Please read these instructions fully before starting construction.
PVA or equivalent glue will be required to stick sections together.
Sand paper can be used to gently clean any joints.
A sharp modelling knife will be required to remove sections from the sprue. Please use knives with due care and remember
to cut away from yourself at all times.
During the construction of this model, you may find it convenient to use pegs / elastic bands to hold pieces in place while
you allow glue to dry.
You may find it easier to paint sections of your model as you go along prior to the final assembly (see below).
Take the pieces shown above from the sprue.
Glue them together as shown with the smallest
piece at the bottom.
The deck and keel.
Add the deck to the model.
The turn the model over and glue the keel to the
underside. It will project through the deck at the
stern.
The wing supports are formed from the pieces
show on the left. Glue them together as shown on
the right.

Insert them into the holes in the deck (from the
top)
The rudder is made from these pieces.
Glue them together as shown.
Leave to dry.
We suggest you paint some of your model at this
point –see below for details.
Take some of the railing support posts.
Work around the edge of the deck, glueing them
into position.
Also add them to the stern.
Glue the front/side rails into place.
Then add the stern rail.
The wings for the right hand side of the model.
Note –when the wings are placed on top of each
other, the three lugs should form a series of steps
(see pic)

Slide the wings over their support post. If you wish
the wings to move, DO NOT glue them to the post.
Glue the locking piece into place at the end of the
support post.
The wings once attached –note the position of the
lugs with the one that is furthest to the right being
closest to the deck.
The rudder and locking piece.
Slide the rudders post through the stern rail and
deck. If you wish it to move, DO NOT glue it.
Glue the locking piece to the bottom of the post.
The completed model
Painting
While the model was in its sub-components (i.e. upper hull, deck, lower hull, ramp) we painted them.
The prow and underside of the deck were painted black (DIY Emulsion paint), as was the top edge of the deck and
railing support posts.
The handrail and rudder assembly were sprayed white (car primer).
Gold detailing was added to the prow, railing support posts and rudder (model paint).
The rest of the rudder was painted green and black/gold added.
Once the handrails had been glued in place, the tops of the rail supports were painted white to match them –then
once dry the railings were painted green.
The locking pieces (for the wings and rudder) were painted black once they had been glued into place.
