Studyallattachmentmanualsthoroughlybeforeusing
attachments
with
tractor.Bydoingsoyouwillbeaware
ofboththetractorandattachmentcapabilitieswhenused

unit,
andalsothesafestmannerinwhichtooperate
them.

Alwaysfollowmanufacturer'soperationalsuggestions.

fill
gasolinetankwhileengineisrunningorhot.

gas(usingfunnel)onlyoutdoorsandwhenengineis

possibilityof
fire
and/orexplosionfromspilledgasolineor
fumes.

convenientthanreachingoverengine

7.Neverwearlooseclothingwhenoperating

Alwaysshutoffengine,removekey,andlockbrakein
PARK
whenevervehicleistobe

unattended.

Neveroperatetractor

mower,snowcaster,or
any

wire,stones,smalltoysandetc.canbeejectedathigh

Clear
workareaofall

tachmentsontractor.Thisisnecessarytoavoidpossible
injury
frommovingparts.

Alwaysdisconnectnegative(-)batterycablefrom
batterybeforedoinganyworkontheelectricalsystem.
Reconnect

accidental
burnsandshortingofelectricalsystem.

Beforestarting
unit
checktobesureallguardsand
safetydevicesareinplaceandinworkingcondition.This

Becarefulon
slopes,
reducespeedandavoidsharp
turnstopreventtippingorlossofcontrol.Donotstop
orstartsuddenlywhengoinguphillordownhill.

Donotstartoroperatevehicleinaninside
area,
unless
itisadequatelyventilated.Engineexhaustcontains
carbon
monoxidefumes,whichareverypoisonous.
27.
Donotoperateattachmentswhentransporting
vehicle.
