Bromic Butane Soldering Iron

Operating Instructions
ASSEMBLE THE SOLDERING HEAD
Screw the spring loaded tip adapter to the soldering iron clockwise, then the soldering
head can be moved forward and backward.
Make sure the exhaust vent is upward to avoid the damage of tabletop.
Dissemble the Soldering tip by screwing the spring loaded tip adapter counterclockwise.
You may install various tips for dierent operations.
CAUTION: When assembling, be aware of hot parts which may cause burning.

IGNITION
Move the ON/OFF switch to the ON position to release the gas.
Push the spring loaded adapter upwards to expose the burner head. Then light the gas
with an open flame (e.g. lighter or match) by applying the flame to the ignition vent of
the soldering tip.
Release the adapter then the flame will disappear inside the metal sleeves. However, the
soldering head keeps gas flowing through will generate heat.
EXTINGUISH
Move the ON/OFF switch to the OFF position to extinguish the torch.
GAS TORCH
Ignition and extinguishing of the gas torch guidelines:
• Move the ON/OFF switch to the ON position to release the gas.
• Light the torch by placing an open flame next to the Torch nozzle.
• Move the ON/OFF switch to the OFF position to extinguish the flame.
HOT BLOWER
Dissemble the Soldering tip by screwing the spring loaded tip adapter counterclockwise.
The assembly without the soldering tip can be used as a Hot Blower.
Operation will be the same as above for the soldering iron.
FLAME ADJUSTMENT
Move the gas volume control lever toward “+” position to increase the flame strength or
“-“ position to decrease the flame strength.
When the flame is at “+” position, the longer flame may cause the torch to flare or extin-
guish. In this situation, please move the gas adjustment lever to the “-” side and decrease
the flame strength and set up an ecient flame.
GAS REFILLING
• Upon initial use, the torch requires gas charging. Please use high quality butane.
• WARNINGS: When refueling please ensure the iron is away from flames and
parks when filling the gas
• Before filling, make sure the torch is o and the flame is out.
• Let torch cool 5 minutes before refilling.
• Refill outdoors or in a well-ventilated area.
• Hold the torch upside down. Insert and press down the gas cylinders nozzle into
the gas filling valve.
• A complete fill takes about 5-10 seconds.
• Stop refilling once gas starts to overflow. OVERFILLING WILL CAUSE THE
FLAME TO SPIT.
• Please allow the fuel to stabilize for five minutes before lighting the torch.

WARNINGS
Read and follow operating instructions and warnings and familiarize yourself with the
torch before lighting or using. Review instructions and warnings periodically to maintain
awareness.
- Keep the torch out of the reach of children.
- Extremely flammable contents under pressure.
- Maintain good ventilation.
- Always wear goggles and protective gloves and use proper tools to handle hot
work.
- Never breathe in welding/soldering fumes.
- Do not puncture or incinerate.
- Never attempt to modify the torch construction, use unapproved accessories or
fuels or attempt to repair a damaged torch.
- Do not drop the torch as the unit might be damaged and ceramic could be
broken
- Never store at temperature above 45°C such as in a car or prolonged sunlight.
- Follow refilling procedure to avoid serious accidents.
- Do not ignite the torch near the face, hands, clothing or flammable materials.
- Please note the butane flame may be barely visible in certain light conditions.
- Allow the torch to cool down before storage.
- Ensure flame extinguished and gas o after each use.
- Never attempt to use torch as a cigarette lighter.
- Be extra careful when using the torch outdoors on sunny or windy days.
- Wind may carry the torch’s heat back toward you or other areas not intended to
be heated.
- Never use a torch to remove lead-based paint indoors or in any confined area.
- Always check to make sure no intended parts or materials are being heated.
- Whenever there is a possibility that unintended material has been heated, wait
at least two hours before leaving the area.
- Be especially careful to avoid fumes from cadmium, plating and galvanized
metal.
- Beware that the torch tip and accessories get hot during use.
- Be sure not to point the torch in a direction which would cause nearby objects
to ignite.
- Always have a fire extinguisher and a bucket of water near the torch and work
area.
- Do not use water to cool down the torch; it will damage the product.
- Store and transport the container upright.
- After use, please wait 5 minutes until confirming the torch extinguished and
cooled down.
