The THERMOPROGRAM is extre-
mely easy to program, even before
it is installed; a spacious display
facilitates this operation, since you
can “see” and change all the infor-
mation and program setting at any
time.
The temperature threshold can be
set at valves between ±0.1 °C and
±0.9 °C.
The THERMOPROGRAM can
generally control both heating and
cooling plants and it can replace
any previous on/off thermostat.
THERMOPROGRAM
TH345
The THERMOPROGRAM pro-
grammable thermostat is designed
to ensure ideal temperature condi-
tions at all hours of the day and
every day of the week.
Its installation calls for the use of a
three-module flush-mounted junc-
tion box and it can be connected to
the heating/cooling plant simply by
means of two wires.
Three LR03 type AAA 1.5 V alkali-
ne batteries are used to power the
THERMOPROGRAM for over a
year.
Once it has been installed, it is
immediately ready to operate with
its permanently-memorized stan-
dard program.
To suit individual needs, the pro-
gram can be adjusted at will, set-
ting the required temperatures for

1 - INSTALLATION
Install the thermostat in a position
where it can detect the average
room temperature (avoid placing
the thermostat inside recesses,
behind door or curtains, or near
radiators).
THERMOPROGRAM is installed
flush mounted in a three-module
box (50 mm deep), proceeding as
follows:
• Remove the front plate from the
housing, figure 3.
• Draw the tab L and the thermo-
stat body out of the housing until it
stops, figure 4, then press gently
on the two side flaps coinciding
with the symbol, figure 5,
detach it completely from the box.
• Insert three LR03 type AAA 1.5 V
alkaline batteries, following the
polarity indications on the bottom
of the housing, figure 6.
WARNING. Inserting the batteries
the wrong way round can damage
the thermostat.
If the messages on the display do
not appear within 30 seconds,
press the reset button R (fig. 71).
Once the above steps have been
taken correctly, the display shows

If you temporarily want a different
temperature without interfering
with the program settings, you can
switch to MANUAL mode by pres-
sing the button, figure 23.
The program graph on the display
is canceled and the temperature
reading refers to the previously-set
temperature, which can be varied
at will by means of the or
button (the thermostat is despat-
ched with a default temperature
value of 20 °C), figure 24.
After about 5 s since the last ope-
ration, the display returns to indi-
cating the room temperature.
You can check the temperature
setting at any time by pressing the
button twice.
In MANUAL mode, you can select
any temperature between 2 °C and
35 °C and this will be kept constant
until you input a new setting or
change to another operating mode.
TIMER-CONTROLLED
MANUAL OPERATION
The TIMER-CONTROLLED MA-
NUAL mode is suitable for use if
you want to set a temperature for
several hours or days (e.g., to keep
a comfortable temperature for lon-
ger when visitors arrive, or to eco-
nomize while away for lengthy
periods).
Once you have set the required
time, the counter begins a count-
down, at the end of which the ther-
mostat switches from MANUAL to
