I bambini non devono giocare con l’apparecchio. La pulizia e la

Lampada spia (1)
-luce rossa intermittente: configurazione di rete in esecuzione.
-luce fissa blu fissa: configurato in rete e col condizionatore.
-luce verde: il segnale ricevuto dallo smartphone è in trasmissione al pannello comandi
dell’apparecchio.
L’applicazione consente da remoto la selezione e il controllo delle seguenti funzioni:
Riposo; Temperatura ambiente; Timer (allo scadere del tempo si spegne); Programmazione
giornaliera e settimanale (attiva il funzionamento per intervalli a piacere, per ogni giorno
della settimana); Ventilazione (3 livelli di ventilazione max-med-min); Controllo deflettore
flusso (oscillazione alto basso del deflettore della griglia frontale),

INSTALLAZIONE
●Prima di collegare Smart Partner controllare che i valori di tensione riportati sulla targa
dati corrispondano a quelli della rete elettrica. In caso di incompatibilità tra la presa e la
spina dell’apparecchio, far sostituire la presa con altra di tipo adatto da personale
professionalmente qualificato, il quale accerti che la sezione dei cavi della presa sia idonea
alla potenza assorbita dall’apparecchio. E’ sconsigliato l’uso di adattatori: se il loro uso si
rendesse indispensabile, devono essere conformi alle vigenti norme di sicurezza e la loro
portata di corrente (ampères) non deve essere inferiore a quella massima dell’apparecchio.
Non usare prolunghe.
●Collegare Smart Partner alla presa di corrente vicina al condizionatore: non devono esserci
barriere fra condizionatore e presa, è bene che sia sulla stessa parete a una distanza
inferiore a 5m. Verificare che Smart Partner non possa subire urti, e che sia fuori dalla
portata di mano di bambini,di persone con limitate cognitive o di animali.
USO
Prima di ogni utilizzo verificare che l’apparecchio sia in buono stato, sia posizionato in
modo corretto: verificare periodicamente tali condizioni. Inoltre:
a. Verificare che il router sia ad uso domestico (cioè non abbia restrizioni di accesso
diverse dalla password), la rete WiFi sia 2,4 G Hz, la presenza di segnale WiFi forte
e uniforme nell’ambiente dove installare Smart Partner.
b. Assicurarsi che lo smartphone sia connesso alla stessa rete WiFi alla quale
successivamente la Smart Partner sarà associato.
c. Resettare Smart Partner, tenendo premuto per qualche istante (circa 5 secondi) il
tasto “ reset “ (2).
d. Verificare che la lampada spia sia rossa e intermittente.
PRIMA INSTALLAZIONE/CONFIGURAZIONE
La APP si scarica:
-o con la scansione del codice QR qui a lato.
-oppure, scaricare sullo smartphone l’applicazione Hotech-Bimar: per Android dal servizio
Google Play, per iOS dal servizio App Store.

CONNESSIONE DISPOSITIVO
1. Aprire l’applicazione sul
proprio smartphone,
eseguire la ricerca del
dispositivo cliccando il
simbolo “ + “, e quindi
cliccare “nuovo dispositivo”.

2. WiFi configurazione.
Apparirà la schermata
come a lato, digitare la
password del Wi-Fi e
cliccare il tasto “Inizia la
ricerca” per iniziare la
connessione. Apparirà
un conto alla rovescia
che si interromperà a
connessione avvenuta.
IDENTIFICAZIONE DEL CONDIZIONATORE
Se la procedura è eseguita correttamente, assegnare al dispositivo un nome e digitarlo al
posto di “Termoventilatore”, impostare appena sotto la password del dispositivo. Una volta
impostato il tutto selezionare “Analisi del condizionatore aria” per dare la conferma.
Puntare il telecomando del
condizionatore verso smart
partner, e premere il tasto
“accensione”.

FUNZIONI APP
La schermata mostra le funzioni attive: temperatura e percentuale umidità relativa
nell’ambiente in cui smart partner opera. Inoltre permette di agire sul controllo delle
funzioni e delle modalità d’uso del condizionatore o, con la scelta rapida, di agire sul
controllo delle funzioni più dettagliate.
Le grafiche in alto visualizzano:
- Le modalità attive: OFF(Stand-by), Cool, Dry, Wind, Heat, Auto,
- Ia temp.(°C) che si desidera nell’ambiente, e la temperatura e la percentuale di
umidità rilevati nel medesimo.
- le funzioni attive
I tasti centrali attivano/selezionano le seguenti funzioni del condizionatore:
- temperatura richiesta nell’ambiente (°C): si modifica scorrendo a destra o a sinistra.
- il tasto attiva o mette in stand-by il dispositivo collegato.
- il tasto modalità, seleziona Cool/Dry/Wind/Heat/Auto (ovviamente il dispositivo
deve disporne).
- Il tasto timer: allo scadere il condizionatore è messo a riposo. Ad ogni pressione
si seleziona: 30’ 60’, 1h30’, 2h, 3h, 4h, 5h, 6h, 7h, 8h.
- Il tasto programmazione: imposta i periodi acceso/spento di ogni giorno della
settimana. La programmazione può essere:
ì) semplice (timer on e timer off e timer on/off): si selezionano i periodi di accensione
e spegnimento per ogni giorno della settimana
ìì) avanzata (timer on/off): si selezionano i periodi di accensione e spegnimento, la
temperatura che si desidera nell’ambiente e la modalità, per ogni giorno della
settimana.
- Il tasto aziona o disattiva l’oscillazione del flusso d’aria.
- Il tasto modifica le velocità della ventola: 1, 2, 3, A (automatica).
I tasti in basso permettono di selezionare tra le funzioni semplici viste precedentemente o
le funzioni avanzate (“Impostazioni dispositivo”) di seguito descritte:
- Curve di temperatura: regola la temperatura delle fasce orarie per ogni giorno della
settimana: il condizionatore climatizza la stanza in base al valore impostato. Al di fuori
dell’orario, il condizionatore è messo in stand-by. Questa funzione ha priorità rispetto
a quella “temperatura costante”.
- Temperatura costante. Regola la temperatura per intervalli di almeno un ora e la
modalità d’uso (heat/ cool) per ogni giorno della settimana.
- Funzione “modalità sonno automatica”: Il sensore di luce analizza livello di
illuminazione nella stanza e se dalle 22:00 alle 6:00 rileva un illuminazione assente
attiva:
ì) la ventilazione
ìì) la riduzione di 2℃della temperatura impostata se è attiva la modalità “heat” e se la
temperatura della camera è superiore a 28 ℃.
ììì) l’incremento di 2°C della temperatura impostata se è attiva la modalità “cool” e se
la temperatura della camera è inferiore a 20 ℃.
- Temporizzatore: permette di impostare i timer di accensione e spegnimento.
- Imposta luminosità: permette di utilizzare colorazioni standard o personalizzate.

DOMANDE FREQUENTI
1.
Smart Partner funziona con il mio condizionatore? E se non funziona?
Smart Partner è compatibile quasi con la totalità dei condizionatori dotati di split con
telecomando a raggi infrarossi. Se avete problemi di accoppiamento del dispositivo
queste sono le cose da controllare:
a) Se la batteria del telecomando è quasi scarica è influenzata la sintonia: in questo
caso è necessario cambiare le batterie.
b) Assicurarsi che il telecomando sia vicino e puntato verso Smart Partner durante
l'operazione di sintonizzazione.
c) Assicurarsi che la rete Wi-Fi sia funzionante e operante alla frequenza di 2,4GHz,
con segnale forte e che il router sia ad uso domestico (non abbia restrizioni di accesso
diverse dalla password).
Se il condizionatore è incompatibile, si prega di fornirci il modello di condizionatore e il
numero di riferimento del suo telecomando (di solito sul retro del telecomando).
Caricheremo il codice IR nel nostro cloud per renderlo compatibile (di solito entro 48
ore).
2.
Posso gestire diversi condizionatori d'aria con una sola applicazione?
Sì. Ogni account è in grado di gestire molti dispositivi, basta aggiungere i nuovi
dispositivi via APP.
3.
Posso installare diversi smart partner in casa?
Sì. Il numero di smart partner utilizzabile dipende dalla capacità del router. Si prega di
notare che smart partner potrebbe non essere in grado di identificare le diverse unità se
sono presenti modelli identici nello stesso ambiente.
4.
Qual è la posizione migliore per installare smart partner?
a) entro 5 metri dal condizionatore da controllare.
b) Non devono esserci barriere tra smart partner e l'unità condizionatore

"Posso installare smart partner anche se esso è sulla stessa parete del condizionatore e
non in linea diretta rispetto al sensore a infrarossi del condizionatore?
Sì, la luce infrarossa viene riflessa dalle superfici, in questo modo il segnale rimbalzerà
colpendo il sensore IR .
6.
Come funziona Smart Partner?
L'utente deve collegare Smart Partner alla rete Wi-Fi. Durante la configurazione (la
password di default è 123456), dovrà abbinare il dispositivo con il telecomando. I codici
del telecomando a infrarossi risiedono nel cloud rendendo facile l’abbinamento.
Dopodichè si può cominciare ad utilizzare il dispositivo. Smart Partner deve essere
collegata alla rete Wi-Fi in ogni momento in modo da essere sempre raggiunta dal
controllo remoto via cloud.

Come posso ripristinare Smart Partner?
Premere e tenere premuto il pulsante di reset per 5 secondi fino a che il led non inizierà a
lampeggiare in rosso, dopodichè si potrò procedere con una nuova installazione

Mancata impostazione della smart partner.
a) Verificare che il router sia ad uso domestico (cioè, non abbia restrizioni di accesso
diverse dalla password)
b) Verificare che il router Wi-Fi collegato allo smartphone operi alla frequenza di 2,4
GHz. Il dispositivo non supporta reti Wi-Fi a 5 GHz.
c) Controllare che la password Wi-Fi sia corretta
d) Controllare la potenza del segnale Wi-Fi
e) Ripristinare Smart Partner premendo il tasto reset e riprovare.

Smart Partner perde la connessione durante l'uso

a) Controllare se nella posizione scelta è presente una connessione Wi-Fi
sufficientemente forte da effettuare un collegamento in internet.
b) Se il router è stato ripristinato o la password Wi-Fi è stata modificata, è necessario
reimpostare smart partner e rieseguire la sincronizzazione.

Come posso condividere il dispositivo con la mia famiglia?
"Fate installare l’applicazione ai vostri familiari, selezionare il tasto “+” e successivamente
il tasto “dispositivo configurato”, dopodichè inserendo il numero di serie (presente sul
lato del dispositivo) e la password si potrà procedere all’utilizzo.

Il telecomando originale funziona ancora dopo aver utilizzato Smart Partner?
Si

Se voglio usare smart partner con un altro condizionatore, devo ripristinare il
dispositivo?
No, non è necessario ripristinare il dispositivo. Si può abbinare il telecomando del nuovo
condizionatore all' APP dopodichè Smart Partner controllerà il nuovo dispositivo anziché
il vecchio.

Come funziona il temporizzatore?
Il temporizzatore si limita a accendere o spegnere il dispositivo utilizzando l’ultima
modalità impostata dall’utente.

Come funziona la modalità sonno automatica?
Smart Partner analizzerà il livello di illuminazione nella stanza in cui l'utente dorme e se
dalle 22:00 alle 6:00 rivelerà una bassa illuminazione il dispositivo reagirà nei seguenti
modi:
a) l’aerazione verrà impostata su bassa velocità
b) se la temperatura ambiente è superiore a 28 ℃in modalità riscaldamento la
temperatura verrà diminuita di 2 gradi
c) se la temperatura ambiente è inferiore a 20 ℃in modalità raffreddamento la
temperatura verrà alzata di 2 gradi

Funzione "temperatura costante"
Questa funzione consente di avere la temperatura ambiente costante controllata da Smart
Partner invece che dal condizionatore, il dispositivo si autoregolerà per mantenere la
temperatura costante. Se l’utente imposterà la temperatura ambiente tra 23°C e 26°C
nella fascia oraria tra le 9:00 e le 18:00 il condizionatore automaticamente raffredderà
quando la temperatura sarà superiore a 26° o riscalderà quando la temperatura sarà
inferiore a 23°C. Oltre l’intervallo di tempo tra le 9:00 e le 18:00 il condizionatore passerà
automaticamente alla modalità riposo.

Funzione "Curva di temperatura".

Questa funzione consentirà all’utente di impostare la temperatura per ogni ora per un
periodo di almeno 5 ore. Il dispositivo quindi imposterà la temperatura in base alle
impostazioni selezionate (caldo/freddo).
Blocco bambini.
Questa caratteristica consente all’utente di bloccare tutti i comandi dal telecomando AC.
Si può scegliere di attivare solo accensione e spegnimento.

PULIZIA E MANUTENZIONE
Attenzione: prima di eseguire le normali operazioni di pulizia, togliere il dispositivo dalla
presa di corrente.
Per la pulizia utilizzare un panno morbido, leggermente inumidito; non utilizzare prodotti
abrasivi o corrosivi.
Non immergere nessuna parte della presa in acqua o altro liquido: nel caso dovesse
succedere non immergere la mano nel liquido ma per prima cosa togliere la spina dalla
presa di corrente. Asciugare con cura l’apparecchio e verificare che tutte le parti elettriche
siano asciutte: in caso di dubbio rivolgersi a personale professionalmente qualificato.
Non disperdere nell’ambiente prodotti non biodegradabili, ma smaltirli nel rispetto delle
norme vigenti. Alla fine della sua vita utile il prodotto non deve essere smaltito insieme ai
rifiuti urbani. Può essere consegnato presso gli appositi centri di raccolta differenziata
predisposti dalle amministrazioni comunali, oppure presso i rivenditori che forniranno
questo servizio all’acquisto di un nuovo apparecchio. Smaltire separatamente un
elettrodomestico consente di evitare possibili conseguenze negative per l’ambiente e per
la salute derivanti da un suo smaltimento inadeguato e permette di recuperare i materiali
di cui è composto al fine di ottenere un importante risparmio di energia e risorse. Per
rimarcare l’obbligo di smaltire separatamente gli elettrodomestici, sul prodotto è riportato
il marchio del contenitore di spazzatura mobile barrato.

Warning light (1)
intermittent red light: network configuration in execution.
steady blue light: connected to the network and the air conditioner.
green light: the signal received from the smart phone is being transmitted to the
device control panel.
The application remotely allows the selection and control of the following functions:Sleep;
Room temperature; Timer (it switches off when the time is up); Daily and weekly
programming (activates operation at intervals as desired for each day of the week);
Ventilation (3 levels of max-med-min ventilation); Flow deflector control (high to low
oscillation of the front grille deflector),

INSTALLATION
●Before connecting Smart Partner, check that the voltage on the data plate matches that
of the electric system. In the event of incompatibility between the power socket and the
appliance's plug, have the plug replaced with a suitable model by a qualified professional,
who should ensure that the cable is appropriate for the power rating of the device. The
use of adaptors is not advisable; if it is necessary to use them, they must comply with
safety regulations and the total current (amps) must not be rated lower than the maximum
current of the appliance. Do not use extensions leads.
●Connect Smart Partner to the socket nearest the air conditioner: there must not be any
barriers between the air conditioner and the socket; it is best that it is on the same wall
and no further than 5m.Check that the Smart Partner cannot be damaged and that it is
out of reach of children or people with limited cognitive impairments, or animals
USE
Before each use, ensure that the appliance is in good order and positioned correctly:
periodically check these conditions. Furthermore:
a. Check that the router is for home use (i.e. it has no access restrictions other than the
password), the WiFi network is 2.4 GHz, the WiFi signal is strong and uniform in the
room where the Smart Partner is to be installed.
b. Make sure the smart phone is connected to the same WiFi network as the Smart
Partner.
c. Reset the Smart Partner by pressing and holding the "reset" button (2) for a few
seconds (about 5 seconds).
d. Check that the warning light is red and intermittent.
FIRST INSTALLATION / CONFIGURATION
Download the APP:
- either by scanning the QR code on the side.
- or by downloading the Hotech-Bimar application on your smart phone: from the Google
Play service for Android or from the App Store for iOS.

CONNECTING THE DEVICE
1. Open the application on your
smart phone, search for the
device by clicking the "+" symbol,
and then click "new device".

2. WiFi configuration.
A screen will pop up as
shown, enter the Wi-Fi
password. Click the "Start
Search" button to begin
the connection. A
countdown will appear
and it will stop once a
connection is established.

IDENTIFYING THE AIR CONDITIONER
If the procedure is performed correctly, rename the device, and set the device password.
Once set up, select "Analyse air conditioner" to confirm.
Point the air conditioner remote control at
the smart partner, and press the "on" key.
APP FUNCTIONS
The screen shows the active functions: temperature and relative humidity percentage in
the room in which the smart partner is being used. It also allows you to control the
functions and user modes of the air conditioner or to control more advanced functions
using the short cut.
The graphics at the top show:
- Active modes: OFF(Stand-by), Cool, Dry, Wind, Heat, Auto,
- The desired temperature (°C) for that room, and the temperature and the humidity
percentage detected.
- Active functions
The central keys activate/select the following air conditioner functions:
- required temperature in the room (°C): modified by scrolling right or left.
- the key activates the connected device or puts it in stand-by mode.
- the mode key selects Cool/Dry/Wind/Heat/Auto (if the device has these
settings).

- the timer key: when the air conditioner has finished, it goes into sleep mode.
Each press selects:30 mins, 60 mins, 1 hour 30 mins, 2 hours, 3 hours, 4 hours, 5
hours, 6 hours, 7 hours, 8 hours.
- The programming key: sets the on / off periods of each day of the week.
Programming can be:
i) simple (timer on and timer off and timer on/off): select the on/off periods for each
day of the week
ii) advanced (timer on/off): selects when it should switch on and off, the temperature
you require in that room and the mode, for each day of the week.
- The key activates or deactivates airflow oscillation.
- The key changes the fan speed:1, 2, 3, A (automatic).
The buttons at the bottom allow you to choose between the simple functions previously
viewed or the advanced functions ("Device Settings") described below:
- Temperature curves: regulates the temperature of the time slots for each day of the
week: the air conditioner operates according to the set value. Outside the opening
hours, the air conditioner is put on stand-by. This function takes priority over
"constant temperature".
- Constant temperature. Adjusts the temperature for intervals of at least one hour and
the mode of use (heat/cool) for each day of the week.
- "Automatic sleep mode" function: The light sensor analyses the lighting level in the
room and if it detects no lighting between 22:00 and 6:00, it activates:
i) ventilation
ii) a 2℃reduction of the set temperature if the "heat" mode is active and if the room
temperature is higher than 28℃.
iii) a 2°C increase of the set temperature if the "cool" mode is active and if the room
temperature is below 20℃.
- Timer: allows you to set on/off timers.
- Set brightness: allows you to use standard or customised colours.

Will Smart Partner work with my air conditioner? What if it doesn't work?
Smart Partner is compatible with almost all split air conditioners equipped with an
infra-red remote control. If you have problems pairing the device, here are a few

Yes. Each account is able to manage several devices, just add the new devices via

Can I install several smart partners at home?
Yes. The number of smart partners that can be used depends on the capacity of the
router. Please note that smart partners may not be able to identify different units if

Can I install smart partners even if it is on the same wall as the air conditioner and
not in direct line with the infra-red sensor of the air conditioner?
Yes, the infra-red light is reflected from the surfaces, in this way the signal will
bounce and hit the IR sensor.

How does Smart Partner work?
The user must connect Smart Partner to the Wi-Fi network. During configuration
(the default password is 123456), you must pair the device with the remote control.
The infra-red remote control codes are in the cloud, making it easy to pair. You can
then start using the device. Smart Partner must be connected to the Wi-Fi network
at all times so that the it can always be reached by remote control via the cloud.

How can I reset Smart Partner?
Press and hold the reset button for 5 seconds until the LED starts to flash red, after
which you can proceed with a new installation

a) Check if there is a strong enough Wi-Fi connection to connect to the internet in

How can I share the device with my family?
Install the application on your family members’ devices, select the "+” key and then
the "configured device” key, then enter the serial number (on the side of the device)
and the password can be used.

device?
No, you do not need to reset the device. You can pair the remote control of the new
air conditioner with the APP, after which Smart Partner will control the new device

The timer simply switches the device on or off using the last mode set by the user.

How does the Automatic sleep mode work?

Smart Partner will analyse the level of lighting in the room where the user is sleeping
and if it detects low lighting between 22:00 and 6:00, the device will react in the
following ways:
a) ventilation will be set to low speed
b) the temperature will be decreased by 2 degrees if the room temperature is above
28℃in heating mode
c) the temperature will be increased by 2 degrees if the ambient temperature is
below 20℃in cooling mode

"Constant temperature" mode
This function allows the constant room temperature to be controlled by Smart
Partner instead of by the air conditioner, the device will self-regulate to maintain a
constant temperature. If the user sets the room temperature between 23°C and
26°C between 9:00 and 18:00, the air conditioner will automatically cool down when
the temperature is above 26°C or will heat up when the temperature is lower than
23°C. After this time interval of 9:00 to 18:00, the air conditioner will automatically
switch to sleep mode.

This function allows the user to set the temperature for each hour for a period of at
least 5 hours. The device will then set the temperature according to the selected
settings (hot/cold).
Child lock.
This feature allows the user to lock all AC remote controls. You can only choose to
turn on and off.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Important: before performing routine cleaning, remove the plug from the mains.
•To clean use a soft, damp cloth; do not use steel wool or abrasive products.
•Do not immerse any part of the plug in water or other liquid: in such an event, do not place
