Problem Possible Cause Solution
My TDS meter is not
reading zero
It could be normal operation or the lters
may need to be changed
Generally, RO systems lower TDS readings
by 90% as compared to tap water readings.
This is a normal working range. For example,
if your tap water TDS reading is 100, then a
normal TDS reading for the RO ltered water
is in the range of 0–10. If the TDS reading for
the RO ltered water is higher than 15% of
normal tap water, this indicates it time for a
lter change (including RO membrane).
