Programming the TV/CATV
channel
You can use the PROG button to store
the channels that you want for CATV or
fortheVHF/UHFrange.Ifyoupressthe
PROGbutton,thetunerstartssearching
forchannels andstores allthereceived
channels. The “AUTO” status is
indicatedinthebottomleftofthemonitor
whilst automatic programming is being
carried out.
The system stores TV and CATV
channelsindifferentmemorylocations.
This function is only available in TV or
CATV operating modes.
Note:
If you want to cancel automatic pro-
gramming,presstheCHANNELbutton.
Generally, however, you should NOT
interruptautomaticprogrammingorelse
not all of the channels can be stored.
Detecting the input signal
Thetunersystemautomaticallydetects
whether a signal is being received and/
or whether a signal can be received in
everysignalinputmodeornot.Ifitdoes
not detect a signal, the “No Signal” sta-
tusisindicated.If asignalisreceived,a
corresponding display appears imme-
diately.
Channel selection
You can select the channel you require
using the two and CHANNEL but-
tons. If the channels were stored using
theautomaticprogrammingfeature,you
can switch between the programmed
channels using these buttons. If you
keep one of the buttons pressed down,
youcanmovethroughtheprogrammed
channels one by one.
