How to set up the BraunAbility Remote app

Quick guide for Chair Topper
Before using this device, download and read the
user manual at one of the following websites:

1. Run the Chair Topper until the Teach-in button on the
receiver is accessible.
2. Download the BraunAbility Remote app from Google
Play or App Store.
3. Activate Bluetooth on your smartphone.
4. Press the Teach-in button (A) quickly three times in a
row and follow the setup wizard in the app.

RIGHT MODEL LEFT MODEL
1. Run the Chair Topper far enough to be able to mount
the receiver next to the Control board box located
behind the cover.
2. Place the bracket flush against the Control board box,
according to the illustration, and mark the position of
the three holes. Drill 5.2 mm (13/64) holes through the
plastic bottom of the Chair Topper.
3. Mount the receiver using the supplied adhesive pads and
clips. Fit the supplied rubber trims to protect existing
cables from damage.
4. Disconnect the power supply cable and the standard
hand held control from the Control board box. Connect
the supplied adapter cable to the control box and recon-
nect the two cables. Depending on the Chair Topper´s
edition it might be necessary to disassemble the Control
board box to be able to perform this step.
5. Mount the bracket in the holes drilled in step 2, using
the supplied screws, washers and nuts.
6. Connect the adapter cable to the receiver. Route the
cable as illustrated depending if it´s left or right model.
For the left model secure the adapter cable in the cable
clip together with the other cables.
