1. Install Support Planks
At the start of every floor, cut two support planks of flooring to about
3 inches (75mm) wide and about 20 inches (500mm) long.
Set the support planks about 1/4” (6mm) from the blade, with the
tongue sides facing toward the center of the table and spaced apart
by at least the width of material you are installing.
Clamp the support planks in place using the clamp knobs. (A)

2. Air Supply
Connect compressed air to the air
inlet. Ensure that the pressure is
regulated to between 80 and 125 PSI.
Disconnect air supply before
servicing and when not in use.

Hydraulics can

Keep all
appendages

Cut power and
depressurize
hydraulic system
before servicing
hoses or fittings.
The blade is
extremely sharp!

operating or

Adjustments:
Blade Depth
To increase the cut depth, rotate the
adjustment knobs clockwise. Ensure that
both knobs are rotated an equal amount. (C)
Hydraulic Fluid Levels
Approximately every 90 days, refill your
hydraulic cylinders using 0W30 motor oil or
ISO32 oil. (This is included in the Paladin 9”
Maintenance Kit #1009SMK.)
1. Tip shear so blade is on top. (You should
have a helper hold it.)
2. Remove fill plugs with 7/16” socket.
3. Carefully top off hydraulic cylinders.
NOTE: It will not take much.
4. Coat plug threads with PTFE tape or
thread sealant. Replace fill plugs.
5. Set shear back on it’s feet.

and steel-toed boots when
operating or bystanding.
3. Operation
Insert plank to desired cut position. Ensure that groove is
seated against the tongue of one of the support planks.
Pull actuation toggle until cut is complete. (B)
Note: The ‘drop’ piece is cut with a steep bevel, while the ‘keep’
piece is cut squarely.

purchaser must make claim to Bullet Tools™ within 60 days of occurrence and must present acceptable
proof of original ownership (such as original receipt, warranty card registration, online registration, or other
documentation Bullet Tools™ deems acceptable) for the product. Bullet Tools™, at its option, shall repair or
replace the defective unit covered by this warranty.
Bullet Tools™ disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including all warranties of merchantability and/or
tness for a particular purpose. Additional rights may be available under the laws of your state or province.
Any and all warranties, written or implied, are void with any alterations to the product. Note: Bullet Tools™
shall not be liable for any special, incidental or consequential damages, including but not limited to lost
