Thank you for purchasing QBI module.
The idea behind QBI is to fulfill two fundamental functions when patching:
-Duplicate a signal
-Invert a signal
These are two basic yet important and essential functions when patching.
But even though they are important, we wanted them to take up as little space as possible.
We therefore imagined QBI, a module of only 2HP capable of:
-Invert 4 different signals with very high precision.
-Duplicate a signal on 3 outputs without losses.
-Duplicate and invert a signal on 4 outputs without losses.
And the best of all is that you can add these different functions together to always meet your needs when
patching.

BLACK NOISE warrants is products to be free of
defects in materials or workmanship and to be
conform with the specifications at the time of
shipment for a period of two years from the date
of purchase.
During that period any malfunctionning or
damaged units will be repaired, service and
calibrated into your workshop. This warranty does
not cover any problems resulting from damages
during shipping, incorrect installation or power
supply, abusive treatement, or any other obvious
user-inflicted fault.
If your product warranty is passed, it still can be
serviced as long as parts are available in our
workshop. We reserve the right to charge for labor,
parts and transit expenses where applicable.
Before sending your product to our workshop
please contact us for RMA and details. Any
unsolicited parcel will be rejected and or returned.
The postage to our workshop is on the customer.
The return of your module is on us. BLACK NOISE
can not take any responsability for damages
caused during transport.

Unplug you rack power from the main.

As shown on the sketch on the right, align the red
line from the power ribbon cable with the line draw
next to the power connector.

Check twice the alignment of the ribbon cable.

QBI is made up of 4 sections.
Sections B, C and D are normalized to switch mode (5).
To break this connection you just need to connect a jack
on the respective inputs of the sections.
Mode switch allows you to choose whether the outputs
of sections B, C and D will be an inverted or non-inverted
copy of input 1 when no jack is connected to the
respective inputs.
You can therefore use QBI as buffered multiples or
inverted buffered mutliples and disconnect one or more
sections to use them as inverted for a different signal.
