The Lock and Key Set will give
you the peace of mind you need
without the headache of
passwords or dialbacks.
The Lock and Key Set is an
authentication system for dial
modem security. The lock installs
between the receiving modem
and analog line at your secured
site; the key installs between the
remote caller’s modem and
analog line. The lock trans-
parently passes calls made from
the modem with the key, but it
prevents all other calls from
connecting to the modem at your
secured site.
By special-ordering more
auxiliary units, you can expand
your secure system. There’s only
one master lock in each system.
It may be used as a functional
lock or key, but it’s also used to
program the other locks and keys.
Each master lock has a different
factory-programmed system ID
code that becomes a part of the
encrypted handshake. Call
Technical Support for a quote on
individual auxiliary units.
Note: Each Lock and Key Set
has a unique system code, so
