedal-assist bicycle.
Start pedalling when the bike is fully switched on.
After 10 minutes of inactivity (the bicycle is not moved and no button is pressed) the assistance sys-
tem will deactivate.
2.4.8.2 TRIP COMPUTER MENUS FOR EOMNIA XTYPE AND FXTYPE MODELS ONLY
After the trip computer is turned on, the last setting you made will normally be displayed. Pressing
the button (6) repeatedly for an average time will cycle through the travelled distance (TRIP), the total
kilometres (TOTAL) and the battery power (RANGE). (Briefly pressing the – button will decrease the
pedal-assist level!). To reset the travelled distance (TRIP), select TRIP and press buttons (6) and (5) at
the same time for a while. Initially, the display will show RESET. If you press and hold both buttons, the
travelled distance (TRIP) will be set to 0.
To reset the RANGE, select RANGE and press buttons (6) and (5) at the same time for a while. Initially, the
display will show RESET. If you press and hold both buttons, the travelled distance (TRIP) will be set to 0.

2.4.8.3 TRIP COMPUTER MENUS FOR EOMNIA TTYPE MAN AND LADY,
CTYPE, FTTYPE MODELS ONLY

By pressing the buttons (10) and (8) (see Figure 7),
the various screens including information on trip
values can be accessed, even during the trip. This
allows to keep both hands on the handlebar while
riding. The <Settings> accessible via the status
screen cannot be changed while riding. By press-
ing the selection button (9), the following functions
can be performed:
• While riding, the quick menu can be ac-
cessed.
• When the bicycle is stopped, the settings
menu can be called up in the status screen.
• You can confirm information values and warnings.
• You can close a dialog box.
• If the trip computer is removed from its support without being disabled, information about the
last trip is displayed in sequence. If no button is pressed when the trip computer is removed from
its support, the computer will shut down after 1 minute.
When a trip computer is inserted in its support, it is possible to recall in sequence the following
screens (the sequence is indicated by the orientation bar (g) shown in Figure 8):

As soon as the active trip computer is engaged on its support, the
initial screen appears which, with reference to Figure 8, shows the fol-

2.4.8.4 ASSISTANCE REGULATION FOR EOMNIA XTYPE AND FXTYPE MODELS ONLY
On the trip computer, you can set the level of assistance of the eBike motor while pedalling. The level
of assistance can be changed at any time, even while riding.
Five assistance levels are available:
• OFF: Motor assistance is disabled; you can operate the pedal-assist bicycle by pedalling as you
would on a regular bicycle. With this level of assistance, the push aid cannot be enabled.
• ECO: active assistance at the highest level of efficiency, for maximum range.
• TOUR: uniform level assistance, for long trips.
• SPORT/e-MTB:
• SPORT: high level assistance, for sports riding on mountain routes and for city traffic.
• e-MTB: optimal level of assistance for any type of terrain, sports starts, better dynamics and
maximum level of performance
• TURBO: maximum level of assistance, up to high pedalling frequencies, for sporty riding.
To increase the pedal-assist level, briefly press the + button (6) (see Figure 4) on the trip computer,
repeating the action until the desired pedal-assist level is displayed; to decrease the level, briefly
press the – button (5).
2.4.8.5 REGULATION OF ASSISTANCE LEVEL FOR MODELS EOMNIA TTYPE
MAN AND LADY, CTYPE, FTTYPE ONLY

On the trip computer, you can set the level of assistance of
the eBike motor while pedalling. The level of assistance can be
changed at any time, even while riding.
Five assistance levels are available:
• OFF: Motor assistance is disabled; you can operate the
pedal-assist bicycle by pedalling as you would on a regular
bicycle. With this level of assistance, the push aid cannot be
enabled.
• ECO: active assistance at the highest level of efficiency, for
maximum range.
• TOUR: uniform level assistance, for long trips.
• SPORT/e-MTB:
• SPORT: high level assistance, for sports riding on mountain routes and for city traffic.
• e-MTB: optimal level of assistance for any type of terrain, sports starts, better dynamics and
maximum level of performance
• TURBO: maximum level of assistance, up to high pedalling frequencies, for sporty riding.
To increase the pedal-assist level, briefly press the + button (12) (see ) on the trip computer, repeating
the action until the desired pedal-assist level is displayed; to decrease the level, briefly press the –
button (11).
2.4.8.6 PEDALASSIST MODE WALK
The push aid can facilitate the push of the pedal-assist bicycle. The speed in this function depends
on the gear engaged and can reach a maximum of 6 km/h (3.7 mph for the US version). The lower the
selected gear, the lower the speed in this function (at full power).
The push aid function should only be used when pushing the eBike. If the eBike push aid is used
without the wheels touching the ground, there is a risk of injury.
For E-OMNIA X-Type and FX-Type models, press the WALK button on the trip computer briefly to acti-
vate the push aid. For E-OMNIA T-Type (man e lady), C-Type, FT-Type models, press the button (13) in
Figure 7 on the trip computer briefly to activate the push aid. Once the function is enabled, press the
+ button within 3 seconds and hold it. The eBike motor will be enabled. In the OFF level of assistance,
the push aid cannot be enabled. Push aid will be disabled when one of the following events occurs: re-
lease of the + button, locking of the wheels of the bicycle (for example, when braking or due to impact
against an obstacle) or speed above 6 km/h (3.7 mph for the US version).
2.4.9 BATTERY
The battery is charged using the supplied battery charger (BCS220, BCS230 or BCS250), which is con-
nected to the power outlet and is inserted into the bicycle charging port on the seat tube (Figure 10).
To insert the plug into the connector on the bicycle, you must lift the rubber cover and connect the
charger into the socket (Figure 11).
Always switch off the battery before charging and clean the charging socket cover. In particular, avoid
water or dirt on the charging socket and contacts, e.g. sand or soil.

There is a risk of fire due to the charging station heating up during charging. Recharge the
batteries on the bicycle only if they are dry and there is no risk of fire.

The charge state of the battery is visible through the 5 led indicators on the battery (the battery cover
must be removed to view the state) or from the trip computer, once it is turned on.
The battery can be removed by removing the battery cover beforehand. To remove the latter it is
necessary to centrally press the removal button at the bottom of the down tube shown in Figure 12. To
refit the battery cover, you must press the button sideways as shown in Figure 12.
The battery is released by turning the supplied key clockwise as shown in Figure 13. The battery will
be released from its support, but will be held in place to prevent accidental dropping. To completely
remove the battery, you must press down the tab as shown in Figure 14.

The battery is very heavy, be careful when removing the battery. Bianchi is not liable for any
damage caused by accidental falls. Do not insert the charger or use the pedal-assist bicycle
without properly positioning the battery. It is strictly forbidden to use water or solvents to clean
the battery or battery support.
For E-OMNIA X-Type and FX-Type models, the battery state is shown as in Figure 15, each battery
indicator corresponds to 20% charge. When the battery is completely exhausted, assistance will be
progressively reduced. The battery will power the lights for approximately 2 hours.
For E-OMNIA T-Type (man and lady), C-Type, FT-Type models, the battery state is shown as a per-
centage on the screen. When the battery is completely exhausted, assistance will be progressively
reduced. The battery will power the lights for approximately 2 hours.
For details, error codes, maintenance, and support in the event of a problem, refer to the specific
Bosch PowerTube 400, 500, 625 manual.

To avoid compromising the total battery capacity and performance, perform frequent charging
cycles and do not leave the battery fully discharged for more than 24h.
3. BICYCLE CLEANING
The cleanliness of the bicycle is essential to ensure that all parts of the bicycle operate correctly.
Do not use harsh cleaning agents for cleaning. Do not use sharp or metallic objects to clean.
Never clean the pedal-assist bike with a violent jet of water or with high-pressure equipment
such as pressure washers. Bianchi is not liable for damage to the motor, batteries, or electrical
parts caused by water ingress due to high-pressure jets.
For cleaning and maintenance it is necessary to have:
• Clean cloth
• Lukewarm water with a little mild soap
• Soft brush or sponge
• Paint protection products
• Chain lubricant
Frequently clean the pedal-assist bicycle, even if it is not very dirty. Be sure to wipe all surfaces and
components (except brakes, gear shifts, and chain) with a sponge moistened with warm water and
neutral or mild soap. Always rinse with a sponge moistened with lukewarm water and remove all soap
residues. Dry all parts with a soft, dry cloth. If necessary, apply a paint protection product (refer to your
dealer for the most suitable product). Do not use products to treat the brake discs. After cleaning the
bicycle, lubricate the chain with suitable chain oil (refer to your dealer for any questions). For addi-
tional information on cleaning the individual components, refer to the manufacturer's specifications.
4. MAINTENANCE
The proper operation of the pedal-assist bicycle depends largely on its proper maintenance. Do not
service your bicycle if you do not have sufficient skills. Instead refer to a specialist dealer.
Special attention should be paid to:
• The correct torque of all screws and pins; if you do not have a torque wrench, refer to a specialist
dealer.
• Possible oil leaks from the brake system. In that case, contact a dealer immediately.
• Possible fluid leaks from the battery. In that case, contact a dealer immediately.
• Possible smoke coming from the battery. In that case, contact a dealer immediately.
4.1 INSPECTION INTERVALS
Compliance with the inspection intervals is in the interest of the user to ensure the correct operation
and safety of the bicycle. Bianchi reserves the right, in the event of a service request under warranty,
to verify whether the contested defect could be avoided by regular maintenance. On the basis of this
verification, Bianchi reserves the right to deny the service under warranty. A first bicycle service must
be carried out 30/60 days after purchase and mandatorily within 500 km (or 310 miles) of use. The
service is carried out at the specialist dealer and includes the following items:
• Tread wear check
• Check and/or adjustment of spoke tightening and centring
• Hub clearance check
• Check for quick lock or pin tightness
• Adjustment of chain or belt tightness and check for wear
• Check for wear and adjustment of steering set clearances
• Check for handlebar screws tightness

5. WARRANTY
In addition to the statutory warranty according to EC Directive 99/44, Bianchi provides an additional com-
mercial Conventional Warranty on the frame of the pedal-assist bicycle.
This Conventional Warranty – in addition to the statutory warranty in accordance with Directive 99/44 EC(*)
– is provided if each of the following conditions applies:
1. The Product is part of the Bianchi range and is purchased from one of the Bianchi Dealers listed on
the website www.bianchi.com or from authorized online dealers.
2. The Buyer provides proof of purchase of the Product.
3. The Buyer provides proof of the registration (via electronic or paper means) of the Product on the
MyBianchi portal under “Register your Bianchi”.
4. The Purchaser checks the bicycle together with the Bianchi Dealer before taking possession of it,

in order to ensure that it meets his/her expectations. The registration of the product on the MyBianchi
portal under “Register your Bianchi” and the subsequent issue of a document certifying the registration
is equivalent to the confirmation by the Purchaser that the above-mentioned verification of conformity
together with the Bianchi Dealer has been carried out and that the Product is delivered in perfect con-
dition and ready for use, equipped with the relevant operating and maintenance manual(s).
5. The Product is used in accordance with the intended use as stated in the operating and mainte-
nance manual.
6. In the event of the Buyer's sale of the Product to third parties, in addition to the above documents, the
Buyer hands down a copy of the contract attesting the transfer to another party.
Where all of the above conditions are met, the Manufacturer's Conventional Warranty will be provided in the
following manner and within the following Limits:
1. The Bianchi frame is guaranteed to be free from original defects of conformity for a period of 5 years
(60 months) from the date of delivery, i.e. three years longer than the period provided for in Directive
99/44 EC (*), all other bicycle components are guaranteed to be free from original defects of conformity
for a period of 2 years (24 months) from the date of delivery, as provided for in Directive 99/44 EC (*).
2. Services under this Conventional Warranty shall be carried out exclusively by the Bianchi Dealer
from which the Buyer has bought the Product.
For this purpose, the Buyer must contact only the Seller (physical or on-line) from which the purchase
was made.
3. Due to the inherent performance degradation to which they are subject, E Bike batteries are gua-
ranteed for 1 year.
(*) In some countries of the European Community the warranty period may be longer than the above: in this case, any
longer period required by the law of the place where the vehicle was purchased applies.
5.1 WHAT TO DO IF A WARRANTY SERVICE IS REQUIRED
In the event that, during the warranty period, the Product requires repair work due to an original defect, the
Buyer shall immediately contact the Bianchi Reseller where the Product was purchased, describing the
problem and having it examined, providing the warranty booklet, the proof of purchase, and a proof of the
Guarantee Certificate.
The warranty service can be performed only by the Dealer from whom the Product was purchased. In
the case of purchase from on-line Dealer, if the latter is unable to provide the warranty service, the on-line
Dealer will collect the bicycle and send it to Bianchi for the repair, as well as take care of the return to the
final customer.
In the event of a request for repair in relation to which the warranty is not applicable, Bianchi reserves the
right to charge the Purchaser the service cost.
In the event that the Purchaser contacts a Bianchi Dealer other than the one from which he purchased
the Product, such Reseller may not provide the warranty service. In the event that the Bianchi Dealer
other than the one from whom the Product was purchased agrees to provide the service, such Dealer
may charge the Buyer additional costs not covered by the Bianchi Warranty, which will remain entirely
at the Buyer's expense.
The warranty applies to the first purchase of the pedal-assist bicycle. A proof of purchase and a proof
of the warranty certificate (in paper form or via e-mail) must be submitted to ensure the effectiveness
of the guarantee action. If the bicycle is subject to a change of ownership, it is necessary to submit, in
addition to the above documents, a copy of the contract signed by private individuals that establishes
the change of ownership.
The warranty covers only original defects of conformity. The warranty does not cover any transportation
and return costs of the defective frame (which can be requested by Bianchi) and the processing costs for
replacing the defective frame with a new frame.
All damage resulting from non-maintenance, accident, incorrect assembly of accessories, modification of
the pedal-assist bicycle by the addition or modification of unauthorized components, and incorrect use, is
also excluded from the warranty.
If the frame or bicycle is replaced, the warranty service shall be deemed complete. The warranty period
start date remains the date of first purchase.
At the time of purchase, a contract is concluded with the specialized dealer. The latter is required to provide
warranty services under the conditions mentioned above. Only contact the dealer from whom the purchase
was made, the latter will contact Bianchi if necessary. If the purchase was made from an on-line reseller, the
latter is in any case responsible for the issue of the necessary documentation (proof of purchase and proof
of registration) of the warranty service and, if the on-line reseller is unable to provide the service, he must
take care of bicycle collection and shipment to Bianchi for repair, as well as the subsequent return to the
end customer. Bianchi reserves the right to charge a flat-rate processing fee in the event of an unjustified
claim.
In the event that the customer contacts a different Bianchi dealer, the latter is not required to provide the
warranty service and, if he agrees to provide this service, he is entitled to request additional costs not cove-
red by Bianchi, which must be borne entirely by the customer.
6. DISPOSAL
To avoid any form of environmental pollution, Bianchi invites the end customer to dispose of the product and
its packaging in accordance with the regulations in force in the Country of purchase.
6.1 PACKAGING
The packaging of the bicycle is generally disposed of by the dealer. In case of on-line purchase, sort plastic
and cardboard packing. Dispose of in accordance with the regulations in force in the Country of purchase.
6.2 ELECTRONIC COMPONENTS AND ACCESSORIES
Batteries and electronic components must be disposed of at an electrical equipment collection centre. Do
not dispose of any liquid spilled from the batteries in the environment.
6.3 TIRES AND INNER TUBES
Tires and inner tubes must be disposed of at a special waste collection centre. Do not dispose of in the
environment and do not dispose of in household waste.
6.4 LUBRICANTS, BRAKE OIL, AND SPECIAL FLUIDS FOR BICYCLE CARE
Lubricants, oil, and fluids of various kinds used on the bicycle must not be disposed of in any way in hou-
sehold waste, sewage, or the environment, but at a special waste collection centre.
6.5 OTHER COMPONENTS OF THE PEDALASSIST BICYCLE
A pedal-assist bicycle is defined as WEEE at the end of its life. It can therefore be disposed of free of charge
in its entirety at a special waste collection centre. Please contact the appropriate office in your Country of
residence or consult the relevant regulations.

1. INTRODUZIONE
Questo manuale costituisce parte integrante ed essenziale della bicicletta a pedalata assistita, model-
lo E-OMNIA, e deve essere consegnato all’utilizzatore.
Prima della messa in funzione è indispensabile che gli utilizzatori leggano, comprendano e seguano
scrupolosamente le disposizioni che seguono.
Il costruttore non risponde di danni arrecati a persone e/o cose oppure alle biciclette a pedalata assi-
stita, se esse sono utilizzate in modo scorretto rispetto alle prescrizioni indicate.
Nell’ottica del continuo sviluppo tecnologico, la casa costruttrice si riserva di modificare le biciclette
a pedalata assistita senza preavviso, senza che sia automaticamente aggiornato questo manuale.
Il Manuale d’Uso e Manutenzione costituisce parte integrante delle biciclette a pedalata assistita; per-
tanto è necessario conservarlo integro ed in luogo sicuro durante tutta la vita delle stesse. Il presente
manuale deve sempre essere a disposizione dell’utilizzatore.

modificarne le caratteristiche, il costruttore si riterrà sollevato da qualsiasi responsabilità inerente alla
sicurezza delle persone e il funzionamento difettoso della bicicletta a pedalata assistita.
La bicicletta a pedalata assistita è consegnata montata e pronta all’uso dal rivenditore se non altri-
menti segnalato al momento della vendita. Il venditore è responsabile del disimballo e messa a punto
della bicicletta.
2. DESCRIZIONE DELLA BICICLETTA
2.1 DESTINAZIONE D’USO
Il produttore o il rivenditore non sono da ritenersi in alcun modo responsabili per danni derivanti
dall’utilizzo non conforme alla destinazione d’uso della bicicletta a pedalata assistita.
Le destinazioni d’uso sono descritte nella seguente tabella. La bicicletta a pedalata assistita E-OM-
NIA possiede diverse tipologie di utilizzo in base all’allestimento. L’associazione allestimento-cate-
goria è indicata di seguito.

2.2 DESCRIZIONE GENERALE DEL PRODOTTO
Tutti i modelli a pedalata assistita di E-OMNIA sono dotati di batteria ricaricabile e di motore elettrico, il
cui intervento avviene solo in concomitanza della pedalata e progressivamente si arresta man mano
che la velocità del veicolo si avvicina a 25 km/h (20 o 28 mph per la versione US), per poi arrestarsi del
tutto a tale velocità. I modelli sono elencati nella seguente tabella comprensiva di foto, relativo codice

2.3 TARGHE IDENTIFICATIVE
La bicicletta a pedalata assistita E-OMNIA è dotata di targa identificativa che certifica l’omologazione
secondo la normativa CE, in conformità con la norma EN 15194 (2017). Tale targa deve essere presente,
leggibile e non rimovibile sulla bicicletta.
2.4 COMPONENTI DELLA BICICLETTA
2.4.1 CAMBIO DI RAPPORTO
Il cambio di rapporto regola il rapporto tra la pedalata dell’utilizzatore e la distanza percorsa dalla bici-
cletta. Spostando la catena da un ingranaggio all’altro il cambio consente di utilizzare diversi rapporti di
trasmissione in funzione della tipologia di tracciato che si sta percorrendo. In alcuni modelli di E-OMNIA
(T-Type man and lady YQBE6I, YQBE7I e C-Type lady YQBE9I) è previsto l’utilizzo della cinghia in accoppia-
ta con un cambio di tipo Nexus per il quale la regolazione dei rapporti è effettuata internamente al mozzo
e non mediante lo spostamento della cinghia. La bicicletta a pedalata assistita E-OMNIA possiede diversi
tipi di cambio di rapporto a seconda dell’allestimento:

durante la pedalata, applicando ai pedali una coppia costante.

Prima di utilizzare la bicicletta a pedalata assistita verificare che le viti di regolazione siano
serrate come indicato in prossimità delle stesse. In caso di dubbi sulla regolazione, consultare un
rivenditore autorizzato.
2.4.3 MANUBRIO
L’altezza del manubrio così come la sua inclinazione, possono essere regolati tramite le corrispettive
viti di regolazione. Le posizione delle viti e modalità possono variare a seconda dell’allestimento:

Prima di utilizzare la bicicletta a pedalata assistita verificare che il manubrio sia allineato con la
ruota anteriore e che le viti di regolazione siano serrate come indicato in prossimità delle stesse.
In caso di dubbi sulla regolazione, consultare un rivenditore autorizzato.
2.4.4 FRENI
Tutti i modelli di E-OMNIA sono dotati di un sistema di frenatura a disco azionabile tramite attuazione
delle due leve presenti sul manubrio. La leva destra aziona il freno posteriore, la leva sinistra aziona il
freno anteriore. La coppia di frenata è proporzionale alla forza applicata alle leve. Èpossibile regolare
inclinazione e posizionamento leve allentando la relativa vite di bloccaggio.
Prima di utilizzare la bicicletta a pedalata assistita assicurarsi di aver serrato le viti di fissaggio delle leve
freno in accordo alla coppia indicata sulle viti. Si sconsiglia la regolazione di qualsiasi altro parametro
dell’impianto frenante. In caso di dubbi sulla regolazione, consultare un rivenditore autorizzato. Non
toccare i dischi dei freni dopo la frenata, potrebbero essere roventi e provocare ustioni.
2.4.5 PEDALI
I pedali devono essere serrati alle pedivelle. Tramite l’applicazione di coppia ai pedali è possibile im-
porre un moto traslatorio alla bicicletta a pedalata assistita. Tutti i modelli di E-OMNIA sono dotati di
assistenza elettrica alla pedalata, il motore si aziona automaticamente una volta accesa la bicicletta
a pedalata assistita e una volta impressa una coppia ai pedali.
L’utente può montare e smontare i pedali assicurandosi che siano serrati a una coppia tra 22 e 25 Nm.
Durante il montaggio prestare attenzione al verso di avvitamento dei pedali: il pedale destro ha
filettatura destrorsa, il pedale sinistro è dotato di filettatura sinistrorsa.
Èpermesso il montaggio di pedali differenti da quelli in dotazione purché in accordo con le leggi
vigenti nel Paese di utilizzo.
2.4.6 LUCI
In tutti i modelli di E-OMNIA è presente un sistema integrato di luci anteriori e posteriori. I catarifran-
genti in dotazione sono obbligatori per legge in alcuni Paesi: si consiglia di consultare le normative na-
zionali e regionali del relativo Paese di utilizzo. Una volta premuto il tasto di accensione (4), l’attivazione
e la disattivazione delle luci anteriori e posteriori avviene in contemporanea mediante il comando (3)
illustrato in Figura 3 per i modelli di E-OMNIA T-Type (man e lady), C-Type, FT-Type.
Una volta premuto il tasto di accensione, l’attivazione delle luci anteriori e posteriori avviene in con-
temporanea tenendo premuto il tasto (6) illustrato in Figura 4 per un tempo medio tra 1 e 2,5 s per i
modelli di E-OMNIA X-Type e FX-Type. La disattivazione delle luci avviene premendo il comando (6) per
oltre 2,5 s. L’inclinazione del fascio luminoso del fanale anteriore può essere regolata attraverso la vite
di regolazione indicata in Figura 5.

2.4.7 SOSPENSIONI
La funzione delle sospensioni è quella di ridurre le forze trasmesse dalle asperità del terreno sul gui-
datore della bicicletta a pedalata assistita.
I modelli di E-OMNIA FX-Type e FT-Type sono dotati di sospensione anteriore e posteriore. La regolazio-
ne delle sospensioni anteriori avviene tramite la ghiera posta sulla parte alta degli steli. La regolazione
della sospensione posteriore avviene tramite una ghiera posta nella parte alta.
È opportuno far regolare le sospensioni da un rivenditore autorizzato. Qualora si riscontrino dei
rumori anomali provenienti dalla forcella è necessario rivolgersi a un rivenditore autorizzato.
Per maggiori informazioni sulle funzioni e le impostazioni delle sospensioni si invita l’utente a
consultare il manuale specifico.
2.4.8 SISTEMA DI ASSISTENZA ALLA PEDALATA
Tutti i modelli di E-OMNIA sono dotati di motorizzazione elettrica BOSCH per l’assistenza all’utilizzatore
durante la pedalata. Una volta selezionata l’intensità di assistenza del motore elettrico il propulsore si
attiva in maniera autonoma durante l’azionamento dei pedali, e viene disattivato immediatamente se
la pedalata cessa. La potenza del motore dipende dalla coppia impartita ai pedali, secondo un fattore
moltiplicativo in base al livello di assistenza selezionato. L’assistenza cala linearmente fino ad annul-
larsi con il raggiungimento dei 25 km/h (20 o 28 mph per la versione US).
2.4.8.1ACCENSIONE/SPEGNIMENTODELSISTEMADIASSISTENZA

Per i modelli di E-OMNIA T-Type (man e lady), C-Type, FT-Type il sistema
di assistenza si attiva mediante la pressione del pulsante di accensio-
ne (4) illustrato in Figura 3.
Per i modelli di E-OMNIA X-Type e FX-Type il sistema di assistenza si
attiva mediante la pressione del pulsante di accensione (1) illustrato
in Figura 6.
Il sistema di assistenza può essere attivato solo se la batteria è corret-
tamente inserita nell’alloggiamento ed è sufficientemente carica. Inol-
tre il sensore di velocità deve essere collegato correttamente all’unità
motrice (consultare istruzioni specifiche del motore in caso di dubbi).
Dopo 10 minuti di inattività (la bici non viene spostata e non viene premuto alcun tasto)
il sistema di assistenza si disattiverà.
Non premere sui pedali nel momento dell’accensione della bicicletta a pedalata assistita.
Iniziare a pedalare nel momento in cui la bicicletta è completamente accesa.
Dopo 10 minuti di inattività (la bici non viene spostata e non viene premuto alcun tasto) il sistema di
assistenza si disattiverà.
2.4.8.2 MENU DEL COMPUTER DI BORDO SOLO PER MODELLI EOMNIA XTYPE E FXTYPE
Dopo l’accensione del computer di bordo, verrà di norma visualizzata l’ultima impostazione effettuata.
Premendo ripetutamente per un tempo medio il tasto (6) verranno visualizzati in sequenza il tragitto
percorso TRIP, i chilometri totali TOTAL e l’autonomia della batteria RANGE. (Premendo brevemente il
tasto –, il livello di pedalata assistita verrà diminuito!). Per azzerare il tragitto percorso TRIP selezionare
il tragitto TRIP e premere contemporaneamente a lungo i tasti (6) e (5). Inizialmente, il display visualiz-
zerà RESET. Tenendo premuti entrambi i tasti, il tragitto percorso TRIP verrà impostato su 0.
Per azzerare l’autonomia RANGE, selezionare l’autonomia RANGE e premere contemporaneamente
a lungo i tasti (6) e (5). Inizialmente, il display visualizzerà RESET. Tenendo premuti entrambi i tasti, il
tragitto percorso TRIP verrà impostato su 0.

Premendo i tasti (10) e (8) (si veda Figura 7), è pos-
sibile accedere alle varie schermate delle informa-
zioni sui valori di marcia, anche durante la marcia
stessa. Ciò consente di mantenere entrambe le
mani sul manubrio durante la marcia. Le <Imposta-
zioni>accessibili tramite la Schermata dello stato
non possono essere modificate durante la marcia.
Premendo il tasto di selezione (9) è possibile ese-
guire le seguenti funzioni:
• Durante la marcia, è possibile accedere al
menu rapido.
• A bicicletta ferma, nella Schermata dello stato è possibile richiamare il menu impostazioni.
• È possibile confermare valori e avvertenze informative.
• È possibile chiudere una finestra di dialogo.
• Se il computer di bordo viene rimosso dal supporto senza essere disattivato, vengono visualizza-
te in successione continua informazioni sull’ultimo percorso effettuato. Se, prelevato il computer
di bordo dal supporto, non viene premuto alcun tasto, il computer si disattiva dopo 1 minuto.
Quando un computer di bordo è inserito nel suo supporto, è possibile richiamare in successione le
seguenti schermate (la cui successione è indicata dalla barra di orientamento (g) indicata in Figura 8):

2.4.8.4 REGOLAZIONE DEL LIVELLO DI ASSISTENZA SOLO PER MODELLI EOMNIA XTYPE E FXTYPE
Sul computer di bordo è possibile impostare il livello di assistenza del propulsore per eBike durante
la pedalata. Il livello di assistenza si potrà modificare in qualsiasi momento, anche durante la marcia.
Sono disponibili 5 livelli di assistenza:
• OFF: l’assistenza del motore è disattivata; è possibile azionare la bicicletta a pedalata assistita pedalando
come su una normale bicicletta. Con questo livello di assistenza, l’ausilio alla spinta non è attivabile.
• ECO: assistenza attiva al massimo grado di efficienza, per la massima autonomia.
• TOUR: assistenza di livello uniforme, per escursioni ad ampio raggio.
• SPORT/e-MTB:
• SPORT: assistenza di livello elevato, per una guida sportiva su tragitti di tipo montuoso e per
il traffico cittadino.
• e-MTB: assistenza di livello ottimale per qualsiasi tipo di terreno, avviamenti sportivi, migliore
dinamica e massimo livello di performance
• TURBO: assistenza di livello massimo, fino ad elevate frequenze di pedalata, per una guida sportiva.
Per aumentare il livello di pedalata assistita premere brevemente il tasto + (6) (vedere Figura 4) sul
computer di bordo, ripetendo l’azione sino a visualizzare il livello di pedalata assistita desiderato;
per ridurre il livello, premere brevemente il tasto – (5).

Sul computer di bordo è possibile impostare il livello di assistenza
del propulsore per eBike durante la pedalata. Il livello di assistenza
si potrà modificare in qualsiasi momento, anche durante la marcia.
Sono disponibili 5 livelli di assistenza:
• OFF: l’assistenza del motore è disattivata; è possibile azionare
la bicicletta a pedalata assistita pedalando come su una nor-
male bicicletta. Con questo livello di assistenza, l’ausilio alla
spinta non è attivabile.
• ECO: assistenza attiva al massimo grado di efficienza, per la
massima autonomia.
• TOUR: assistenza di livello uniforme, per escursioni ad ampio raggio.
• SPORT/e-MTB:
• SPORT: assistenza di livello elevato, per una guida sportiva su tragitti di tipo montuoso e per il
traffico cittadino.
• e-MTB: assistenza di livello ottimale per qualsiasi tipo di terreno, avviamenti sportivi, migliore
dinamica e massimo livello di performance
• TURBO: assistenza di livello massimo, fino ad elevate frequenze di pedalata, per una guida sportiva.
Per aumentare il livello di pedalata assistita premere brevemente il tasto + (12) (vedere Figura 9) sul com-
puter di bordo, ripetendo l’azione sino a visualizzare il livello di pedalata assistita desiderato; per ridurre il
livello, premere brevemente il tasto – (11).
2.4.8.6 MODALITÀ DI ASSISTENZA ALLA PEDALATA WALK
L’ausilio alla spinta può agevolare la spinta della bicicletta a pedalata assistita. La velocità in tale funzione
dipende dalla marcia inserita e può raggiungere al massimo 6 km/h (3.7 mph per la versione US). Quanto
minore sarà il rapporto selezionato, tanto più ridotta sarà la velocità in tale funzione (a piena potenza).
La funzione di ausilio alla spinta andrà utilizzata esclusivamente in fase di spinta dell’eBike. Se
l’ausilio alla spinta dell’eBike viene utilizzato senza che le ruote siano a contatto con il terreno, vi è
rischio di lesioni.
Per modelli E-OMNIA X-Type e FX-Type, per attivare l’ausilio alla spinta, premere brevemente il tasto WALK
del computer di bordo. Per modelli E-OMNIA T-Type (man e lady), C-Type, FT-Type, per attivare l’ausilio alla
spinta, premere brevemente il tasto (13) in Figura 7 del computer di bordo. Una volta attivata la funzione,
premere entro 3 secondi il tasto + e mantenerlo premuto. Il propulsore dell’eBike verrà attivato. Nel livello
di assistenza OFF, l’ausilio alla spinta non è attivabile. L’ausilio alla spinta verrà disattivato al verificarsi di
uno dei seguenti eventi: rilascio del tasto +, bloccaggio delle ruote della bici (ad esempio in caso di frenata
o a causa di urto contro un ostacolo) oppure velocità superiore a 6 km/h (3.7 mph per la versione US).
2.4.9 BATTERIA
Il caricamento della batteria avviene tramite il caricabatterie fornito in dotazione (BCS220, BCS230
oppure BCS250) opportunamente collegato alla presa di corrente elettrica e inserito nella porta adibi-
ta al caricamento della bicicletta sul tubo verticale (Figura 10).
Per inserire la presa all’interno del connettore sulla bicicletta è necessario alzare la copertura in gom-
ma e connettere il caricatore nell’apposita presa (Figura 11).
Disattivare sempre la batteria prima della ricarica e pulire la copertura della presa di carica. Evitare,
in particolare, la presenza di acqua o sporco sulla presa di carica e sui contatti, ad es. sabbia o terra.
