Welcome to Oral-B!
Before operating this appliance, please read these
instructions and save this manual for future
reference.
IMPORTANT
1. Periodically check the entire
product/ cord/accessories for
damage. A damaged or non-
functioning unit should no longer be
used. If the product/accessories is
damaged, take it to an Oral-B
Service Center. The supply cord
cannot be replaced. If the cord is
damaged the appliance should be
discarded. Do not modify or repair
the product. This may cause fire,
electric shock or injury.
2. Never insert any object into any
opening of the appliance.
3. Usage by children under age 8 is
not recommended. Appliance can
be used by children and persons
with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities or lack of
experience and knowledge if they
have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the
appliance in a safe way and
understand the hazards involved.
4. For water flossing only. Do not chew
or bite on nozzle. Do not use as a
toy or without adult supervision.
5. Cleaning and maintenance should
not be performed by children.
6. Children should not play with the
appliance.
7. Use this product only for its
intended use as described in this
manual. Do not use attachments
(e.g. irrigator nozzle) which are not
recommended by the manufacturer.
8. Only use the charger provided with
your appliance.
WARNING
1. Do not place the appliance in water or liquid or
store where it can fall or be pulled into a tub or
sink. Do not reach for it when it falls into water.
Unplug immediately.
2. When unplugging, always hold the power plug
instead of the cord. Do not touch the power
plug with wet hands. This can cause an electric
shock.
3. This oral care appliance is not intended for use
on multiple patients in a dental practice or
institution. For hygienic reasons, use individual
nozzles for each family member.
4. Do not direct water under the tongue or other
delicate areas. This product is capable of
producing pressures that may cause serious
damage in these areas.
5. Do not direct water into the nose or ear. The
potentially deadly amoeba, Naegleria fowleri,
may be present in some tap water or
unchlorinated well water and may be fatal if
directed into these areas.
6. Small parts may come off, keep out of reach of
children.
7. To avoid nozzle breakage which may generate
a small parts choking hazard or damage teeth:
• Prior to each use, ensure the nozzle fits well.
Discontinue use of the irrigator if the nozzle no
longer fits properly. Never use without a nozzle.
• If the irrigator is dropped, the nozzle should be
replaced before the next use even if no
damage is visible.
• Replace nozzle every 3 months or sooner if
nozzle becomes worn.
• Clean the appliance properly after each use
(see «After use» and «Cleaning
recommendations» paragraphs). Proper
cleaning ensures the safe use and functional
life of the irrigator.

Using the irrigator
Your Oral-B Water Flosser Advanced Countertop
System comes with a convenient wall holder. It can be
mounted easily using the attached items (picture 1).
Before using for the first time, fill the water
container (i) and allow the water to run through
completely by holding the irrigator handle (h) over
a sink.
1. Attach one of the irrigator nozzles (a) to the
handle until it locks into place (picture 2). Fill the
water container with lukewarm water.
If you want to add mouthwash into the water,
please make sure you fill the water container
with lukewarm water first, then add the
mouthwash.
2. Turn on the irrigator by pressing the on/off
switch (e) (picture 3). (When doing so, the
handle switch should be in the lower position =
water stop).
3. Select the water pressure with the pressure
control dial (f) (1 = gentle, 5 = strong) (picture 4).
We recommend that you start with setting 1,
especially if your gums tend to bleed or if
children are using the irrigator.
4. Bend over a sink and guide the nozzle to your
teeth and gums. Slide the handle switch (g) up
to start the water stream (picture 5). Keep your
mouth slightly open to allow the water to run
into the sink.
You can choose between two different nozzle
functions by sliding the nozzle switch (b) down or
up (before doing so, turn off the water stream by
sliding the handle switch down):
Rotating stream for general cleaning and gum
massage (nozzle switch in lower position): The
rotation of the water stream and its micro-bubbles
are designed for easy penetration and gentle gum
massage (picture 7).
Single stream (nozzle switch in upper position):
The straight water stream is designed for targeted
cleaning (picture 8).
Maximal operation time: 15 minutes
Cooling off time: 2 hours
In general, we recommend to replace the irrigator
nozzle every 3 months.
After use
Always empty the water container entirely. If your
dentist has recommended the use of mouthwash
with your irrigator, allow some clean water to run
through the irrigator before you empty the
container entirely to prevent any deposit build-up.
Keep the irrigator switched on until the water stops
running through the irrigator nozzle, to prevent
bacteria from collecting in the standing water. Turn
off the irrigator by switching off the on/off switch
once the water container is empty. Longer
operation of the irrigator without water may
damage the motor.
Press the on/off switch to turn off the irrigator.
Press the nozzle release button (d) (picture 6) to
take off the irrigator nozzle. Always wipe the
handle and the irrigator nozzle dry; place the
handle back onto its base and store the irrigator
nozzle in the nozzle compartment (c).
Cleaning recommendation
Regularly clean the housing with a damp cloth.
The water container and the nozzle compartment
are removable and dishwasher-safe.

Oral-B warrants this appliance to be free of defects
in material and workmanship for a period of two
years from the date of original purchase at retail.
If the appliance exhibits such a defect, Oral-B will,
at its option, repair or replace it without cost for

shipped, prepaid and insured (recommended), to
an authorized Oral-B Service Center. Proof of date
of original purchase is required.
The cost to ship the product to an authorized
Service Center is the responsibility of the
consumer, the cost to return the product to the
consumer is the responsibility of Oral-B. This
warranty does not cover finishes or normal wear,
nor does it cover damage resulting from accident,
misuse, dirt, water, tampering, unreasonable use,
service performed or attempted by unauthorized
service agencies, failure to provide reasonable and

necessary maintenance, including recharging, or
units that have been modified or used for
commercial purposes.

the specified warranty period because of defects in
material or workmanship, and the consumer returns
the unit to an authorized service center, Braun
Canada will, at its option either repair or replace the

performed or attempted by unauthorized service
agencies, misuse or abuse. This warranty excludes
units which have been modified or used for
commercial purposes.
To the extent allowed by law, Braun Canada shall
not be responsible for loss of the product, loss of
time, inconvenience, commercial loss, special or
consequential damages. The provisions of this
warranty are in addition to and not a modification of
or subtraction from the statutory warranties and

Oral-B warranty will be voided if irrigator damage is
found to be attributed to the use of non-Oral-B
replacement nozzles.
Oral-B does not recommend the use of non-Oral-B

• Oral-B has no control over the quality of non-
Oral-B replacement nozzles. Therefore, we cannot
ensure the cleaning performance of non-Oral-B
replacement nozzles, as communicated with the
irrigator at time of initial purchase.
• Oral-B cannot ensure a good fit of non-Oral-B
replacement nozzles.
• Oral-B cannot predict the long-term effect of
non-Oral-B replacement nozzles on handle wear.
All Oral-B replacement nozzles carry the Oral-B logo
and meet Oral-B’s high quality standards. Oral-B
does not sell replacement nozzles or handle parts
under any other brand name.

MISE EN GARDE

3. Cet appareil de soins buccodentaires n’est pas
conçu pour être utilisé sur de multiples patients
dans une clinique dentaire ou tout autre
établissement. Pour des raisons d’hygiène, il est
recommandé d’utiliser des embouts individuels
pour chaque membre de la famille.
4. Ne pas diriger d’eau sous la langue ou toute
autre zone délicate. Cet appareil est capable
d’exercer des pressions pouvant causer des
dommages sérieux dans ces zones.
5. Ne pas diriger l’eau dans le nez ou l’oreille.
L’amibe potentiellement mortelle, ou Naegleria
fowleri, peut être présente dans l’eau du robinet
ou dans l’eau de puits non chlorée et peut être
mortelle si elle est dirigée dans ces zones.
6. De petites pièces peuvent se détacher. Tenir hors
de la portée des enfants.
7. Pour éviter que l’embout ne se brise, ce qui
pourrait générer de petites pièces qui
représenteraient un risque d’étouffement ou
endommager les dents :
• S’assurer que l’embout s’emboîte bien avant
chaque utilisation. Cesser l’emploi de
l’hydropulseur si l’embout ne s’emboîte plus
correctement. Ne jamais utiliser l’appareil sans
embout.
• Si l’hydropulseur tombe, l’embout devrait être
remplacé avant la prochaine utilisation, et ce,
même si aucun dommage n’est apparent.
• Remplacer l’embout tous les 3 mois ou plus tôt
s’il est usé.
• Bien nettoyer l’appareil après chaque utilisation
(voir les paragraphes « Après l’utilisation » et
« Recommandations d’entretien »). Un nettoyage
approprié de l’hydropulseur permet de garantir
son utilisation sécuritaire et sa durée de vie.

Utilisation de l’hydropulseur
Votre système d’hydropulseur avancé Oral-B pour le
comptoir est accompagné d’un support mural pratique.
À l’aide des articles inclus (illustration 1), il peut
facilement être fixé au mur. Avant la première utilisation,
remplir le contenant d’eau (i) et laisser l’eau passer en
tenant le manche de l’hydropulseur (h) par-dessus un
lavabo.
1. Emboîter un des embouts de l’hydropulseur (a)
dans le manche jusqu’à ce qu’un déclic se fasse
entendre (illustration 2). Remplir le contenant
d’eau avec de l’eau tiède.
Si vous souhaitez ajouter du rince-bouche dans
l’eau, veuillez vous assurer de remplir d’abord le
contenant d’eau avec de l’eau tiède, puis ajouter
du rince-bouche.
2. Allumer l’hydropulseur en appuyant sur le bouton
Marche/arrêt (e) (illustration 3). (Au moment de
l’allumer, le bouton du manche devrait être en
position vers le bas = désactiver le flux d’eau).
3. Sélectionner la pression de l’eau à l’aide de la
molette de réglage de la pression (f) (1 = doux,
5 = puissant) (illustration 4). Nous vous
recommandons de commencer par le réglage 1,
surtout si vos gencives ont tendance à saigner ou
si des enfants utilisent l’hydropulseur.
4. Se tenir au-dessus d’un lavabo et guider
l’embout vers vos dents et gencives. Faire glisser
le bouton du manche (g) vers le haut pour activer
le flux d’eau (illustration 5). Garder les lèvres
légèrement séparées afin que l’eau puisse
tomber dans le lavabo.
Vous pouvez choisir entre deux réglages de
l’embout en poussant le bouton de l’embout (b) vers
le haut ou le bas (avant de le faire, éteindre le flux
d’eau en faisant glisser le bouton du manche vers le
bas) :
Flux rotatif pour nettoyage général et massage des
gencives (bouton de l’embout vers le bas) : La
rotation du flux d’eau et ses microbulles sont
conçues pour la pénétration facile et le massage
doux des gencives (illustration 7).
Flux simple (bouton de l’embout vers le haut) : Le
flux d’eau droit est conçu pour un nettoyage ciblé
(illustration 8).
Durée maximale d’utilisation : 15 minutes
Temps d’arrêt : 2 heures
De manière générale, nous recommandons de
remplacer l’embout de l’hydropulseur tous les 3 mois.
Après l’utilisation
Toujours complètement vider le contenant d’eau. Si
votre dentiste a recommandé l’utilisation de
rince-bouche avec l’hydropulseur, laisser l’eau
propre passer dans l’hydropulseur avant de
complètement vider le contenant afin d’empêcher
qu’aucun résidu ne s’accumule. Garder
l’hydropulseur en marche jusqu’à ce que l’eau soit
passée dans l’embout de l’hydropulseur afin
d’empêcher qu’aucune bactérie ne s’accumule dans
l’eau stagnante. Une fois le contenant d’eau vide,
éteindre l’hydropulseur en appuyant sur le bouton
Marche/arrêt. Le fait de garder l’hydropulseur en
marche plus longtemps sans eau peut endommager
le moteur.
Appuyer sur le bouton Marche/arrêt pour éteindre
l’hydropulseur.
Pour retirer l’embout de l’hydropulseur, appuyer sur
le déclencheur de l’embout (d) (illustration 6).
Toujours essuyer le manche et l’embout de
l’hydropulseur; placer le manche sur sa base et
ranger l’embout de l’hydropulseur dans le
compartiment à embouts (c).
Recommandations d’entretien
Nettoyer régulièrement le boîtier à l’aide d’un linge
humide. Le contenant d’eau et le compartiment à
embouts sont amovibles et vont au lave-vaisselle.
